Next month PlayStation Plus members will receive several games as part of their membership including Stick it to the Man! on PS4, Puppeteer, PES 2014 and Skullgirls Encore on PlayStation 3, and Limbo and Surge Deluxe on PS Vita. Several of these titles are a visual treat, boasting distinct, vibrant art styles.
Stick it to the Man! is a mix of point and click adventure puzzles plus a bit of platforming, and the animation-inspired art style is really slick. You’ll solve problems as Ray, a regular guy who wakes up one day with a giant pink hand floating out of his head. This pink hand gives him the ability to read people’s minds and grab stickers from their thoughts to use in the world.
On PS3 members will receive three very different titles: the award-winning, uber-charming platformer Puppeteer, the popular soccer simulator Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 and the indie-darling fighter with a crazy roster, Skullgirls Encore. Puppeteer is a visual treat that follows the story of a boy named Kutaro who gets turned into a puppet by the evil Moon Bear King (great name) and loses his head. After the transformation Kutaro must borrow other heads and use his fancy new pair of scissors to navigate the world and return home (preferably with his original head). Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 allows you to play as your favorite soccer team and pit them against teams from around the globe. The improved FOX Engine means that the soccer ball will be much more fluid than previous PES games. The 2D fighter Skullgirls Encore houses a bunch of wacky characters, each with their own unique attack style. The Encore version has new systems, balance updates, stages and music and a few new characters to mess around with.
PS Vita owners will get to download Surge Deluxe, an intense color-matching title and the critically-acclaimed puzzle platformer Limbo. The action in Surge Deluxe heats up quickly as you chain together color-coordinated blocks. The faster you move the more likely you are to be successful — taking too long means the pressure will build up in the pipes surrounding the screen and BOOM! Game over. If you haven’t played Limbo yet you’ll be in for a real treat when it comes to the Instant Game Collection for PS Vita. Limbo’s haunting atmosphere, intriguing puzzles and vague narrative make this a game you’ll remember for a long time.

I have to say, I must agree with the people say that this month isn’t good. I’m knew Puppeteer will be free eventually. Glad it was until now than sooner, at least my $7.50 wasn’t a complete waste. Anyone who owns the original Skullgirls would have gotten Encore for free anyway. Also, the Vita selection isn’t great. Just like the same quality of this month. I’m going to stick with my 2DS for the time being, so wake me up when May ends.
@Welmosca Shut up and stop complaining that Puppeteer is free. That was a couple of months ago and free in Europe too. Still hope that clicker bites you, it hurts just as your words do.

Already played and beat the fantastic Limbo on PC, but anyone that hasn’t played it yet should do so asap. Well worth the couple hours it takes.
The rest of the month is lame, but that doesn’t matter. I’ll have Puppeteer to keep me happy until June.

Puppeteer is a nice game (bought on sale some time ago, like almost every game on IGC). For the rest, it is interesting to see a Football game up here, although it is not my kind of game. But, in the sense that IGC should be a good deal for everyone, it is a nice one, while not much helpful. All my friends play Fifa.

Some great games this month, though I already own almost all of them. Glad to see Puppeteer on there; that’s a wonderful platformer that not enough people gave a chance.
A lot of great games this month, but not a lot for me personally. I already have Limbo and Puppeteer, and no interest in fighters or sports games… I’ll grab Surge Deluxe but I don’t know if I’ll ever find time to play it. Not really a genre I’m super interested in.
And Stick it to the Man! on PS4, huh? Was hoping for one of the more action-oriented upcoming indies, like Secret Ponchos or Helldivers, but I’ll take what I can get. Still working on Dead Nation and Mercenary Kings, as well as my already developed backlog of retail games.
Good month, but definitely not for everyone. Looking forward to the regular releases later in the month (BL2 on Vita, Drakengard 3, Watch_Dogs, Sly Collection on Vita, Transistor, etc.)

I’m really not a fighting game fan, but I’m still looking forward to Skullgirls Encore. It looks like an interesting take on the genre, and I liked the demo of the original well enough. You won’t find me online with it, as I’m sure I’d be creamed by novices, but I look forward to trying it out and having some fun with it.
Puppeteer, though – that looks AWESOME, and I’m looking forward to it. Good call, Sony.

