The season premiere episode, All That Remains, is available to download today for PS3 on PlayStation Store for $4.99.

I don’t want to say too much for fear of spoiling the episode, but if you missed last week’s trailer and want a little sneak peek, check it out below.

We’re working with PlayStation to get the Season Pass option up as soon as possible — stay tuned for info on that.

If you’re looking to wait until the Season Pass option becomes available on PlayStation Store, remember to check out the Season One DLC Episode, 400 Days. Not only will choices from Season One carry into Season Two, but choices from 400 Days will affect your Season Two playthrough as well.

  • At first I thought you guys said Season 2 Episode One was free. Then I check it was Season 1 Episode 1. Would’ve been a nice incentive for the community if it was.

  • Psvita news soon please :( !

  • What’s with not offering the season pass on the same day? Or how about the season pass costing only $14.99 and granting episodes 2-5. This is how it’s done on the Xbox 360. Are you guys trying to drive me to a competitor’s platform?

  • I love your games and enjoy playing them, but I, like many others, got burned out of the Wolf Among Us release when we bought the first episode on release day, but now don’t have an option to by the Season Pass for Episodes 2 – 5, like Xbox has, so I won’t be purchasing any more episodes or games of yours until that problem gets fixed.

  • Just finished the episode on ps3. Still an interesting game.

  • This delayed season pass bs again? Why you guys keep pulling this crap? This gonna be a problem with tales from the borderlands and game of thrones too? Just match the Xbox offer like people keep suggesting.

  • PLEASE, NO SPOILERS!

  • Well now I know what I’ll be playing this evening! :D

  • I am extremely disappointed with you TTG for not giving us the option to buy the season pass. My little brother gave me 20 bucks yesterday as a birthday gift to buy The Walking Dead Season 2 season pass…I am taking my money elsewhere and watching a playthrough later tonight after my finals. I’m tired of this BS that you guy’s keep giving us, especially the fans that have been waiting patiently for over a year without little to no news. Thank you for your time, but other developers deserve my money a hell lot more. I might be missing out on playing it but I could care less now. I have been meaning to finally play Mass Effect 3’s Citadel DLC…which is also longer than the first episode of TWD Season 2. Thank you for the hard work, but no thanks. Maybe I’ll pick up the game once it’s on retail…maybe.

  • I love people “I don’t like blah blah blah… *gets it anyways*”

  • @laura Perusco I’m liking your avatar >_<" haha

  • @60. Go away, you lucky guy who chose to buy the game anyway! :P

  • Sorry >_< I just think it's a deal to get something like this for 5 bucks, to be honest. Totally worth it.

  • @Phoenix9889 Yeah, I will get it anyways, on 360 or on Steam (when it drops to $10 for season). Point is, I don’t see why PSN customers get the shaft.

  • @34 I had to jump ship yeah i have a library of well over 120 psn games alone not even including game disks … But i just can’t do the old PS3 hardware and the limited OS no party chat no real multi tasking low game player counts 12Vs12 battlefield4 compared to 32Vs32 battlefield4 on PS4 the way it was meant to be played since it’s inception on PC … Gaming PC specs on a console … Need i say more ? It wouldn’t matter if they were still making PS3 games in 2025 … It was great when it came out but c’mon the wii u is more powerful then the ps3 … That being said the only game we are buying for ps3 from here on out is the walking dead only cause my lady is a huge fan

  • I don’t know if I would say people are getting shafted. It does suck not get something like the competition but it’s not like it’s a big deal.

  • Wow… here I am excited to see that Season Two is in fact launching today, and just planning to wait patiently for the SP to go on sale, exactly like I did with Wolf Among Us, and lo and behold, the comments section is full of people demanding that they get what they want, right when they want it. Bunch of spoiled brats with no manners.

I for one will calmly sit over here in my “polite corner” and wait until the Season Pass is available. It’s not like I have nothing else to play.

    • Hey, thanks so much for your patience! We definitely want to get the Season Pass out asap. Hope you enjoy it when you play. :)

  • @66 It’s certainly not the end of the world, but it’s also not something that should be taken lightly, either. There is no apparent reason for it when so many other games have passes up and going as soon as the game is out, and it’s also kind of important that Telltale could have easily avoided the problem they had with The Wolf Among Us by making the information widely available. A lot of people had no idea they would end up paying full-price until after it was too late, and it doesn’t look like much of a lesson has been learned from that. The offer they make on Xbox works for both Telltale and players since the ability to play right away and save some money is present, while this business of delayed season passes on Playstation and potentially negating discounts actively discourages early adoption and hurts in the long run. It may only be $5, but it’s not quite a “no big deal” situation.

  • Don’t need no trailer, won’t watch no trailer. Season one told me all I need to know. Can’t wait to get started with season two!

  • Jeez, again we have to wait for the season pass? Oh, hell, is it gonna be an almost week-long wait, like with The Wolf Among Us? It does kinda suuck – and I don’t care if I sound like a spoiled brat. It’s just poor management.

