Video Unlimited Highlights:

We have a great mixture of new releases available this week on the Video Unlimited service. See an epic demon battle in I, Frankenstein, watch Batman take on a new role in Son of Batman, and much more. See the full list of new releases below.

I, Frankenstein: Based on the graphic novel of the same name by Kevin Grevioux comes this present-day interpretation of one of the most famous horror stories of all time.

I,FrankensteinBlog-2

Set in a dystopian present, nearly two hundred years after Dr. Victor Frankenstein created the monster we learned to know and love, Adam (Aaron Eckhart) still roams the Earth. Adam finds himself in the middle of an epic battle between demons and gargoyles, only to discover that he holds the key to destroy humanity.

Son of Batman: In this adaptation of Grant Morrison’s comic series “Batman and Son,” the Dark Knight faces two major life-changing events: he has to save Gotham City from destruction while simultaneously raising a son.

Son of Batman available on 4/22

Batman’s son, Damian, was raised in secret by Ra’s al Ghul and the dangerous League of Assassins. After Deathstroke assassinates Ra’s al Ghul, Batman helps steer his son away from a criminal path as Damian seeks to take revenge.

  • Will we ever see MP3 support on PS4? ):

  • You guys are missing the season 2 premiere episode of Orphan Black!

  • The PlayStation community wants to put their own music on there PS4. Why hasn’t this been done yet?

  • I could care less about music unlimited. Where is the mp3 for ps4. i bought the system assuming it had it since the ps3 did and I got screwed

  • Everytime I ask this question no one from sony replies or comments. Shuhei Yoshida came out and said months ago it would be3 added so where is it? This is just a ploy to make people buy music unlimited.

  • If you guys are “listening” to our feedback about wanting mp3 and DLNA playback, where is an actual Sony statement about it?

  • They literally answer the only person not interested in PS4 media playback.

  • TrueRadiantFree

    The new Coldplay song though…

  • Loving the new songs from Michael, hope to see the delux edition up on release day to hear the original cuts.

    A couple of questions regarding the service;

    1. Is there any chance that we could get the ability to download playlists like on the PS Vita, and Android version of the service on PS4?

    2. Does SNE have any plans to update the PS4 app to load quicker and be more stable?

I would love MP3 support more than anything, but if we are not going to get that these are a couple of things the service really needs to address. The app dies way to often while playing an online game or browsing the web, and the fact it has to completly reload each time I want to go change artists/albums/song is disapponting when this issue does not exist on PS Vita which only has 768MB of RAM, while PS4 is said to have ~3GB dedicated to the OS.

I know good things will come in time, but open communication really helps people accept the wait.

    Thanks

  • @4: Do your research first. You should know by now what happens when you assume things.

@Sony: Thanks for having a Day 1 release for the new Atmosphere album.

  • Watched the Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug (3D) and have to say it’s an excellent movie.

I would highly recommend it to others.

Also watched 47 Ronin (3D); it’s ok, but not what I was expecting.

Keep the 3D movies coming !
