PlayStation at E3 2014: Livestream Details, Booth Game List

Sid Shuman's Avatar Posted by on Jun 05, 2014 // Director, SIEA Social Media

E3 2014 is almost upon us! Continuing our annual tradition, PlayStation will livestream the full PlayStation E3 2014 Press Conference on Monday, June 9th at 6:00pm Pacific / 9:00pm Eastern, beginning with a quick pre-show 15 minutes prior. You’ll be able to watch right here on PlayStation.Blog,, or Ustream. RSVP here if you know what’s good for you.

Then, starting Tuesday at 12:00pm Pacific / 3:00pm Eastern, we’ll serve up a three-day LiveCast smorgasbord of live game demos, developer interviews, and new game trailers. Justin, Ryan and I will be joined by the talented Anthony Carboni and Meredith Molinari, so you know it’s gonna be good. Or, at the very least, serviceable!

LiveCast Schedule

Monday: 5:45pm PT
Tuesday: 12:00pm to 6pm PT
Wednesday: 10am to 4:00pm PT
Thursday: 10am to 2:00pm PT

One more thing: I’m pleased to reveal a selection of fine PlayStation software that will be showing in our E3 booth. Obviously, we can’t dish on every game that we’ll be showing at E3, but consider this a conversation starter. See you Monday!

Freedom Wars, Disgaea 4, Danganronpa 2 (hope it’s like the Japanese demo, which has different victims, and murderes from the actual game), and KH2.5! Hope we get some Vita stuff this year. Maybe something Related to Type-0 HD would be nice ;)

Freedom Wars!!

^^ Agreed with Dark Cloud 3 :D

Nintendo ONLY cashes in on their handful of franchises that people love. Sony DOESN’T cash in enough on the franchises people love: particularly RPGs!

Regardless, a great list !

Will the streams be viewable through the Live from PlayStation section on PS4?

Awesome! Looking forward to it, hoping for some big announcements.

Or the PS3’s live event app … as it would stream better then in the ps3’s browser/Home event space

I just watched the trailer for To Leave from a year ago and I must say it looks really interesting (and odd). Please encourage the dev to create a PS Blog Post during E3 for it for those of us not in attendance!

Anyone else see “Gravity” and “Vita” and for a split second think “OMG THEY’RE SHOWING GRAVITY RUSH 2!!!!” before realizing it was Gravity Crash Ultra instead?

STOKED that I’m going to the live experience in Atlanta!

Sid, PLEASE confirm whether the press conference will be available to download from the PS Store, as it has been in previous years. I may not be able to stream it, so it’s really great to be able to download the videos after.

Wow, so many games. Interested in Samurai Warriors 4, one of my faves growing up. So excited for Destiny and so many more. Best thing is watching it all on the Big Screen! See you there Sid!

Watch dogs is making my CPU overheat I only had my ps3 for 2 years :(

+ cleversignin on June 5th, 2014 at 8:55 pm said:

please tell me a few of the PS4 titles are AAA. I am not anti indy games by any means but I own the greatest graphics crunching console in history and pretty much the entire library is retro throwback 8 bit-esque games. I love those games but my PS4 told me it was tired of the foreplay. you are giving it blue bar:) I know it takes time but hoping for a something mind blowing.

also, since Grace gets a ration of crap if the store updates late: where’s the blogcast?!??!?!?!

+ dodgedoors on June 5th, 2014 at 9:00 pm said:

Very upset that starbound for PS4 and Vita is not on this list. Is there any news on its release?

I was hoping for a Minecraft Vita Edition Dev. Preview but I guess that might not happen.
Sadly, there are no sequels to Vita 2012 games such as Assassin’s Creed, NFS or Virtua Tennis at sight. I hope these will show up at Tokyo Game Show 2014 ;-)

Isn’t Helldivers for PsVita also?

+ Nick930930 on June 5th, 2014 at 10:18 pm said:

That list looks pretty empty. Tons of indie games, but nothing big.

Drive Club
project Cars
The Crew

Killzone DLC…

and some more games that were already on Steam years ago.

Please for the love of God tell me you’ve got LittleBigPlanet, God of War, Uncharted, and some more BIG games to get us excited. Stop hiding everything, just let us know these games are still in your thoughts!

+ Nick930930 on June 5th, 2014 at 10:19 pm said:

I mean hell.. buy the Crash Bandicoot IP back already, or at least work out a deal to get it to be multiplatform with exclusive PS4 dlc or something…

we NEED a platformer game.. and no.. Rayman and Trine do not count.

I will be watching from the Regal City North Stadium 14 & RPX in Chicago!

I got my reservation for the theatrical screening and was able to move my work schedule around so I can actually attend. So excited to watch this conference on the big screen. Considering the amount of announcements we’ve been getting in the lead-up to E3, I can only imagine what kind of big reveals we’ll get from the actual conference. Here’s hoping you blow our minds, Sony.

+ FearMonkey on June 6th, 2014 at 12:06 am said:

Why is Akiba’s Trip only listed for Vita? It’s coming to PS3 as well right?

Also, there’s a PS4 version coming out in Japan. I hope we get that too.

I hope that Vita has some big name game announcements. Maybe something like Infamous, Another Uncharted, or God of War. Maybe get Rockstar to release GTA for Vita? I love Indies, but I hope that that is not the only games coming out for this awesome handheld.

Can I watch on my PS4?

+ Porcupeth00 on June 6th, 2014 at 3:18 am said:

ps4 list has at least 19 games i’m interested in! and that’s just the booth games, not including the unnanounced ones.. my poor wallet

+ IIL0YDII on June 6th, 2014 at 3:28 am said:

Thats a good selection of indie games for Vita, not a single AAA title, nice.

+ bnightstar on June 6th, 2014 at 3:53 am said:

That`s great can`t wait. However I have a question when we will see a software update for the PS4 that will reduce the Load times for games the instant in game feature that was so advertised on the last E3 when the PS4 was released ?
