  • Steven, you should seek employment elsewhere. Wouldn’t you rather have a full-time job that pays well, is a good use of your time and is something you can be proud of? JUST working for MM isn’t something to be proud of if they just have you posting cash-grabs every other week. These posts are ridiculous. They don’t belong here. You can do better than this.

  • StevenI is doing what he loves I’m sure. He’s been doing this same thing years before MM even hired him. I remember him posting in the LBPworkshop forums several times a day on the latest LBP news. I’m sure StevenI isn’t just sitting around waiting to make his Blog post every week. He’s doing tons of stuff as a community manager behind the scenes. MM is a great bunch, I’ve met a couple of them at an LBP Meet Up. Most companies make like 3 DLC packs and stop supporting their game but MM has continued support for LBP. You say cash grabs, but more often than not, he’s on here supporting the community, featuring community picks even when there’s no DLC. He even tweeted my LBP dragon one day randomly, something he wouldn’t have seen unless he was in the commmunity forums just looking at stuff.

    • Haha, that’s very true. I love doing these blog posts for the community but they’re definitely just one piece of a much bigger puzzle.

We just recently released the DC Comics Premium Level Pack for LBP PS Vita and that’s certainly not the only creative content we have planned for LittleBigPlanet this year. :)

  • What isn’t a cash grab? When Naughty Dog and Sony released Last of Us, was it not with the intent of making money? Were they some angelic force of magic just pumping out a AAA game with no expectation of gaining something in return?

First and foremost, video games are a business. Without the “grabbing of cash” or profit for companies, you get no games.

  • @1 – wow, what an offensive post. I appreciate the reminders that there’s new stuff constantly coming out for this older game, that keeps it fresher than most things I’ve had on my shelf this long. If you’re tired of it, just skip these posts.

The shooter level looks awesome. I keep forgetting how much stuff is out there for LPB2 – I don’t fire it up nearly often enough. Maybe I’ll get my kids off their current Minecraft kick for some group play on LBP2 again. I love that this long after the release, there still *IS* new content and new updates, whether for-sale or community-generated. It’s awesome!!

    • That’s exactly why I love doing these blog posts!
We have such an amazing community regularly creating games like this and we want all of you to be able to see them!

  • week after week pantheman16 has nothing good to say. idk why he even bothers posting. we all love lbp and i always look forward in seeing whats coming to lbp. i dont mind spending cash on lbp cause its something i love. but hate when i see someone like pantheman posting negative stuff. if u got nothig good to post dont post at all. ur rants is just a waste of space. steven does his job, guessing its something he enjoys doing, like the rest of us. so steven dont pay attention to the first comment, we all look forward to our lbp updates :D

  • This is not “supporting the community”. This is someone sitting there for a half hour to make a new costume that a few people will buy. It didn’t take up any of MM’s resources to do it.
Support would be real DLC packs. Something that requires actual time, money and work and a certain level of risk (possible low sales). Yeah, it’s a business, but no, developers are not in it solely to make money. They NEED to make money, but they do what they love and are passionate about. If it’s just costumes that MM is going to be making, then it would only be supportive of the community if they were free. And considering that it’s essentially free for them to do it and takes very little time, they can certainly afford to hook people up. But either way, free or not, a costume for a years-old game should NOT be making headlines in the blog when costume DLC for new and current games doesn’t make it here and is only shown in the PS Store Update posts.

  • You may think you’re being noble by defending MM or going against me, but you’re just being naive and ignorant. I’m just being blunt. Of course, I could choose not to comment on these posts, but this is the truth that naive fans neglect to voice to MM. If enough people understood and spoke up, perhaps they’d be more inclined to provide something worthwhile. Or at least stop flaunting these relics on the Blog.

And yes, I know there are 12 of you who are actually going to buy this costume, but you are in the VAST minority and that certainly doesn’t justify these horrible, shameless cash-grabs.

