    Still no update in sight.
Give it up Ladies and Gentlemen for the WORLD RENOWNED & LEGENDARY RELIABILITY OF THE PSN.

Someday Sony will figure out it’s a good idea for Monday to mean Monday and Tuesday to mean Tuesday, until then we can all go screw ourselves.

  • Please Destroy all Humans 2(PS2) on Vita.
It would easily look the best game for vita.
    Just think about it.

  • Release the 64 GB Vita Memory Card in North America (as in don’t forget Canada)!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Okay update.
Browser needs to be completely overhauled.
A Twitch app would be so great.
Calender is cool, but I already bought Sola Calender, and it does me just fine.
In fact, that developer has been giving us mobile apps that should have been included from day one. A simple yet useful weather app, come on.
Like the PSP, more control over our music and pictures would be nice.
Simple apps such as Tumblr, snapchat, Vine, etc seems so obvious, yet… Think we have enough video streaming services.
I love my Vita, and I don’t want to see it go the way of the PSP, wasted potential.

  • copy paste feature and text editor

  • Some really nice additions.^^

But what I would love to see in the future would be some reader app to view PDF and eBook files.

  • looking for a twitch app O;!

  • Really happy about the updates that happening for ps4 and ps vita. Please, continue like that <3.

  • 3.0.1 or 3.1.0?

  • Enfin!!!

  • Yey PSV sys update is ON!
I will do a test record of my fart, check it’s size and pin it in callendar as an attachment. Then i will download it and set as an app for my home screen. Soon after I will tell you all how things work.

also I would like to put a ‘like’ on comment #154 but simply can’t
there were numerous updates and still I can’t switch music through LR bumpers (like in PSP)
but who needs those when you get another apps that will land straight in your trash folder#2 because #1 is not enough. You can’t even hide them from home screen. Gosh what a disaster.

  • Fantastic! The 30 or 40 people who still have a Vita should be delighted!

  • I would like to see a FW update increasing compatibility with PSX and PSP games on the Vita. I would REALLY like to see a FW update adding PS2 emulation to the Vita, allowing us to play the PS2 classics that are on the PSN. I think it was a huge wasted opportunity when the Vita was announced to lack that feature, as I have always dreamed that it would be natural for PSP’s successor to be able to play PS2 games, as the PSP played PSX games. This would make the Vita even more attractive, as it would increase the game library and also encourage more people to buy PS2 classics. Let’s face it, they don’t look very good on a HD TV, but they would look as good as we remember on Vita’s smaller screen.

  • Thank you for the info on the 3.10 update.

  • And I want this app(JAPAN psVita ONLY)
I want you to take out this application. (japanese ps vita)

  • ALRIGHT!!
Very good update, but this should only be the beginning of a series of updates to the system.

I know this comment is way back but if it is seem by someone on the team, please pass it along.

A poll on the blog needs to be made asking the PS Vita community for feedback in what needs priority on the following list of shortcomings for the PS Vita system.

    1. We realize that maybe the PS Vita is not designed to work with more than one account at a time, maybe the encryption pairs with the memory card which then has to match the system.
But, can it be made possible to use multiple memory cards, one for each account, allowing the switching of accounts and making the PS Vita system aware of those multiple cards and accounts, therefore a simple Settings > Account Management > Switch Account = Power Off – User switches memory card – User powers up PS Vita – PS Vita recognizes account on card and on loads with that account. This means that PSN details would be stored on the card and not on the PS Vita system.

    2. Expand upon WiFi encryption (WEP, WPA, WP2, WPA Enterprise, etc), this should be standard on any hardware released by Sony!

  • 3. Allow hiding applications (and restoring them by going to Settings > System > Restore Hidden Apps)

    4. PSN App – Download List filtering (filter out, by default) content that is not playable on the PS Vita.

    5. Button Reassignment (allow us to either swap the X and O, or reassign buttons as needed across the interface and/or games).

    6. More integration with PS4 and its social features (there is no reason the PS Vita does not have a PS Live App, nor the What’s New Feed)!

    7. Bundling of Apps (Content Management needs to be a subitem of Settings, Music, Movies, Pictures can all go into a Media App, PS3 Remote Play and PS4 Link, etc).

