And of course the NYC venue is sold out in seconds…

Any chance of adding more seats or maybe booking another theater? It would be greatly appreciated. The demand here is through the roof. Please Sony…

  • no New Jersey =(

  • What no love for Kelowna BC? With our booming video game business?

  • Please bring this to more venues.

  • From Columbus, but headed to the Indy event. Looking forward to it!

  • All the tickets are sold out in NY, but since it’s a free event can I still show up and try to get in?

  • This has probably been asked, but I got two tickets, can I bring my child with parental consent?

  • Please expand to more theaters because the Seattle event is already sold out! Put one at the AMC in Lynnwood, WA! And next time, charge something for the event so more theaters will carry it. Partner with Fantom Events or something. I would have paid a few bucks to see this on the big screen at a closer theater

  • sold out in sf :'( please make another theater showing in bay area pleasee!!

  • Did anyone get confirmation emails yet? I got on the waiting list for my city and it told me the site would email me, but it’s four hours later and nothing happened.

  • Should have charged a little something, NY is all booked and I wonder how many of those people who booked it will actually show up :(

  • Will it still be streamed online though? I don’t think that I’d be able to make it to a theater.

  • Damn it! Why not Cleveland!?!? We have a larger metropolitan than Columbus! I sure as hell ain’t driving to Pittspuke!

  • AlexanderKrizak

Come on, Sony! Calgary has more people than half the American cities on that list! Throw us a bone!

  • I’ll be there! Can’t wait!

  • rabidninjamonky

I’ll be going to the one in Omaha. I hope you have some huge announcements planned Sony! Don’t make me put on pants on a Monday night for nothing. Oh, and don’t forget about the Vita!

  • Frm_Light_2_Dark

    Sold out in SF =(

Sony! Add more locations in San Francisco…please lol

  • So does the waitlist mean I can still come or…?

  • I think this should be streamed in real time (in HD) over PSN.
I tried watching it on Home a couple years ago and it was a terrible experience.
It was severely lagged, low resolution, and locked up my PS3 several times.

  • Sid, we need more venues. The demand is there. Vegas got sold out in a manner of hours. We would be glad to pitch in with the costs. This is unprecedented. Thanks anyway. This is going to be awesome for those able to go. Now this is community gaming.

  • More venues. Canada sold out within hour…..Or post this after 5pm when people aren’t working

  • ElectricSlurpee

so instead of not watching it at home, i can now also refuse to pay to go to a movie theatre to watch it? are they serious? it’s just a trade show…

  • I am so bummed that the LA seating sold out. Can I still attend this event? Maybe not everyone shows up?

  • And OF COARSE Winnipeg MB isn’t on the list TnT

  • San Francisco already sold out?! That sucks.. Any chance of adding any more theaters in the Bay area?

  • @223, some places have waitlists.

  • Damn Chicago people !!! too bad its sold out

  • Wait listed. *tears*

  • EverythingOnFire

Utah really is Geek Central, so thanks for picking SLC, Sony! I’m stoked I was able to snag a ticket. Can’t wait to see what happens.

  • Just saw this and my theater in Orlando is already sold out…man. :(

  • After last years disappointing E3, I’ll probably just watch it on my PC. Hopefully this year will be a little better.

  • I was lucky and fast enough to nab two tickets to the Orlando, FL showing. Holy crap was yesterday afternoon great.

I’m suprised it took less then 40min to sell out though. And only 3 theaters for Florida is kind of pushing it with how many people are here.

Nonetheless I’m extremely excited and humble that I managed to get tickets and not be thrown on the waiting list. Thanks Sony! This E3 will be so much more exciting!

  • SOLD OUT TOO QUICK.

Is there any way I can still get a ticket? (I’m in NYC)

What if someone can’t make it?

Do I just go wait on line?

  • What about for LA Residents, we’re not getting a PS Meet-Up this time?

  • i hope we get news on when we will be able to watch 3d blu-ray disc on the ps4 since this is the main selling point for me i do care much about streaming what i play since i only play final fantasy xiv on it and want to watch my 10+ 3d titles i have since i got the ps3 which was nice to tell the truth if we dont get 3d playback on the ps4 i will sell it and stay on my pc as of right now the only way we can watch 3d titles is watch a few on vudu also i live in maine and i would like to see e3 in augusta, bangor, portland area

  • They’re actually showing this here in Idaho!?!?! Got my ticket.. now I need to try and get the night off from work!. Can’t wait to show some Sony love in the City of Trees!

  • I didn’t even see this until now, and had no idea of such an event for E3. We really need more venues, I mean just one for the whole metropolitan LA area is extremely limited. I hope Sony considers more venues, even charge $20 and the true gamers wouldn’t mind. That would be more than breaking even for the theater which most likely wouldn’t fill that single one for a movie costing $12. I see it as a win-win and I really hope it’s at least considered!

On another note, its despicable that I saw a poster asking for a pass on the age limit for their child. Space is limited as it is to one theater for entire cities and you want to take that spot away from a gamer and a fan who really wants to be there. Talk about selfish and self-centered.

  • Thanks playstation for only having 3 locations in california and all at a far distance at that. I have 3 movie theatres near me but not to popular for sony i guess :( . well i hope the stream doesnt lag again.

  • zhouxingtianxia

I want to kown to have the big game login psvita on e3。I hope big game can login psvita it very need this

  • Why would I watch it in a browser?

SURELY this will be broadcast live on my PS4?

If not then I think Sony should rather get that done first because branching out to cinemas.

  • Doesn’t anyone buy Sony products in the UK. Oh yes I forgot, we don’t have the internet or movie theatres here.

  • Guardian_of_DCF

Received confirmation of ticket! Looking forward to viewing in a theater setting. Will we be allowed to film the presentation?

  • This is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. Seriously.

  • I got on the waiting list. =(

I hope that if I go that they aren’t stupid about it and let me go in if I come early enough.

  • Why nothing in upstate NY?Why not do something for the capital of ny.

  • I was very surprised to see the theater I usually go to here in Pittsburgh, figured something like this usually is at the Waterfront. However, by the time I tried to register I’m on the wait list. It would be nice to know how many people are already on the wait list or maybe a saying you are #15 on the wait list. While I know it is first come first served for the wait list in seating, knowing how many other people you might be competing against for a seat(s) might help plan for when you should get there. Big difference if you would be competing against 10 or 100.

  • Well, since the closest venue is not quite two hours away and sold out in seconds, and there’s a clear demand for more venues, I might as well shoot for the stars. Add a venue in Morgantown, West Virginia! In addition to showing some love to the WV, you’d get a lot of traffic from the now sold out Pittsburgh and Columbus regions as well.

  • ADD!!! MI!!! We need something like this…

  • Boo, no Austin location. Oh well. I’ll just stick to watching the conference online.

  • Please…
Bring more cities, all tickets are sold out… :(
