  • TMNT, Yuss!!!

  • I don’t seem to get the Dead Nation on the Vita. It still has the 7.99 price, I picked DN on PS3 as one of the games after the PSN hack.

  • It’s just unacceptable to release a chess game without real time multiplayer. Why that decision was made is very hard to understand. The devs would make a TON of money if they released an insanely popular game that you can actually play against other people, like you’re supposed to. The single player is fun for a bit, but chess is about playing against other people and I’m not going to buy a game that can’t do that.

  • Where’s the Killzone Mercenaries botzone addon?

    • Due to unforeseen processing issues, the Killzone Mercenary Botzone Soldier Training Pack has been delayed until this evening (4/15). Content should be available by 8pm PT. We apologize for this inconvenience.

  • OK, not the Easter sale i was expecting but im grabbing Trine 2 and downloading the demo for lego games, maybe i will pick one later.. ty :)

  • When are we getting HBO go for the PS4?

  • If I buy the dead nation vita version, will I get the ps3 version too????

  • And the new dlc of killzone mercenary, releasing botzone. What happened???

  • Square Enix: no thanks about paying you a subscription. We have enough with PS Plus, and even if I didn’t have to pay for that I wouldn’t pay monthly money to you to have my life sucked up completely to get my money’s worth out of a mmorpg.

    Waiting for FF XV.

  • “We”. Not sure who this we is. I pay the sub. Totally worth it. I LOVE the game.

  • The Ragnarok Odyssey ACE DLC is listed here, but isn’t up on the store yet.
Seems like there are a few issues this week.

  • The Trials demo is nowhere to be found. The only link for it is under Games -> New -> Demos however it only goes to buying the game, and gives you no way to download the demo…

  • Ugh… I just realized that I got Dead Nation free with a different account after the PSN outage. Oh well. That one account thing on Vita is very annoying.

  • Does EA Sports 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil brings the Brazilian Portuguese commentary? Or is it exclusive for those who buy the disc on Brazil?

  • also beyond two souls is full price ? you can get it brand new for 30$ or less if you buy used but like new.

  • Thanks a bunch for Dead Nation (and for getting rid of that icon limit!!)!

Any chance that the Genesis version of Castle of will be available for people who had already purchased the game earlier?

By the way, Castle of Illusion would make a perfect Vita game.

  • @KingXtreme81 Good luck getting anything that even remotely resembles “actual dialog” from any Sony rep, including those who respond to these blog comments. They’re not interested in anything of the sort and you can find proof of this week after week.

Now on the other hand, if you told them that you cat loves sleeping on your PS3 because it’s warm I’m sure they’d respond to that… They’ll always respond to the pointless posts and utterly ignore anything that might be a legitimate question.

They’re basically useless IMO, nothing but mouthpieces for the Sony promotional team.

  • Hey Grace, the URL for the Punchtime Explosion link is wrong.

  • Yaaay!
    Trials Fusion demo is on!

  • Just wondering any info on when will The Elder Scrolls Online beta be available for Ps4?

  • I should say Botzone coming out today is the Shiznit

  • I too am looking forward to buying the Killzone Mercenary botzone add-on. I hope it wasn’t delayed.

  • Think I may give Castle of Illusion a try. I’m disappointed in the prices of some of the digital games like Beyond: Two Souls. If you want people to go more digital Sony and M$ then you guys need to give better incentives then throwing a 6+ month game on for $59.99. I can get Beyond brand new physical copy for $22-30 right now. Spend the $60 on the digital or save $30-40 on a brand new physical copy. You hear what I’m saying Sony.

  • My internet is down… Noooooooooooooooooo!! D:

  • I bought Dead Nation way back on Nov. 30th, 2010, but since Sony keeps repackaging it over and over it’s causing problems. The PS Store won’t let me redownload Dead Nation or any of its content without purchasing again. What gives Sony?

  • @75 I have the same problem.

  • HI, i’m trying to download the Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, but when I click it, it says: this game it’s free to PSN Plus users, i’m a PSN PLUSmenber , but if I click OK, it ask to pay 19,99 for the game. Whats going on? Can someone help me please? Thanks.
PS: The other PSN PLUS free games are normal, i can download new free games, the ony problematic one is Monster Hunter Freedom Unite

  • Beyond Two Souls for $59.99 is the only good deal i see.

  • Why do Vita and PS3 games get discounted to the same price, when the Vita game is usually cheaper at full price? I feel like someone is deliberately trying to push people to buy the console versions of game, and it’s starting to annoy me since I love my Vita and wish we got the same love the consoles got.

  • eu psn easter sale runs 4/9-4/30

    30+ vita games
    70+ ps3 games

us psn easter sale: garbage 3ds lego ports and chess?

epic fail for US psn for easter when compared to its counterpart across the pond.

    chris howe, we need you!

the US psn sales staff is atrocious. dare i say complacent.

members are too agreeable/apologetic to speak up.

this pathetic easter sale is the best representation of how they dont take their jobs seriously.

week in and week out, the US psn has paltry sales if any. last week 9 leftovers from weeks past somehow qualifies as games on sale?

while EU psn has a plethora of quality titles and sales to boot every week.

they should be on par with one another.

how is it that the us psn is standardly 10 steps behind eu psn, yet somehow sales staff are still allowed to cash their paycheck?

is not doing your job and being complacent a prerequisite to getting job security?

what did US psn do for easter? they tossed a bunch of poorly ported lego games and ps4 chess onto the floor and said eat up.

what did EU psn do? 100+ titles across both ps3/vita. majority being retail titles but all titles regardless were quality.

    nuff said?