    8. Alternative UI (that offers parity with the PS4 UI, while keeping our folders as squares instead of bubbles with a 3 x 4 layout per screen).

    9. UI Shortcuts (look at a recent Android 4.4 device, allow swiping to the left to reveal favorite apps, etc.).

There are more where these came from, but even if these are not looked at, please consider some of them and what the community is asking for.
The sales will come, but you must support the system just like you are supporting the PS4, if not, what is the point of even trying!
    Thank for reading this far!

  • 3 apps shy of 100

    Good timing Sony! :)

Those looking for 64GB cards need look no further then Amazon Marketplace. Mine has been working no problemo. :)

  • Two more before I forget:

    10. Add a small marker (a small cart) on the bubble if the app comes from a cart or a psn store icon if it was downloaded from the store instead.

    11. When buying from the PS Store, after tapping cancel on the download screen, the application will still get downloaded. This wastes time as it not only ignores the cancel command, but then the user need to exit the app can quickly cancel it.

  • Another one:

Don’t bring the 64gb to the US, give up a 128 GB for the price of the 64 GB, I have a 64 GB and it is already full, LOL!
Yes, I love my PS Vita, and when given the chance to buy PS3/PS4 or PS Vita, I will choose PS Vita.

  • Great Update! Love my VITA! Keep bringing me games!

  • Very nice update, here’s my future recommendations:

Ad-hoc Party for PSP games would be awesome!
    Take screenshots of PSP/PS1 games,
Listen to your own music in PSP/PS1 games,
Better organizations in music/photos/videos (make playlists in music, folders in photos/videos),
Copy/paste text and better web browser.

  • Some very welcome additions.
But the Vita really needs support for multiple accounts like the PS3 does. It’s what’s bothering me most about the system.

  • Pretty awesome update, especially the memory management and voice record functionality.

Add my name to the list of people wanting a 128GB memory card. I’d gladly pay $150 for it although I hope it would be $100 like 128GB SD cards are :)

  • Hi!! I use the Brazilian psn, and I am also a plus member. When do you intend to release YouTube app forVita in Brazil? It’s sad to have that app in American acc, and not having it in Brazil.

  • Please make the PS Vita UI look like the PS4 UI

  • I want a feature that allows your ps vita to stay online during games that take it offline, cause I hate that games like Atelier and FFX I can’t play with while in party chat. Also, a ability to turn off ad-hoc on PSP games without turning off Wi-fi, I hate that when ever I play Sega Genesis collection on my Vita, ad-hoc automatically turns on and turns off wi-fi, then the only way to turn it off is to turn off wi-fi too.

    UPDATE:

AGAIN, Still no update in sight.
Give it up Ladies and Gentlemen for the WORLD RENOWNED, LEGENDARY & “TRUSTED” RELIABILITY OF THE PSN.

Someday Sony will figure out it’s a good idea for Monday to mean Monday and Tuesday to mean Tuesday, until then we can all go screw ourselves, or seek professional help.

  • I love the idea of a calendar app, I’ve wanted one for a while on my Vita. Could I suggest however that more services be added for syncing.

  • Awesome, just need a 64gb card ( or larger ) now and I’ll be all set.

  • @179, not sure why you are not getting the update, but I updated mine an hour ago (US PSN). Try going to the store on the Vita, it should force you to update the firmware.

  • Wow I literally bought the sola calendar app yesterday -.- but thanks anyways this new one looks better :)

  • lol me and my friends are going to have fun with that voice recorder xD

  • Please increase the music playlist limit, let’s say if i have 1000 music in my vita, i can’t make a playlist with larger than 300 song let’s say 600 song…

  • UI update please now that PS4 & VITA complement each other the UI of the VITA has to be hand to hand with the PS4 UI IMO.

  • It’s awesome that you guys are supporting the Vita with updates and adding new features but how about letting us remove or delete system apps that we don’t ever use?! Storage prices are still ridiculous for what is basically a microSD card, but that’s a whole other complaint.. Anyway, I play games and that’s really all I do. I’ve never opened maps, never used near or messages or party or friends or email and the list goes on. Why can’t they be optional? I sure don’t need calendar, I’ll never use it but there it is taking up valuable and expensive space on my Vita. Why won’t you let us get rid of the stuff we don’t use? Make it optional and let the user decide what they want or need please.

