This list is a “heads-up” on the new games that are coming. ^_^

  • @5 I believe it was $29.99

  • Didn’t know Serious Sam BFE was coming out this week! Will have to look into that.

  • Finally, I can test my skills in the in the bullet riddled terrain of the Borderwhen did Serious Sam 3 get here?

    ….WELP! I’m buying both.

  • This is a sad drop week, but May 20… Oh man. Between Transistor and Wolfenstein I’m gonna be set, then the week after is Watch Dogs and that driving one on some other system. So glad my birthday is smack dab in the middle of this release madness.

  • Keeps checking the Blog for another surprise flash sale to pop up haha. if only.

  • Sharingan_itachi

    @Ryan
You guys did not release information besides that one little blog on game, no price information which has avaliable for every other, and not even a demo.

  • “We post prices, along with sales, discounts, and the like, on our weekly Store post. Check back Tuesday if you’re interested in that information!

Couldn’t we just go to the PSN store to see prices Tuesday? It’s fine if you don’t want to post the sales so it doesn’t screw up the amount of money you get for each game in the meantime, but you can post pricing information for new releases. People like to plan. People like to know if they need to put some money in the bank or beg from their parents whatever the case may be

Seems to me like this weekly “heads-up” post isn’t very useful

  • @Ryan

That isn’t the complete list of games, right?

    There’s still hope that Suikoden II will also be on this week’s releases, right? ;____;

Konami, you put me up only to break me down…

  • where is Walking Dead Season 2 for Episode 3 ? this week look like garbage .. damn that shame.. can’t wait to play Wolfenstein and watch dogs in two week away

  • Greatness Awaits…

And its name is Suikoden II.

  • Serious Sam 1 & 2 would be great candidates for Vita ports. “HD” versions were already released for X360 and PC, so it would be a great fit for the PS4/Vita cross-buy pattern that seems to have gotten a lot of traction. I hope to see more cross-buy re-releases like Cal Damage HD.

  • I would love to buy Soul Sacrifice Delta, since I enjoyed the first so much. But I can’t support a digital only version. Hopefully you guys do what a few other companies have done and do digital first, and physical later (Ducktales Remastered, Prince of Persia HD collection, etc). I’m not the only hoping for this.

  • Nice, really looking forward to Borderlands 2 on Vita.

@9: You can get the 64gb cards off of Amazon. I got one a few weeks ago and it works fine. There didn’t seem to be any drastic increase in price from it being imported, though, like the other memory cards, it was still ridiculously expensive.

  • Add these ps 1 games for the EU store please. Dino crisis 1 & 2, Medievil 2, excalibur, medal of honour, silent hill 2 and heart of darkness. bring out more of the nostalgic classics as these are pretty much the main reason i switched from xbox 360 to PS3 but now it seems that your have stopped releasing ps1 & ps2 games which sucks and it also appears that you can no longer specifically search for ps1 or 2 games which is inconvenient

  • With drakengard 3 coming out soon i feel like drakengard 1 and 2 should be ps2 classics or at least drakengard 1. Personally, I also think that the eureka 7 games and beat down:fists of vengeance should be in the ps2 classics and ehrgeiz, bushido blade 1 and 2, the megaman x games, quake 2 and spiderman should be in the ps1 classics as well as support for more classics on vita like bloody roar.

  • why not release Suikoden II after the hype? so sad so sad…

  • No love for PS4. I feel left out :,-(

  • any chance of vandal hearts 1/2 coming to psn?? such a forgotten gem.

  • Will there be any discount for Plus/owners of the first Soul Sacrifice when purchasing Soul Sacrifice Delta like what happened in Japanese store?

  • Best game of year on Vita :) can’t wait for borderlands 2.

  • Barely marketing Soul Sacrifice Delta, or acknowledging its existence is a great way to send it out to die. Well, I guess it’s no surprise with how you treat the vita in general. You barely try Sony. A great game like that deserves better, and you have no one to blame but your self if it performs poorly.

  • Still waiting for an answer. Is Minecraft going to be cross buy?? I want the PS4 and/or Vita version but I’d be willing to buy the PS3 version now if we actually got an answer

  • @29 you’re so right. Sony doesn’t get why there are low Vita sales or why people say there are no games for it. Yet they never, ever promote games. Hell, I have yet to see an ad for the Vita 2000 and its been out a week now. How hard is it to promote your own freaking products?

