Forest Legends: The Call of Love on PS3

Forest Legends: The Call of Love is a game for people who believe in magic.

Once upon a time, the Earth was inhabited by not only people but also Felizes – creatures that could transform into cat-like beings. Without warning, dark times fell upon the world, and war engulfed both races. The humans forced the Felizes to leave the land they had called home for thousands of years and hide in the forests. Humans then outlawed magic and spared no opportunity to attack the werecats.

War, however, means nothing to a pair of young lovebirds. Forest Legends: The Call of Love tells a magical story of a forbidden romantic love – and of a betrayal as corrupt as the love is pure.

The player takes the role of Eveline, the only child of the chief hunter of a human town. She loves Aurelio, a werecat. As the game begins, Eveline and Aurelio meet in a dark forest, where Aurelio is wounded and then kidnapped. Eveline must follow the trail of the kidnappers, free her beloved, and restore peace between the races. Her companion is a charming baby dragon that helps her to solve puzzles and figure out where to go.

The player guides Eveline as she travels through a land inhabited by werewolves, goblins, and other amazing creatures. To reach Aurelio, the player must solve dozens of challenging puzzles and searching for important objects hidden within the many locations.

Visually, Forest Legends: The Call of Love is a journey through a picturesque fairytale forest. Each location is filled with magical objects, mystical characters, and a swarm of colors. Thanks to the graphics power of PlayStation 3, players will enjoy the beauty of this dazzling kingdom in HD.

  • Looks good and no PS Vita I guess?

  • This game looks beautiful. What do the werecats look like? Is there a release date yet? The story sounds really interesting. Will there be a PS Vita version or remote play capabilities enabled? Can’t wait to play this!

  • Please dont price this like a bunch of idiots. Hidden object games shouldnt be any more than $10.

  • @3

agreed. i enjoy hidden object games but they shouldn’t be priced at $15 like it seems every indie game is costing these days.

  • I would consider buying it if priced at $7.99. I would buy it immediately if priced at $6.99 or less. At $10 I would need an amazing DEMO to try first. At $15, fat chance.

  • Wow I don’t get some of you.

Who are you to decide how much a game should cost?

  • @6 uh, we are the people who buy the games. We decide with our wallets. I dont know if youve noticed, but the vast amount of indies being released lately are overpriced. Shoot, even zombeer is$16. Thats a real dumb price.

  • Well this looks like something to checkout, this is kinda where’s waldo/ puzzle based game .

  • Even when some guys could did it in a rude way talking about the tag price, i’m agreed with them about that almost every game now is priced 15 bucks.

  • @ nolo451

We can only hope they’ll understand one day.

  • It sounds like a nice, charming and innocuous little puzzler based off the description, and the art shown here looks great; however, neither the description nor the pictures give me a real idea of what the game plays or looks like, just a general impression of both. Anyway, I’ll keep my eye on it.

As for the debate on price, I don’t think $15 is asking too much if it is a quality game. The reality is that this is their livelihoods on debate and while the difference of $5 may make the difference to some, the fans of the genre, or the devs, or whatever will gladly pay $15 to keep it coming. You do indeed speak with your wallet in that regard, and the internet, but that’s a whisper where your wallet will shout…

  • I’d play these on Vita, not a console.