  • Hello i would like something like this in the next software update:

    – Change on the UI (The LiveArea is cool but too childish; remember that we are mature gamers no childs)
    – A unlock to the Ps Vita 3G (I don’t like AT&T)
    – A document viewer (or a document package for all office gamers i don’t care if i pay for them but i want them)
    – Apply themes to the Ps Vita.

I want that, and i’m glad that the console are getting much and more better.

  • Hey Ryan just wondering when we can get update to play ps2 games on the vita

  • Thanks for the update! I can have 500 applications on the home screens, great! Content Manager on the vita, even better! But there is no way of me finding the one game or app i want to use except by putting specific games in folders, and scrolling through? That only works if I can have more than 10 games/apps per folder. Definitely need a new UI besides the bubbles or at least give me a search function by swiping down from the top.

I would like a more unified UI between the PS4 and PSVita, as well as more compatibility between the two like content management on the PS4 for the Vita. The Calendar is a little silly at best as We have so many other devices that does a calendar a lot better.

Keep up the great work guys! I look forward to see what you guys come up with in organizing games / apps! :D

  • This is good news for the PS VITA..now lets see some new games..all im waiting for is a SHANK and JOE DANGER …and SERIOUSLY a GTA or SAINTS ROW game..but i will also settle for a GOD OF WAR or even an INFAMOUS game..:p

  • Thanks so much for the regular Vita updates! Loving the memory card manager and the Calendar app. :)

Please emphasize UI customization in the next update. Users have discovered ways to do some really cool stuff like the transparent backgrounds here- http://imgur.com/a/wC8Zo

They work with the default animated backgrounds but it’s kind of erratic, like the ugly fade-to-black transition when swiping home screen pages. It’d be great if there was built-in support for features like that:

    – An official Sony website or app for discovering new wallpapers.
    – Other kinds of animations besides the swirls.
    – Different choices for transitions between wallpapers like scroll or dissolve.
    – Support for vertical wallpapers with large dimensions that span multiple home screen pages.

The Vita is a sexy piece of hardware and the better we can make the UI look the more people it will attract! ;)

  • FINALLY!!!!Thank you Sony as I can finally stop juggling with 100 APPS like I have for the past six months. This was a long time coming and to me….the single greatest and most important PS Vita update! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Any plans on enabling party chat when using remote play between ps vita and ps4? I think this is a needed component for the vita.

  • I’d like to say thank you for the features that are currently part of the system, and in this update, and not demand any further specific features or games in this post, and possibly be the only one who didn’t do so. ;) Thanks again!

  • Nice update!

I personally would love to see the Netflix app updated on the Vita to include the newer core software of Netflix that allows people to pick their profile. Since my Netflix profile isn’t the main family profile, I can’t access my queue from the Vita.

    I’d also like a note-taking app.

    Keep up the great work!

  • I too am extremely excited to hear about the increased app limit (although I’ve never run into it myself). A lot of Vita owners are going to love this : )

  • As for my suggestions….

    1) I’ve been asking for this for quite some time, but it would be nice to be able to have the PS button on the vita function in a way similar to the PS3. By that I mean it would be nice to be able to press the button (and play music or check messages) without disconnectong from an online lobby, etc. while playing a game.

    2) Can we please get a shorter refresh interval (shorter than 15 minutes) to check for new messages?

    3) I was extremely excited once we were finally able to upload saved data to the cloud, but I think this benefit should be extended to all vita owners and not just Plus members (even if it’s only 150 MB like PS3 users). Furthermore I would greatly appreciate it if there was a separate Saved Data Utility feature (like the PSP has) that lets us copy saved data directly to our PS3 or a PC.

It’s cool to see how much the Vita has changed since day 1, just in terms of the system updates and added new features. Keep up the awesome work Playstation!

  • Can someone direct me to support?

My Vita can no longer recognize my 32GB card (well, more like it crashes and won’t go through boot). It can recognize my 16GB and my 8GB card though and goes though boot normally.