  • @68 I agree, StrongestSaiyan (typing that name gave me a funny feeling XD) it really is a shame most people are going to driven to competition for this but I’ll say no matter what console it’s worth experiencing.

  • I don’t see what the big deal is… 5 dollars an episode is fine by me obviously
you’d save a few bucks with a Season pass but meh not a big deal -_________-

  • If the season pass isnt out today u all at TTG are going to lose a lot of potential buyers. I’m not very educated when it comes to the technical issues when it comes to something like this but I don’t think putting the season pass up there would be a big deal. It’s been 2 hours now and still no word on the update, so I’m guessing “as soon as possible” means whenever we feel like it then? I myself have been a big supporter of TTG, I bought the season pass of TWAU on good faith and was not disappointed however I did not get it day 1 cause I didnt have the money at the time so the whole season pass ordeal with that one went over my head, and after reading these comments about how it took u guys 3 whole days I can’t help but be infuriated. Seeing as how that was a new IP it was forgivable; if the same thing happens with The Walking Dead it won’t be and if that’s the case I really hope this whole fiasco doesnt get brushed under the table cause u guys have really ventured out there; u got 2 new IPs on the way when ur almost two months behind on ur latest 1 and now this; which is obviously a ploy to make more money off ur games cause you are undoubtedly aware of the high demand.

  • Will the Season Pass be cross-buy for PS3 *and* Vita?

After supporting nearly all TellTale titles on PS3 and getting all my friends to buy them as well, I’m getting real sick of the nickel-and-diming. At least we’re getting platinum trophies for digital versions now, so that’s an improvement.

Is there any news for when we’ll finally get Wallace & Gromit or Sam & Max Season 1 on PS3? Will there ever be a patch for Poker Night at the Inventory 2 that fixes the pause/hands and loud static/sound glitches?

Thanks in advance for your candor in speaking to our concerns. I’m a big fan and open to hearing/accepting an explanation.

  • @Laura, any idea how long till the season pass will be available? If it will be more than 48 hrs I’d like to go ahead and buy the episodes individually

  • BlackJacq they’re gonna wait until the absolute last minute to say anything about it so they can snatch as much money out of as many pockets as possible. But hey that’s business for you right? What a great country we live in.

  • @RagingMexicano, You can see my explanation in #68 as to why it’s more complicated than just $5. The gist of it is that delaying the season pass like this actually discourages people from getting Telltale’s games right away and hurts them in terms of the goodwill people feel toward the company. I probably wouldn’t care much myself, but the bigger issue is that Telltale is repeating the bigger mistake of not making the delay and difference in pricing made widely known, just as happened with The Wolf Among Us. The difference in pricing already caught a lot of people off guard before because of the delay, and once again an announcement of the delay is only showing up briefly in a press release made the day of release, so anyone who didn’t know about what happened before could easily have it happen to them now. Making a mistake isn’t the end of the world if you learn from it, but it becomes pretty hard to overlook it when you turn around and do the exact same thing at the first opportunity.

  • Hey Laura,

So how does the trophy list work? I noticed that it’s not like the first game where all the trophies are on one list. Are you guys gonna add the trophies in as DLC trophies, or have a different freaking list for every single episode?? Also, no platinum? Dang =(

  • I would like a Season Pass please. I have been waiting 5 hours to long. The Season Pass should be available day 1 (actually more like minute 1) and it shouldn’t be this complicated. The Last of Us had the Season Pass available BEFORE the launch of the game.

  • @ChaoticAssault: I agree wholeheartedly. TTG is ******* up.

  • Any news on how long until the Season Pass available. I hope it’s not as long as The Wolf Among Us, which was like Fri/Sat.

Also, it says cross-buy on the store update. Does that mean With one season pass purchase on PS3, I also get it on Vita?

  • Does cross-buy for this mean ps3 and ps vita since the ps4 version hasn’t been announced?

  • CROSS-BUY?!?!, now I feel like an ahole for my previous comment

  • I cant find episode 1 on the store. Help?

  • Any word on a UK/EU retail release of the vita version for the first season of TWD ?

  • I really wanted to come on here and tell people to stop whining. I bought the Season Pass for TWD season 1, and felt very lucky to get such a great deal. $20 was a great price for one of the best games of the year, and $25, would have been reasonable as well. That said, times are hard, and it’s a very frustrating dilemma that we’re in now. I feel that there is NO reason I should not be able to buy the season pass right now. I’m off today, so I want to play the game today. It’s a week away from Christmas, so it’s hard to justify spending money on myself. I know it’s only $5 I’d be saving, but It’s the principle of the whole thing. I’m a day 1 buyer, and standing fan of TTG. I should be getting a deal, not people who come in later when all is said and done. I think I’m going to buy the Episode just because I Love the demo….but, with 2 more big games in the works, it’s important to try to do right by your fans. I’ve boycotted companies before. I haven’t bought an EA Sports game since they bought NFL exclusivity.