  • Ha amazing…it was nice to see Sackboy in Joe Danger and after seeing that…I reckoned we could get a Joe Danger costume for LBP…..really cool costume, will be buying it.And also I gotta check that Void-Spectrum lvl…damn it looks great.

@ PanTheMan16 – Who are YOU to call people ignorant?….you’re ignorance itself.

    • We had a feeling he would be popular and we’ve been waiting to announce the costume since revealing that Sackboy would be in Joe Danger on PS Vita too. :)

  • @PanTheMan16, it doesn’t matter what anyone’s opinion is, you DON’T have the right to tell Steven where he should work and where he shouldn’t… Especially trying to make him feel shameful about the job he has! That just isn’t right and you should apologize whether you hate these blog posts or not.

I’m honestly still waiting for an update on LBP HUB, come on guys… Are you really going to keep us in the dark for another 6 months? That isn’t right. I know it’s not your fault Steven, but I’m sure you can at least tell the developers how neglected we’re feeling as fans? Everywhere you look… Youtube, twitter, LBP forums, etc. there’s people lost and confused if HUB is even in development still.

That’s not very good publicity and can leave a bad taste in some of our mouths. I’m just saying.

  • Awesome, I love Joe Danger. Def/ grabbing this. =D.

  • @PanTheMan16

I get tired of listening to your crap, it’s like your life mission to destroy this game and the goodness it stands for. What happened? Nobody wants to play with you on LBP2 and you have to take it out on us and Steven Isbell? I’m glad they’re still supporting this game and a BIG THANK YOU to Steve you keeps us updated on the wonderful things that are happening in the LBP2 community. This game will be around for forever, so you might as well give up on your anti-lbp campaign. When in the friggin” heck are we going to get LBP Hub? I feel like I’m gonna cry if news doesn’t soon. :((((((((((((((((

  • @11
I meant “I feel like I’m gonna cry if news doesn’t come soon ” in my last sentence for the grammar police like PanTheMan16.

  • I don’t usually comment on the LBP posts but I do read em. I love em, screw what people like the first comment says. Keep it up. I’m glad LBP get’s this support. I’m still hoping for a New LBP on PS4 seeing the ram limit on PS3 isn’t a issue on it and it can Run 1080p @60fps which would be awesome. I know it’ll eventually come.
BTW the main reason I ment to comment, I’ve been holding out on the DC stuff since I only wanted the Levels for the Vita. So I didn’t buy the season pass or the costumes. But I finally bought the DC levels on Vita. I have to say this is literally the best LBP add on EVER!!! I do hope previous addon’s for PS3 come to Vita (atleast the stuff like paint gun) so we can make stages with more ideas (I Still love LBP2 but play the Vita game more). Great work, keep it coming. PS4 hopefully sees LBP at E3 *wink* lmao. Thank you for the awesomeness, someone tell sony make a MNR for PS4 aswell :)

  • @PanTheMan16 it is wrong of you to come and post negative things about steve and the dlc that come out. First of all if Steve likes his job or not, its his decision. “support the community” means update on new levels and dlc, most of us like these updates and dont mind the blog post, if you dont like it, dont read it or even comment on it. The dlc is an option, either you buy it or not, it does not prevent you from playing the game, so it is not pointless because it is only for those who want it and you are not being force to buy. lastly, not everything is free in this world, it requires money.

  • Now a Joe Danger Premium Level Kit would be pretty cool to see. And even better a Oddworld one.

  • PactheMan16, can you get a life and stop complaining like a frickin’ baby every time they post LBP stuff?

  • PS4 could use some Sackboy loving.

Any hints Steven? My PS4 would benefit from having a character that doesn’t kill people for once lol

  • I love this costume. Great work!

Now… Knack and Puppeteer costumes please! I don’t know why we didn’t get them already. Both first party games, both would fit well with LBP’s aesthetic too.

  • anothernormalman

Just recently got lbp for the vita and I have been loving every second of it.

  • Where is the Joe Danger costume? The store already updated this week and it isn’t there