  • I’d have to upgrade my memory card to hold Soul Sac Delta and I only have the ludicrously overpriced 32gb and 64gb varieties to upgrade to. I’m not spending over $100 to play the game, Sony. Shoulda released it physical.

  • What happened to Scourge: The Outbreak? It was supposed to be on the store April 29th.

  • I hope there’s a discount for SS owners or PS+ members..

  • Soul Sacrifice’s treatment has been pretty sad. A super late announcement, one Youtube video, no demo, no pricing information, no promotion, no retail release.

I’m very disappointed in you guys. For a company that’s been running on about being ‘for the players’, you seem to be actively ignoring the Vita audience.

  • if i still have the original soul sacrifice do i get a discount on delta since its just 1.5 and not a full sequel?

  • I haven’t been able to stop playing Borderlands since last week. So glad it is fully out this week. Buy it, people! Ignore reviews, watch gameplay vids! It’s amazing!!!

  • War Thunder,any news?

  • Soul Sacrifice Delta and a demo for Xblaze. My Vita is ready :D

  • Also, yeah I don’t see what the problem is with putting prices, it helps people get prepared to get money/expect what to spend. Rather than just knowing at the very last second.

  • I would buy Soul Sacrifice Delta if they ever release a retail copy. For now I’m just waiting on the Vita Sly Cooper Collection (retail) at the end of the month.

  • oversevethousand

For those of you complaining about Delta’s treatment, keep some things in mind. It did really badly in Japan compared to the first game. Really, really badly. Despite adding more content than many “real” sequels do, people are looking at it as “just” an expansion and deciding it isn’t worth getting, which is ridiculous. And here on this post even – you have people who got it free off PS+ asking if they can get this one on a discount. If they don’t make any money off this, they won’t be able to make a new game, guys. While Sony is absolutely at fault in how they’re not developing new things in the West for the Vita, this here isn’t in the same boat as that at all.

It’s probably digital because they know/fear it’s not going to sell enough to cover that cost (if it bombed in Japan, how could it do better here?), and if your “answer” to that is to not buy the game at all, then their answer will be that Westerners don’t like Soul Sacrifice and we don’t even get the next one digitally. We just won’t get it.

  • oversevethousand

If you don’t want to get it, that’s up to you. I get not wanting to go digital. On the other hand, realize they could have skipped this entirely. Realize that, as far as the bigger picture goes, even a digital localization and what few mentions it’s gotten is MILES better than what other games from Japan are getting. Certainly better than the Western ones that will never exist are.

  • Just Borderlands 2 Vita for me. And TWD S2E3, if it releases on schedule. The next two weeks though, oh man… gonna be so busy.

  • Will the pre-order bonus costume for soul sacrifice delta which was done in japan be available for the first month as dlc? I know that an artbook can’t possibly come with a digital copy, but isn’t dlc still possible?

  • Going to be sweet playing all my games on the Vita/PS4 …and speaking to that, here’s my list of games that i currently own. Hopefully most of these last gen games make it to PS Now! :

  • Not always a Sony enthusiast when it comes to licensing and software, but the Vita is not dead.

I for one have had one since release, forgoing on a home console.

I bought Unit 13 immediately ( great game they just offered free on plus ), and after time and a few classics, I finally tried the Plus program.

    It has ony gotten better.

So what they give Indie titles and PSP games, some of those I bought or woud have bought, and some allow me to try them FOR FREE.

They have still offered some really really great sales, like Need for Speed, Sly Cooper, and Rayman for around 5 bucks.
That is not including Free games like Gravity Rush, Soul Sacrafice, Uncharted, Wipeout, and quite a few others.

Anyone who owns a PS and uses Plus would be insane, not to pick up a Vita eventually.

If you don’t that is your loss.
As for me, I love mine and will save my complaints for hardware probems, account issues, and Screaming phrases like CrossBuy, Cross Platform, Enabling MP3, and Allowing all playable titles to be downloaded (and Cross Platform).

  • Or the seriously annoying text problem it seems to have when editting blogs.

When editting and trying to touch a segment, it has a BAD probem of returning to the area you just left ( constantly), and responsiveness can be a tad delayed.

  • I want Minecraft but refuse to buy until its on Ps4. Day 1 purchase for me on that.
