  • The bonus PSN promotion version of Castle of Illusion and dynamic theme that was offered to preorders is available to plus customers for a limited time. I bought a few months ago during a sale but the theme and genesis version is something for me to get, bonus genesis psn promo version of castle of illusion doesn’t have trophies btw but that’s ok since it’s free.

  • I don’t buy Plus. I don’t buy enough stuff off the store nor play online enough to justify paying for it, but I can see the benefits of having it. I just feel the people who have purchased the game be it pre order or not should get the Genesis game but hey that’s just me.

  • @suckafish666, I got my Dead Nation PS3 version for free as part of the Welcome Back package after the PSN outage. Now I do get the Vita version for free. Too bad it was another account that does not have a Vita associated to it :( This single account on a Vita policy is ridiculous.

  • Man, I wonder what the Playstation 4 will look and play like! Oh our imagination goes everywhere!

  • As grateful as I am for the free soundtrack set for Infamous, it’s absolutely horrible that you cannot copy this over to iTunes or something else. I’m now forced to exclusively listen to this soundtrack on my PS4 in an application that’s limited to only playing the soundtrack for Infamous Second Sons. That’s a pretty horrible execution….

  • Is pixeljunk Monsters Deluxe still on board for the instant game collection??

  • @Link01, So that’s how the soundtrack works – it’s an app that does nothing but play the soundtrack!? Geez, I was wondering how they put the soundtrack on the PS4 when the PS4 doesn’t play MP3 or any music file. Totally lame.

  • Is this update a joke? Its like every time I come hoping that something worth it will be released on ps4 all that’s dropped is total crap. I didn’t spend over $500 to be stuck with no new features or worth while games or content. Like seriously how long are you guys gonna push dead nation on to us? It was free on ps3 free on ps4 now $8 on vita? Worst releases ever. Five months ago Sony said they planned on releasing firmware to run mp3s dlna and all those things my ps3 could do flawlessly but my $435 upgrade can’t do half of. Try caring about your fans and consumers for once.

  • @nemisis666
    I totally agree

  • These sales are cool now I gotta see what to get trials looks amazing!!!!!!

  • Oh wow so last weeks Final Fantasy 14 “free to download” thing was just a trial…

I thought I could sub up and that without having to shell out the $40. That’s a shame I was pretty excited.

  • Beyond: Two Souls $60 ??? oh wow, I didn’t now that game was having its debut TODAY? Heck, I didn’t know the game included a whole expansion and DLC and stuff….oh, no it doesn’t? Wait, so you mean this is the actual 7 month old game that’s been selling for less than $30 for a long while now? C’mon Sony, what kind of joke is this?

  • @Snakeeyes112
glad I’m not alone on this. Just sick of all the waiting for something worth it. All we get is re releases of pc ports and ps3 ports. No word on the firmware announced in March that has useless updates for hdmi streaming still. No word at all since November about mp3 support and dlna. Honestly think its just so people are forced to pay a subscription to listen to music instead of allowing free use of our own music. Seems a little lazy to keep giving us games we could get elsewhere for cheaper with the same content. Ie tlou tomb raider GTA5 presumably. ac4 bf4 ghosts. all false next gen games.

  • I downloaded the Infamous Second Son soundtrack on my PS4 seeing that it was free, but then when I went to install it I got a message saying it can only be started by a user who has a license to it. But I’m the sole owner! What gives Sony? Can you fix this?

  • Any word on how can we get the castle of illusion genesis bonus if we already bought it during the last sale a few months ago. I don’t want to risk my license getting overridin just for a genesis game. It would be helpful if Sony would actually comment on this.

  • @102 plus is perfect for you since you don’t buy a lot of games off the store you get them for $50 a year and they stack if you keep your membership going.

Plus is a problem for someone like me who buys tons of games a year I buy them well before they become free and we don’t get enough sale items or day 1 discounts.

  • I guess you could add “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” to PS VITA?????????

  • If I purchase pure chess and backgammon blitz for ps3 can I also play it on the ps4 for no additional purchase?

  • I can’t sign into the WWE Network app at all. Is that your department or would I have to contact WWE tech support?

  • how come i purchased Dead Nation almost 3 years ago, but now that i want to download the vita version, it says i have to purchase it??

  • when will i be able to buy the crash series in my vita ? really want those ps1 classics.

  • So I’ve been waiting for trials fusion to come out on the playstation store all day and nothing pops up, what’s with that? I’m in Australia and it’s the 16th here, any help on when it will be released down here?

  • When will we get some new avatars on ps4? Its kinda lame using ones that are 8 years old from ps3.

  • Darksiders 2 for $39.99 from defunct THQ is very off base. Good luck selling that at that price. Much of the pricing on some items beggars belief based on age and the popularity or perceived value of the content.

It would make more sense to sell items based on what is going to actually sell, instead of this slow dropping of prices that are still often upwards of double or triple that of retail. Or alternatively to keep offering the same exact low value items over and over in a form of ongoing spam.

It’s great that the prices are updated, but it’s bizzare that a game from THQ which has been bankrupt for the more than/better part of the year is still asking that kind of price. Why sell 40 copies at 39.99 when perhaps at a compelling price 10 – 20 you could sell thousands or more.

  • Beyond Two Celebrities is also criminally priced at 59.99. $39.99 or less may have gotten some takers, even at half off I would balk I think. $19.99 retail and i’ll pick it up. I payed full price for Heavy Rain which I preordered (the taxidermist dlc was creepy) I really enjoyed that game and did not regret it. Two Souls looks wierd, but still interesting from a character story side. My opinion obviously. Just to say I am not a hater of Quantic Dream, it’s just odd to charge full pop at this point.

