This sale is fortuitous, as I was planning to pick up a retail copy of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection this month so I can play Peace Walker before playing Ground Zeroes. That would have been $30 on its own. The savings are mental!
Muramasa Rebirth is tempting, but I just don’t have the space on my Vita for it. I’ll end up getting a retail copy so as to save space. We really need the 64GB memory cards over here.
So it looks like I’ll be getting the Devil May Cry HD Collection, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Tales of Symphonia Chronicles and rain.
That’s 9 games for the insane price of $34.73. RIP my money.

It always links to a review of the game on another device. Why is this so difficult?? same with Chrono Cross?

+ MickaeL486: You may know this already, but Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross exist on the PS Store as PS1 Classics. They were never PS3 games themselves (though of course they do play on the PS3). Metacritic apparently doesn’t recognize PS1 Classics as being separate games, which makes sense in a way because they aren’t. There are 16 reviews available for the PS1 version of Chrono Cross, which is the exact same game you’ll find on the PS Store. The reviews are old and perhaps less relevant 14 years after the game’s release, but they should give you a general idea.
There are no reviews for Chrono Trigger on any PS device available on Metacritic, so I would look elsewhere. Keep in mind that the PS1 version was itself a re-release of the original SNES game.
Get those Tales games, PSPlus
my purchase estimates at $85 and that’s alot. You don’t get a chance to pay less for Japanese games this ften, but I’ll exploit this chance as much as I can. I am too hesitate to try out Altier series or Tales series.

I’m not seeing the sales on the PlayStation Store…am I missing something? I added Soul Calibur V to my cart and they are still saying it’s $19.99.
These sales are never active before the afternoon. Which is, coincidentally, the time I will be losing lots of money today.

Sony, While Playstation Plus is totally worth it, and these sales are amazing…You guys seriously need to pick a time each week that PSN will be updated, AND STICK TO THAT TIME. If you say every tuesday, Pick a specific time on tuesday, and then treat it as a deadline.
This is one of your guy’s big flaws. This is one of the reasons people still say your online network sucks compared to Xbox Live. Live updates the same time, ever week. And in this instance…People are correct. In other aspects, you guys are better. But the sentiment is wide spread, and stuff like this does not help.
Many of us are sitting here, with cash in hand ready to hand you money….But we can’t, because you have chosen to not set a strict time for us to know when PSN updates.

I totally agree that there should be a set time for these updates. I’m all ready to lay down some money for Metal Gear Rising and the Metal Gear Solid HD collection. They’re over 40 gigs combined. I want to start downloading them before I have to go to my afternoon/evening classes, but if the store doesn’t update in the next two hours, I can’t do that. It can be pretty frustrating not knowing when the store will update. :(

I have Playstation Plus, but the PS Plus prices are not showing on the Vita store =[ It seems like the sale prices have posted because Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross are now $4.99 instead of $9.99 But of course I would rather buy them for $3.49 since I’m a PS Plus member.

Seems like the sale is live now however the PlayStation Plus deals are still a no show. Why can’t PlayStation just update at midnight? Instead of gradually throughout the day, its pretty annoying.

I think someone has to go into each file, hand edit, and save. And a few weeks ago that guy was apparently out of the office.