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles out of the Shadows is out but theres no demo. redfly said the demo would come out with the game so why no demo?

  • If you’ve been in the fence for BurgerTime: World Tour, GET IT NOW. From MonkeyPaw Games’ Twitter…

“BurgerTime World Tour got a notice the liscense is expiring. On April 30 it will be taken down for sale. Should still be able to DL purchase”

“As a result, we dropped the price to $4.99 until April 30th. Snack on BurgerTime while you still can”

So, then, I finally have what to couple with my PS3 purchase of Child of Light. As well all these freebies. Conception II stuff, Ragnarok Odyssey ACE stuff (be aware this and the previous batch of free add-ons don’t act the way Cross-Buy does, so you’ll need to add both versions to your cart), the Second Son soundtrack, not to mention the Plus freebies like the Castle of Illusion pack (already had the main game, but skimped on pre-purchasing), disturbing avatars, and…the Warframe Starter Pack again? Whatevz, I’ll take it.

  • PLEASE SPECIFY THE PLATFORM when you list the Sale, Other Sale and Price Changes. So often I get excited after spotting a title I am interested in the blog post, only to be disappointed when visiting the store and finding out that it is for Vita or other platform. (The lowlight of the week: Trine 2 at $5.99. I thought that’s the PS4 version but was sadly disappointed.)

While some titles are obvious, many games are multi-platform and are not. Is it that difficult for you to do a little bit more work, find out what platforms they are exactly and add it to your post? I know I can check the platform at the store itself, but then what’s the point of having this blog post?

    So I repeat…
    PLEASE SPECIFY THE PLATFORM
    PLEASE SPECIFY THE PLATFORM
    PLEASE SPECIFY THE PLATFORM
    PLEASE SPECIFY THE PLATFORM
    PLEASE SPECIFY THE PLATFORM

  • @59 FFXIV was great you should give it a try

  • What’s up with the Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends Complete Edition for PS4 and Vita DLC? They were suppose to be free if you had bought them for Dynasty Warriors 8 on PS3 yet the store want me to buy them.

  • Oh, and the new “No Heroes Allowed!” game, though slipped my mind because of not having either of the current Sony systems.

But, I repeat: BURGERTIME: WORLD TOUR WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE AFTER APRIL 30! Get it while you can!

  • everyone! contact kaz hirai twitter account NOW! and ask him why eu gets a stunning easter sale and the us has one of the worst easter sales on record. at least he will make an effort to explain this debacle.

the blog doesnt listen/respond/address issues of concern. oh, i bet they listen, they just dont hear.

they post to their twitter accounts more then they address issues on the blog!

i bet they brag about working for playstation while they do nothing to garner any respect in the field. meanwhile on twitter they spend more time twiddling their thumbs tweeting then actually doing their job at playstation.

apparently making the consumer proud of their service isnt of any concern to them.

yet somehow cashing their unearned paychecks qualifies as i did my job for the week? hmmm….

  • Bet they will do a flash sale this weekend

  • Where is the Easter Sales that it seems like every other country is having?

  • On the store (web and on PS3), you have Burgertime World Tour DEMO (free) listed under the sale instead of the actual game ($4.99).

  • Am I still eligible for the Castle of Illusion Special Bundle if I already bought the game in the past?

  • Picked up Conception 2, but wait if we already bought Castle of Illusion please tell me we get the Sega Genesis game free as well? I’m kinda getting tired of companies screwing over their early adopters….

  • @ The_Tuck

Awesome avatar. I had no clue there was a Gun.Smoke avatar. Not that I ever look at avatars in the store, but…

    @TJF588

Thanks for drawing attention to the BurgerTime deal. It’s fun for those who enjoyed the original (I enjoyed it), but I highly doubt the nu-gamers will be interested, because, well, the graphics aren’t ultra premium high-definition 2160p with a zillion polygons per character. Anyone who actually plays games for fun should like it, though… if they can get beyond the minimalist presentation with an understanding that not every game can, or has to, look like The Last Of Us.

TMNT: OOTS and the Backgammon demo for me, thanks Sony!

  • @ MVC2Fighter

When did you buy it? If you pre-ordered it, you should have received the Genesis game already.

  • PLEASE SPECIFY THE PLATFORM NEXT TO THE GAMES ON SALE. PLEASE. Why is that so hard to include? You have 4 platforms (including PSP) that get games weekly and it can be very confusing

  • I bought castle of illusion not long ago during a sale but the extras included makes this good for me,it’s a good game. FFXIV is awesome and i’ll resub to it soon,it’s worth the money easily compared to other things you could spend $15 on. I’ll sock away dead nation vita which is a great addition to vita,i’ll try it when i get one later. I may get burgerworld since it’s being delisted and i remember playing the original also. Overall it’s a weak update with nothing to buy for me besides FFXIV,i already bought ps3 version at launch. I’ll wait for the new Home update and see if something catches my eye there in the morning.

  • I bought it Day One. I didn’t get any Genesis Game. My buddy pre ordered it but he didn’t get the Genesis game either. I mean either way we bought the damn game, I feel that they should give their early adopters something. Hell, with Skullgirls, we got Encore for free simply because we bought it early.

  • So I take it, the people that picked up Dead Nation after the PSN outage are not eligible to get the Vita version for free.

  • @ MVC2Fighter

I pre-ordered it too, and I got all the bonuses just fine. Are you sure you didn’t get them? Have you double-checked your download list?
