i really wish injustice was cheaper, or at least cheaper for plus members. my prediction is injustice will go on sale now and then drop in price just like it did before, hopefully. arkham origins is $25 at best buy, too. kind of too late for that game though.

looking forward to trying soulcalibur for free, though :)

Octodad is 9.99 on Steam this week. The PS+ discount should be AT LEAST that price.

Sad to see the US got no decent Easter sale. My Vita could use some good discounts since PS+ sucks this month on that platform

With no acknowledgement from SCEA that crash, spyro, and many others (correct me if I’m wrong, but seemingly every psp/ps1 title that had previously been NA-region-excluded on the Vita) have become downloadable: one has to wonder if this happening was intentional or not. The fact that said titles only appear in player’s download lists without being available in the vita’s store only compounds the confusion.

I can see only three outcomes:
1. It was intentional. Sony will make an announcement on the issue once they upload the titles to the NA vita store
2.It was an error, malfunction, or hack. Sony will remove the titles from NA download lists and since they can’t go in and delete the games off individual consoles they may or may not provide compensation to disappointed users
3. It was intentional. Sony, however, has no intention of making an announcement. They may feel that such a public statement would, indirectly, remind users and potential users that it took SCEA 2 years to get the full list of titles onto NA consoles; and that by extension the titles do not perform on ps4.

I completely agree. Worse yet, avatar editing is STILL limited to the PS3 ONLY. Why can’t we download our avatars to our PS4s and Vitas instead?

Here are some avatars I’d like to see:

–BlazBlue
–Conception 2
–Hyperdimension Neptun-oh wait….Good on you, NISA.
–Persona 3/4
–Wild ARMs
–Ys: Memories of Celceta
–Soul Sacrifice

Notice how all of the games I just listed are Japanese and/or Vita games. And it just occured to me that I just listed them all in ABC order (except SS), which was completely unintentional.

Did you guys really allow Crash, Spyro and other PS1 titles to work on our Vitas right after having a flash sale for said games????

Who the hell thought that was a good idea not to announce that? I would have purchased all of them. I repeat ALL OF THEM had we been told they would work with our Vitas. This is crap!

I refused to buy them because Sony has been so quiet about why we can’t play them on Vita. You guys really suck at communicating with your consumers. This really shouldn’t have happened like this. It’s really unfair to those that have been asking for the last 2 years for those games to work.

I want someone to answer me why you waited until after a sale to give us access. Again without telling ANYONE.

I remember disliking Cel Damage, but 3 way crossbuy should be commended every time, as should 4 player couch multiplayer.
I can’t wait to:
A) Play Octodad for myself, and
B) Explain Octodad to other people.

Starlight looks like the next best thing to Colony Wars on my Vita, but when I’m done FFX, Walking Dead Season 2 will be my next purchase. I played the crap out of Crash Bandicoot 1, 2 and 3 when they were new, and never owned them myself. After this week’s sale, I’ve got them all, as well as Spyro, and now they work on my Vita!! I know Bust-A-Move 4 is on the horizon, too. This is an awesome time to have a Vita, man.

I can’t help but think the price and size of the Vita’s memory card is the only thing holding it back, and as a Vita owner, I want the Vita to do well, and for as many people as possible to enjoy it as much as I am.

+ Cinderkin on April 22nd, 2014 at 3:18 pm said:

@90 TALLglassofWATER

I read your post. I’m really frustrated with Sony right now. I would have bought all of those games if they worked on Vita (I already own them all on disc for PS1) meaning I already have access to playing them on my TV via my PS1 (PS2 or PS3) The Vita was the only reason stopping me from buying them again.

The flash sale over the weekend would have been the perfect time to grab them all digitally (again I already own them all on disc) for a decent price, but for the last 2 years we’ve been ignored in our requests to get them playable on Vita. Now the sale is over and all of a sudden the games work on Vita. Are they serious????

Sony needs to put these games back on sale (for $1 again) simply for not telling anyone that they work on the Vita. Horrible communication by Sony. Sometimes I wonder why they even have a blog. The people that work here rarely ever answer (legitimate) questions or concerns. They either post ridiculous emotes or links to Sony Support.

I’d hope that in the future Sony would actually hire community employees that actually engage the community.

/rant.