  • PS Store is under maintenance, maybe that means good news. Just now occurred to me that this season pass delay is probably more to blame on Sony and how horribly they run the PS Store compared to the Marketplace on X Box.

  • @Tyler_Lambert

That is a possibility, but the exact same thing happened before with TWAU, so even assuming it is on Sony’s end, it seems like they would have been aware of the problem, and it doesn’t seem to be an issue for any other company that I’m aware of. Plus there is the matter of lack of communication. An announcement saying the game is available, and then only briefly mentioning the delay in the off hand on release day seems like poor handling of the situation, regardless of whose fault it may be. And as I, along with many others, have pointed out repeatedly, this wouldn’t even be a problem if the offer was the same as Xbox. $5 for episode 1, and $15 for the season pass that has episodes 2-5 would solve this since nobody would mind waiting for a season pass when the price was exactly the same. The difference in pricing turns this into a situation where even if the problems are technical and out of Telltale’s hands, they still end up looking bad when people unknowingly spend money they didn’t have to.

  • Hey, man; you’re preachin’ to the choir here. I agree with every point you just made.

  • My fingers are crossed :)

  • I seriously cannot believe all the complaining about the season pass. You’re already getting a–likely–very good game for less than half of what you’d pay for your standard AAA title. Yeah, I guess it does suck a little bit that you won’t save any money and I do know that this is America which is bound and gagged by the Almighty Dollar, but it’s still insanely ridiculous to me.

Only reason I’m not buying it right now is because I don’t know if I can transfer my Vita save to the PS3 version. Is that possible? Or should I just wait for the Vita release? Thanks.

    • There’s no way to transfer your save between platforms. Your Season One save will matter for Season Two, so if that’s important to you, definitely consider waiting and pick up the PS Vita version.

  • Yeah Johnny dude I (keyword)think they said already its a cross-buy promotion

  • Alright wtf. You guys took the store down for half an hour for maintenance and nothings changed.

  • Here I am doing all this complaining and moaning for nothin’. Even if the season pass isn’t released tonight I’m gonna cave and get the first episode. If it’s not up there in an hour and twenty minutes I’m just gonna let you snatch the money out of my wallet just cause I have more love for Clem than any other game character created. Gotta hate how America works, you’d be insane not too.

  • Hell it’ll probably take three months for the next episode to come out anyway. I’ll have five more dollars to spare then.

  • @werejohnny

Saying, “Oh well, it’s only a bit of money” is a dangerous attitude to take. You say “bound and gagged” by the dollar, but last I checked, it was a good thing to be mindful of your spending and to search for the best deals on something you want. I’ve received bills for utilities that were higher for absolutely no reason, and I was able to get the price lowered precisely because I didn’t take the attitude of, “Oh well, it’s just money.” It’s fine if someone decides that the higher price is acceptable to them once they have actually weighed the situation, but brushing off things like bad communication just lets those problems continue. This is not a situation where people are expecting too much of a budget title. It is a situation where people are pointing out an inherent flaw with company policy.

  • When can we expect the season pass for Season 2 on Playstation store?

  • I agree that there is a serious problem here. Out of good faith for Telltale, I purchased episode 1 of The Wolf Among Us since the season pass didn’t appear; I figured it wasn’t an option for this particular title. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case.

Keep in mind I have Back to the Future (all episodes), The Walking Dead (S1), and Poker Night at the Inventory 2. I even bought TWD season 1 again recently for the Vita! All I want is for the company to be fair, and this includes PSN as well, to just post the season pass which gives us nothing more than a discount for paying for everything up front. I understand it’s “just $5,” but it’s the principle of the matter here. When you think of it percentage-wise, 25% is nothing to sneeze at.

I’m heading home for Christmas tomorrow, and I wanted to play this before my PS3 sits here for a couple of weeks…

  • @dunderhead

100% agree. In absolute terms, $5 isn’t much, but relatively speaking it is actually quite a bit. I also got burned by this very situation with TWUA since I figured that the pricing would be the same, or they would at least be up front about it. The only reason I thought to check now was because taking this same situation on good faith cost me before. Similar you, I was very excited that I could squeeze this in between the time that I finished finals and headed home for a while for Christmas, but that probably isn’t going to happen.

  • As I type this S2E01 is downloading. Please TellTale just make the X Box’s option available for us PS3 users, all I have is $20 and the Holidays haven’t been very good to me this year and Christmas is just going to be worse. One more point I’d like to make to my fellow PS users: I’ve heard that once you complete this episode you can then buy the season pass. This just furthers my theory that TTG, as a successful, wealthy company are trying as hard as you can to get $25 from us, the gaming community that made them what they are today i.e. they’re ripping us off; and if there’s anyone out there that is happy about that may I drop dead now.