I’m glad I didn’t bite on those Puppeteer sales a few months ago, or this month would be a complete waste. Terrible month for vita. A $5 puzzle game and Limbo, which has been on sale for $3.75 multiple times. I don’t care though because I care more for plus discounts than the IGC anyway. I’d prefer to see a vita rpg sale this month especially on Mystic Chronicles and Sorcery Saga. Also thanks Sony for giving the vita support for all PS1/PSP games for a whole day, that was nice. I’m glad I downloaded Silent Hill before you removed the support.

There are thousands of people who enjoy these games so if they are not your cup of tea, please keep your immature whining to yourself. You can always open up a European account, join PS+, and download those games. You want another game that’s not available to you? How about you actually BUY it instead of begging? Whoever moderates this page just consider deleting those selfish comments, PLEASE.
Now that I have that off my chest, thank you Sony for another solid month. Variety is well appreciated. My daughter loved the Puppeteer demo but it was a bit too tough for her, now she can play it at her own pace.
I’ve been wanting Surge Deluxe but I may want to keep it and don’t want to miss out on a discount. You should allow purchasing IGC games during membership.

Granted I can never complain about getting games, but the only thing I see remotely intriguing is puppeteer,
and even then my mind isn’t blown. Hopefully I’ll be too busy in May to fall back on any of these games.
Thank you Sony for the free games every month. I was satisfied in 2011, when you guys were offerings free PS1 and Minis games. Now, thanks to AAA titles you make available, PlayStation Plus is a must have for very PlayStation owner. While I’m not interested in every game you’ve made free over the years, I appreciate the variety of genres, the discounts, and the service overall. Thanks!
I must admit I’m not too thrilled with the PS Vita titles. I really wanted to play Murasama Rebirth like EU is getting.
Oh well maybe some other time. I tried the Limbo demo when it first came out for PS3, I have a feeling I’ll stink at the game itself even worse. Does it have touch controls? Because that might make it even harder.
I guess soccer fans might like soccer (or sport game fans in general) but….. not sure if it’s something I’d download.
Skullgirls encore might be fun. Though again I’m bad at it. I wonder if the online has plenty of players (or are they all so good they’d just trounce me quickly)

So far worst PS+ month since I subscribed. Not interested in Stick it to the man. Bought puppeteer during that $8 sale. This is the US they should have given out a football game or basketball game if your going to give out a sports game. Last time I remember playing a soccer game is when Mega Man Soccer came out.

Unfortunately there isn’t much for me this month, though I might try out Puppeteer. Dead Nation was a good PS4 Plus game but nothing has been able to quite compare yet to Outlast :) arguably the best PS Plus game EVER :) looking forward to Daylight in just FIVE DAYS!!!! ;)

When will you start to gives up cool games on vita likes what they get for IGC in Europe? (muramasa, Silent hill, Littleking, katamari,)

Everyone needs to be aware that you SHOULD NOT BUY the PS3 at SEARS or COSTCO that is advertising a “free one year of Playstation Plus membership”. I bought one for the membership and when I opened the box I found the code for the free one year membership is expired!
I contacted Sony Customer Care, they asked me to send proof of purchase and the expired code voucher … and they just sent me a response… REFUSING TO HONOR THE ONE YEAR OF FREE MEMBERSHIP!
Sony and their retail partners are advertising an expired benefit !!! Shame on Sony and the retailers…!

It is about time we get a great sports title instead of all these shooters. I have been loving the puzzle and adventure games, but I have a whole host of shooters I will never play. I have enjoyed the PES games for years, now we need The Show or the last NCAA game as a compliment.

Puppeteer is an amazing game. So unique and fun to play. My son and I had a wonderful time doing co-op. I highly recommend this game!!!!!!!
My God…why is it so hard to understand that not everyone enjoys 4 or so indie games every month? Not even close. And worst of all, the US Playstation guys really like throwing fighting games at us. I think it’s been like this since last year, when they simply threw at least 1 PSP/Vita fighting game every damn month. Isn’t it enough already?
You guys have to stagger your sales and free content in a better way no one wants to use their plus discount to buy a game on sale then only find out it is free 2 months later
Case in point Puppeteer brought it for $7.50 like so many and now its free give a full game 5 months before it can go from a certain low low price (< $12.99) to being free. You have got to work on your relationships with publishers we want better sales in the US and better organization of these sales.
So, Sony, It’s like you’re saying that I should stop pestering you about Vita and get a 3DS? Because Persona Q might be a system seller.
