SHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!
::listening while i play FFXIVARR:: :D
@shuhei All games are deserving of a platinum trophy indie games and full retail game So please change your ridiculous policy’s
You’re hurting the sales of games by not allowing them to have a platinum trophy like trials fusion / metal gear GZ/etc.
I just want PlayStation to be the best brand it can be and I know a lot of people love to get their trophies especially their Platnum’s P.S. you’re sincere playstation fan
SHUHEI!!!
Okay guys, next time Shu comes on the show you need to ask him how to pronounce his freakin’ username! lol
I pronounce it “Yo S.P.” but I’ve heard you guys pronounce it in various ways also, we must figure it out and ask what it means!! lol
If Soul Sacrifice Delta doesn’t come out by the end of spring, fire everyone who works in localization. It’s a tough call to make, but you’re our only hope, Shu.
@6 I don’t think Playstation are hurting their games sale by not having Platinum in some games or you didn’t played PS1, PS2 games? Because they didn’t have trophies…
I’m a long PS Player and i 100% every game i love, but get annoyed because of simple tag trophies don’t seems good and of course I wouldn’t let of playing PS classics or new games because they don’t have “platinum” support. I’m think Mr. Yoshida like a player i’m sure he is would just say to play and appreciate your games.
@10 First off I want to say I am in no way arguing with you because I believe the same as you, play games because you love them and 100% them if you are into the grind for that particular game. However he does have a point that Platinums sell games.
People would never buy games like Zombie driver and Spare parts and tons of other decent but not great games if it wasn’t for the Platinum. Look on forums and you will see hundreds of people talking about new indies and saying “no platinum no buy”. It is shameful but it happens. It will always happen for here on out. People (including me yes I am ashamed) re bought Walking Dead for vita because it had another platinum that was easy.
@11 That’s a point i don’t disagree, unfortunately it sells games, but i think it’s just a small portion of people who does this trophy hunting for serious business, the major part just buy a game because of marketing (hype) and quality, and yes i do bought games twice too (Walking Dead and Rayman Legends for example), but because i wanted to experience the same game on a different platform (Vita/PS3), saying that i prefer when it’s more accessible through cross-buy and shared trophy list.
ULTIMATE WARRIOR
I still wonder what the fascination with platinum trophies is. Seems like some people buy games just to get them. I personally buy games to play them, not to work at them. Doesn’t mean a thing to me if i got an imaginary trophy that says i did ALL THE THINGS (which just means i did stuff to get other imaginary trophies). What matters to me that i had fun with the game. If getting trophies is your fun, more power to you, but i can’t be bothered. Trophies tell me what i did do, but don’t tell me what i HAVE to do. ::shrug::
@14 I’m just saying it should be there for people that wanted it and for those that don’t want their trophy don’t go for it. I just think all games are deserving of it small or large
SHUUUUUUUUUUUU
Oh wow, so to correct the comment I made earlier (#8), you actually did ask him about his name! Haha, I dropped the comment before I even listened to the show because I was like, “there’s probably no way they’ll ask it”, lol.
So it turns out how you pronounce it is really close to how I’ve been pronouncing it… good for me! Hahaha, anyway, I loved the story of how he got his name, that was excellent =P
See you guys next week! BEYOND! BLOGCAST!
SHUUU!
Why did you have to name the sho Mad About Shu? Now i can’t get Berlinda Carlisle’s timeless pop classic Mad About You out of my head! I’m embarrassed now too!
