Damn those extra cents on the Plus price for SSZ, now it would have to wait for it to be discounted. Maybe if you were to placed more sales I would feel encourage to add a PSN to my wallet.

Not a very good update this week. All that’s there for me is the new episode of A Wolf Among Us. I’ll also probably check out that King Oddball, although I don’t have very high hopes for that one, especially as a PS4 game. Other than that, absolutely nothing.

Meh…Stealth: A Clone in the Dark was just on sale for $3.75 a couple weeks ago.

Sony, how is that PS4 update coming along? THE ONE WERE WE WILL BE ABLE TO LISTEN TO Mp3 music…
The one you claimed you had your firmware team working on back before the system was released…
It’s also not a good bluray player compared to the competition.

It’s really too bad that the XBONE IS a much better media system. It’s also why I end up leaving my PS3 connected most of the time and not my PS4.

About FF14 A Realm Reborn:

So it says FREE to DL on the PS store. Does that mean the Beta Phase 2 PS4 DD copy we DLd (Apr4-7) is the main FULL game already waiting without needing to re-install once the game goes live? We just have to buy the physical PS4 disk to get the code to register the game? If so, how does it know when we get to start our 30day trial?

Or, is the PS4 console owners being treated to a FREE copy of FF14 ARR minus the free 30day trail and having to start a subscription up front?

Can someone chime in on this? Thanks in advance.

For those with questions about Final Fantasy XIV:

You download the client here for free (or buy the game from stores), HOWEVER, you will need to purchase a copy of the game in order to play.

For those changing from PS3 to PS4, you will be able to transfer your account to the PS4 version on the 11th, be aware that you will not be able to play the game on PS3 anymore unless you repurchase it. All of this stuff can be handles at the Mog Station set up to handle FFXIV account info.

Nice! Free PS4 Version of Final Fantasy 14! I’m pretty sure that means you don’t get 30 free days but you can just buy a subscription for $12.99 and play for 30 days or if you have the PC version you can transfer you character over for free.

77

+ Gaara436 on April 8th, 2014 at 3:59 pm said:

@68 when you buy the game and redeem the code you are registering the game at that point 30 day free trial starts. The anything obtain or level carries overs to main game the beta does not count tours the 30 days at all. No you don’t need to re down game based off what I research there just going to be a small update to remove beta launch window that pops up when you start game. From my understanding.

78

+ Gaara436 on April 8th, 2014 at 4:04 pm said:

@76 game is not free you need to buy game this has been stated many times. It’s only free to download. Need to pay for the game and monthly subscription. If you have ps3 copy hard disc or digital copy can transfer rights to ps4 via free copy of ps4 but can no longer play on ps3 verison. As for 30 days free subscription trial is only issue or allow if you buy full ps4 copy digital or retail copy only.

Why do I have to keep saying this every week?

PLEASE SPECIFY THE PLATFORM when you list the Sale, Other Sale and Price Changes. So often I get excited after spotting a title I am interested in the blog post, only to be disappointed when visiting the store and finding out that it is for Vita or other platform. While some titles are obvious, many games are multi-platform and are not.

Is it that difficult for you to do a little bit more work, find out what platforms they are exactly and add it to your post? Geez. (At least this time we don’t see “trials” everywhere.)

So I repeat…
PLEASE SPECIFY THE PLATFORM

We need to know what will be done with The Hobbit movie 3. Will it be added as a FREE DLC to Lego Hobbit? Do we pay $59.99/$49.99 now, get the first 2 movies now, and later get movie 3 for free? Or do we have to pay again, perhaps $19.99, to get movie 3 later? Will there be a complete edition later at $59.99/$49.99?

Until this is clarified, I will be holding off the purchase. Not planning to spend $79.99 on a Lego game, especially after having so many of them recenty (and Lego Movie is kinda a rip off, being such a short and scaled down game).

Downloading the FFXIV client is one thing.

It won’t let you play the game without a Square Enix Account and that account has to have an activated serial code for the game.

PS3 users will be able to upgrade free by transferring (no more ps3 access).

Everyone else is free to download the client to get ready to play, but you’ll need to go to the SE store, a retailer, or another online store to actually buy the code you need to activate the game.

The Sony staff has not yet made it clear if we’ll be able to buy it on ps4 (the 14th) the way we can on ps3 or if we have to find another source for a the code. I would expect the option, but you never know these days what the store team is thinking.

Buying it on the PS3 now that it’s 25$ sounds like a good idea for people with both systems. The Canadian price for the game at gamestop has gone up to 50$

I’ll take Stealth Inc and Strike Suit Zero!! Ultimate version which is BETTER than PC (yes I have the original Strike Suit Zero)

And please FOR THE LOVE OF SONY,
make a goddamn VITA GAMES LIST

you have SO MANY games released on 2014 already and most of them NOT INDIES, but it’s irritating to see many write them off as indies just because it’s from Japan.

January : Dragon Ball Z
February : Toukiden, Danganronpa
March : Project diva f, FFX/2 HD Remake, Destiny of Spirit, Deception, Dynasty Warriors
April : Demon Gaze, Conception
May : Borderlands 2, God of Wars/2 HD, Sly Cooper Collection

2014: Mind Zero, Monster Monpiece, Soul Sacrifice Delta, Project diva F2nd, Neptunia PP, Neptunia Re:birth, Akiba’sTrip, Persona 4: Dance All Night
and many more I might forget

and tons of indies (FEZ!) to add the mighty list, but WHY you always only market PS4… even though I know how much love you give to existing members of Vita… but not the marketing itself.

nb: and look at the competing console 2014 list, it’s so barren yet still going so strong, I don’t know why…

99

+ stefer09 on April 8th, 2014 at 5:40 pm said:

FFXIV : the free download is the CLIENT only.

You’ll have to buy the game :
-If in store, the box should include a code to redeem on the PSN
-If on PSN, a “code” should get tied to your PSN account to validate that you paid the game

You then go on the FFXIV website (in the mogstation) to tie your Square Enix account to your PSN name.

That’s more or less how it worked on PS3, except on PS3 the pre-load was only available to pre-orders.

It is better to buy it for PS3 now, then upgrade to the PS4 version for free.

Those who had the BETA PHASE 2 : it was said on a post from Square Enix that it’ll be the same client, just with an update INSIDE the client.

Those who complain about a monthly fee : welcome to MMOs.