Then again Last of Us double dip edition for ps4 is 69.99 digitally here in Canada on the preorder and no comment for those that bought at launch. I will just keep my ps3 version. The trailer was not a big deal for the supposed higher look. The frame rate and controller certainly will be a big boost, as with the included dlc but still a tough one. A fair deal for those that missed it though and I do not begrudge them releasing a port for ps4. The dlc helps with it being old somewhat.

As always I guess they charge what they think they can get in meaningfull unit sales.

  • Does Final Fantasy XIV include the first month free like most MMOs? PSN store doesn’t mention it. It just states that a membership is required.

  • inFAMOUS Second Son Official Soundtrack (PS4, Free)

Are you sure? It’s coming up as $9.99 for me!

  • Alright so when I go to this site:https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/#!/en-us/games/trials-fusion-digital-deluxe-edition/cid=UP0001-CUSA00304_00-B000000000000303
It comes up with trials fusion and it say add to cart, I press that and it asks me to login, so I do, after I log in it loads then says, page not found! What’s up with that is it some sort of glitch, please help me!

  • Aw man! I want that Electro-Proof suit, but I already pre-ordered at Gamestop! Well, at least I get 4 extra suits instead of one…

  • Hi! It will be great to see in PS1 Classic-Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets published by EA Games(Developer-Argonaut Games)There was a special version for PS1 of this 2 games. There are a lot people who will wanted to play them again. Can you release them pls?! :)

  • No Easter sale? What a letdown…

  • I can’t find Dark Souls 1 anywhere at the store although i found the DLC
Will the game ever be added ?

  • For the future, it would be nice if I didn’t have to navigate the store to verify that sales such as the Trine 2 listing above don’t count for the PS4 version. Can you please list which versions are being described for each line item?

  • @ MVC2Fighter

I’m in the same boat with not getting the Genesis version of Castle of Illusion because I bought the game a while ago.

I wonder if this is because of a glitch that is causing games to appear as not purchased on the PSN store even though they are in my download list. I’ve noticed that some games I’ve purchased are asking me to pay if I want to download directly from the store (eg. Sound Shapes). I’ve noticed that games sometimes vanish from my download list and then later reappear as well, but this time it is only the store.

I can’t download Castle of Illusion from the store directly because it is not appearing as “purchased”, so maybe that’s why I can’t get the Genesis game. Is yours appearing as purchased, or is it asking for money again?

  • Backgammon Blitz isn’t cross-buy?!?!?! I guess that means it’s NO buy for me.

  • Lame for those who already bought Castle of Illusion and now can’t get the Genesis version.

Lame for those (like me) who pre-ordered the game because we were told the bonus items (including the Genesis version) would not be available after the pre-order, which is now clearly not true.

    Why the deception?

  • Why is Backgammon Blitz not cross buy or bundled. $7.99 for each console……..that’s steep

  • Will “The Sly Trilogy” be released for the USA?

  • It says:

“Dead Nation: Road of Devastation ($3.99, Cross Buy with PS3)”

But i can’t download the DLC on the Vita after buying it for PS3-Version. Fix this please.

  • Can’t believe I won’t be ble to get that Sega Genesis version of the Mickey game…thats really unfair like for real…..anyway this is a good update…demo of Gammon,Dead Nation for free on my Vita,THAT Mercenary botzone…and look the DC pack for Vita is out…why we had not any notice about this?…didn’t see it coming…great news.Didn’t had time to go to the Store yesterday so I hope those Ninja Turtles avatars are nice.

  • @ 103 GummyCore – WTF?…I just remembered that I’m the same situation…damn I ain’t getting no Dead Nation for free on my Vita….thats f***ed up.

    @ 136 samv33 – I feel ya bro…I feel ya.

  • That last update was a disgrace Sony! I can’t believe that you guys are this lazy with no demos and if they are demos they suck! I want to play games that are not out yet demos??? Does that ring your bell I mean really you guys are slacking off! PAX was just on and they got a ton of new material we didn’t get ^it! Quit sucking up to the PS4 owners only! I see the PSN its a joke with no new Demos or what I was hoping to see in 2014! Demos like Murdered Soul Suspect etc, and those games that the Plus members get Demos Sony not the full game! Seriously is that to much to ask you I mean really!

  • And no demos for that TMNTS game so 9tupid Sony! More demos but new ones I mean seriously your joining my freetime off! =(

  • When will we be able to pre-order games like Wolfenstein & Watch Dogs on the PlayStation store? They come out in about a month.

  • Okay, why is the PS Vita DC Level Kit not Cross-Buy? It was insinuated on the PSN that those who bought the PS3 version would be able to download the Vita version once it had been released. That’s the only reason I bought it.

  • I wish the app updates were patch updates, not just what’s new. The crunchyroll app crashes a lot and they haven’t update the app since I started using it. Now that they have the app on ps4 and vita they will probably just forget about the ps3.

  • I hope Conception 1, FFVII: Crisis Core and Brave Fencer Musashi will be made available for PSP/PS Vita soon.

  • redfly said TMNT OOTS would have a demo. Where is it?

  • For those of you like me who want to grab the Castle of Illusion Genesis PSN promo. Here’s what i did i went to the playstation plus section in the store even tho i purchased the game on christmas eve the castle of illusion bundle came up as Download. I clicked on it and it started the castle of illusion download as well as the theme. I sent the castle of illusion download to DL into the backround then exited out of the store and went to DL management and canceled the DL of castle of illusion and only let the genesis version of castle of illusion finish DL. I went to my games folder and i still retain the original permenant license to the new Castle of illusion which doesn’t expire for me.
