PS4 Games in 2014: The Ultimate List

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a ton of new PS4 game announcements — so many that we challenged ourselves to build a list of all known PS4 games scheduled to release in North America in 2014. You’ll find our initial findings below. Of course, the usual caveats apply here: schedules can shift and plans can change. • Wow, nothing in that list really grabs me.. I guess that’s good I could really use saving some money.
I obviously want Driveclub and pre-orderd it I-can’t-remember-when ’cause it’s been delayed so many times.
And I’m curious about Watch_Dogs, but otherwise I’m not seeing anything amazing. Hopefully the ones that I don’t recognise names of will turn out to be great.

  • This list is awesome and It is great to see Playstation working with all these Indie developers, but I would like to see a list non-indie games that are being released as well. It would definitely help!

  • YES, finally somewhat of a release date for Sportsfriend. Been waiting on any news on it. Does that mean the PS3 version will be out sooner?

  • I was hoping to see FINAL FANTASY XV on this list.

  • Ummmmm I don’t know how how to reply, sorry about that but this is to thank
    AizawaYuuichi
    and
    Sid Shuman
I didn’t realize Sep 9 was still summer, thanks for letting me know :)

  • There’s a lot of promising games on this list, no doubt about that, but Sony needs to announce more first party titles.

  • Since DriveClub is delayed I need another racing game ASAP! I hope THE Crew comes out this Summer!

  • I agree with #7

great video tutorial for setting one up with google

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJncJK1OVWM

  • That is one long list of games. Can’t wait to see what all the Sony Worldwide studios have to add to that. I have a few of these on Pre-Order already so I can’t wait. And anything i fail to pick up will surely be added to the IGC sometime in the future. Definitely the best launch year for a new platform.

  • I think Warframe deserved a spot in the “Out Now” section.

  • A lot of good stuff on this list. Can’t wait to get a PS4. The list could use more JRPG games in my opinion.

  • Great list. I do plan on get a ps4 in the next two months. A list for PS Vita would be nice to see.

  • from what i just read the project cars be out in November plus going supporting Project Morpheus so i don’t get why u haven’t update list with project cars on it.

  • glad to see a list of something coming i was worried i bought my ps4 too soon. now if you can just give us some good playstation plus content.

  • H-Hour !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cant waittt, Sony support them so they can get it done for a early 2015 release thanks

  • awww no, please think about GTA V :”(
    it’s lovely

  • what i will be Buying:

    Later this year-

    MGS:GZ
    TowerFall

    Day1-

    The Crew
    Watchdogs
    The Division
    Helldivers
    WWE 2k15
    UFC
    Dying Light
    Diablo 3
    Batman: Arkham Knight
    Fifa 15
    Destiny
    Mercenary Kings

H-Hour Worlds Elite, Please support SOFstudios we need more Socom like games in this world.. all shooters are boring and need no team work these days

  • This is amazing guys! Thank you so much. I realize this took forever, but I’d also like to put in that VitaBros would be thankful for their own list. A constantly updated database for all your systems would be fantastic, but granted it would need a lot of upkeep. Here’s hoping this expands!

  • No Final Fantasy XV? :o

  • I don’t have a PS4 yet but I’m looking forward to Minecraft for the PS4. I’m just wondering, any news on Ratchet & Clank coming to PS4 or are they finished with the franchise already? When is Uncharted PS4 be coming?

  • This list is Horrible. I can’t believe people are actually excited about getting an Indie game ON A PS4 or Vita…We paid $400.00 for a console with almost no Triple A titles confirmed. Drive Club really? Supposed to have been day one now its back at Drawing board!? If i wanted to play Indie games i’d stick with ANDROID or IPHONE or OUYA or anything other than a PS4. I have a Vita that after Uncharted and Killzone came out for it the system has been collecting dust. What a joke. InFamouse 2nd Son was awesome and we need more games of that Quality or Better. Even the other team has more games than this and they are teasing even bigger announcements at E3.

  • No Ultra Street Fighter IV

  • Putty Squad is already out. Don’t think anyone really noticed though, lol.

  • Good to see #DRIVECLUB and THE ORDER 1886 are still 2014. Hopefully they both make it.

  • I wouldn’t hold my breath. I do hope i am wrong i really do! @MarinoBrea

  • Defense Grid 2 is planned for a Fall 2014 release, as per their new post on their Kickstarter page from today.

  • Destiny, Dragon Age, The Division, The Crew, and The Order for me. Other than Minecraft, none of those Indies really interest me at all

  • Oh and Assassins Creed of course!

  • How about Deep Down? I didn’t see it on the list..Did it get pushed back again?

  • Where is the RIME ?

    Pls an answer :((

  • The Golf Club by HB Studios is coming this spring.

  • Blaming the PlayStation 4 for when publishers release their games and for the type of games being released is like blaming your car manufacturer because your favorite bands haven’t released a new CD to play while you’re driving. I love the PS4. I have no problems waiting for games because as this list shows, they are coming. To say this list is horrible is flat out not true. There are a lot of great games on the list. There’s something for everyone. For me it’s Destiny. But there are a lot of other great games I’ll be picking up. Thank you Sony. Keep innovating. Let the haters hate.

  • No The Witcher 3?

  • @226
Saw the preview for The Golf Club in the April issue of GameInformer and I am looking forward to it this Spring.

  • Can’t wait till watch dogs

  • There’s a similar list on Reddit sub /PS4, but they are not the same. This list has a little less titles than the one curated by reddit. Maybe there a couple titles missing ;)

  • Lol still no Kingdom Hearts 3. I find it quite funny, that they showed a trailer for it a year or so ago at E3. Then they were like yeah…Just kidding. it’ll be another 2 years at least. XD

  • Great job on the list!
I can’t wait to see what you guys have planned for E3!

  • second son, watchdogs, N++, Order 1886, Division for me this year.
i hope they show some good exclusives in E3, not many games to justify the ps4 purchase just yet.

  • Strider
    Watch_Dogs
    Destiny
    The Evil Within
    Batman: Arkham Knight
    EA Sports UFC
    The Order: 1886
    WWE 2K15

    These will do.

  • awesome list of games excited for some and intrigued by others. looking forward to getting my hands on some of these games and hoping for demos for others.

  • Great List !! glad to have something to share with No games posters on the Forums!

  • Hmmmm, yeah, just checked into Transistor and it’s an action RPG, not a traditional turn based JRPG D:
Also, the story and dialogue of Transistor seem rather absurd.

Not seeing any classic style Final Fantasy type games that I used to buy PlayStations for. Not sure what games I am supposed to be excited in these lists. Final Fantasy is forever ruined and turn based JRPGs for some reason (despite being the best subgenre of games) have ceased to exist for home console. Action RPGs just don’t do it for me.

  • Hello there, is there any announcement for Doom 4 and Deep Down?! Thanks for the awesome list btw!

  • Awesome, now where to find a game list of 2014 for PS3 and PS Vita.

  • NHL 15????????

  • Can’t wait to pay an extra $10 for these in Canada.

Sony sure does love to gouge Canadian customers!

It’s a rare company that is so openly prejudiced against one country!

  • Needs more Japanese games hehehehe.

  • NBA 2K14 for games that are already released should be added

  • April 16 is the release date for FFXIV look it up its the date that all the other big sources have funny you’d think since they know it sony would know it 2 oh well anyway wens next big ps4 firmware update you guys are posting any and everything but the stuff that actually matters cause without proper reqular updates those games wont even function properly come on sony your better then this stop trying to b like microsoft
