Does it come with anything or will it be the same as the ps3 version?
YES CAN’T WAIT! The very reason i didn’t buy it for PS3, because i heard rumors it was going to come to PS4, that, and because i didn’t feel i wanted to put the time and effort into this huge game.
By the way, I’m curious, how is data from the 360 version gonna be transferred to the PS4 version?
Do you really think that we dont get it? We know it is not profitable to make AAA games for Vita. But who do you think the fault is?? Sony’s. They let the things get to this point. And i’m sorry if you are the kind of person that accept everything that life throws at you, but i’m not. I know what Sony did last night was wrong, and i’m going to fight for what is right. Do you guys have any cross buy or upgrade system planned for the PS3 digital purchasers? As you know the digital version of GTA V on PS3 doesn’t run well at all so I would like to transfer my license from PS3 to PS4.
This is good news. But I would of liked a remastered ps4 version of Red Dead Redemption. To me Red Dead Redemption was the best last gen game,and fully deserves a remastered version. Please make this happen Rockstar.
@7 Yea, if they allow the PS3 digital purchasers to upgrade I’m in, the game was fun and I platinumed it with joy but it really misses some new “options” in the gameplay regarding the multiplayer as it becomes really stereotype after a while. Looks like they kept heists for the PS4 launch as they want to bring even PS3 owners to the new generation…we can only hope we get some sort of upgrade option, but honestly – there will be none…

I Loved playing as John Marston in Red Dead Redemption. He was to me the best character rockstar has ever created.

I am happy that GTA V is coming to next gen. But honestly, I wouldn’t pay another 60 bucks for a game that I already have for a few minor enhancements.
@14 Agreed…same way I feel about the last of us on ps4. They NEED to give ps3 owners an “upgrade” deal, or many will wait to get the ps4 version for cheap. We supported your game Rockstar, please give fans support too.
Noe, the weather / damage / traffic / wildlife additions and improvements are NICE!
This game was already BEAUTIFUL on ps3, can’t wait to see the game-world on ps4. Hope you guys can get it to that magical 1080p 60fps or 30fps with no drops in framerate. Oh, and REALLY hope the connection/server quality will be improved over the year. This is the #1 issue.
I’m curious if Rockstar had these ps4/pc/xbone versions of the game planned or did fan feedback push them to release this upgraded game?

@22 still no dedicated Vita GTA, however. If you own a PS4 you will be able to remote play GTA:5. That to me, is more exciting then any of the “enhancements”. Once the PS4 versions is $30 or cheaper, I will probably buy it again for this reason. Like others have said though, I am not dropping another $60 on a game I bought a year ago.
about time, now pc gamers can stop having ah hissy fit. also the trailer looks great. i wont be paying another 60$ though for a upgraded graphics version but il def pick it up when its 30$ for the ps4. this looks great.
I have this game on my 360 and I’m totally pumped that I can now trade that game in and pick this up on PS4 knowing all my online progress will get carried over!
Let just hope Rockstars fix all the problems bugging the game really bad, I plan to get PS4 version and trade PS3 version in then or keep both. Not really sure on how to do now.

Is it true the ps4 is not powerful enought to run audio cds, mp3s, 3d blurays, dlna, and bluetooth remotes? Or is it, as some suggest, an active decision to ignore these features in lieu of Sony’s paid services?
Yay? Another reheated PS3 release for PS4? Not interested in paying $60 for a game I already own just for some graphical improvements. And yes, I know, I’m not the target audience I’m just disappointed that the PS4 seems to be turning into a home for “Remastered” versions of PS3 games rather than a home for high quality next-gen games. Hopefully this is just a temporary thing while new AAA PS4 titles are under development.
For those hoping that R* gives existing customers a price break, don’t hold your breath. Crystal didn’t do it with Tomb Raider, I seriously doubt Sony/ND will do it with TLOU, and I doubt R* will do it either. It’ll be $60 (or $70 in Canada) so the best bet is to wait for it to go on sale at some point if you really want to play it again. It would be nice if they gave a discount, but really, what incentive do they have to do this? And when was the last time you ever saw Sony or one of their dev partners give people a break because they already owned a game (aside from the PS4 launch and that was specifically because of the launch)?
@30 Jluvsc I suspect it’s either an intentional decision in order to push people towards paid services (even though these services are not available in some countries), or just lazy programming / bad decision making by Sony.
My personal opinion is that they’re trying to force people to use their paid services.

As others have said, I’m hoping there is a free or at least discounted “upgrade” deal for this on the horizon, similar or identical to what Final Fantasy ARR had. Not paying full price for a next gen version, regardless how beautiful the ps4 version looks or plays.
Now I see why we’ve been waiting for heists since drop. Sincerely hope your not pulling a Blizzard here and expect us to pony up again for a title we already paid for.
For anyone who hasn’t picked it up yet, I highly recommend gta5 on ps4. Pre ordered on ps3 and I’m still playing it today. Great game and I imagine it’s only gonna get better.
Will there be an upgrade from the PS3 option, particularly for those of us who bought Digitally?
GTA V was only kinda fun on the PS3, despite being visually pleasing, so while I’m curious about the PS4 version, I regret buying the PS3 copy at full price and would not pay that much again for this kind of game, let alone the same game on a different system.
If it’s 40$is or something for people who own the PS3 version I’d consider buying it just because of lack of PS4 games.

Already own it on the ps3 great game. i normally hate DLCs, but if done correctly like “The Balled of Gay Tony ” DLC; gta5 could use some story DLCs rockstar.
Still no DLNA, MP#, friends notifications, becoming a joke at this point. Main bar on PS4 is a mess and needs big time organization, is sony even trying anymore
Yesterday my ps3 gave up while i was in gta ( yloded after 7 awesome years ) and also got the ps4 at launch and i was thinking if i should get a new ps3 just for gta, now rockstar announced it coming on ps4 like they knew it xD

Is there going to be a special trade in to switch from PS3 to PS4? I bought the game knowing and asking many many times that the game was never coming to PS4 and now that was all a lie. I demand a major discount for owning the original copy (disc) on PS3. Will there be a special trade in at GameStop to upgrading GTAV to a PS4 version?
How about some news on red dead, I will never buy any rockstar games until I see that they can fix the problems with the games they already have out. It seems that rockstar is just about the $$$. The only company that seems to truly cares about customers is randy pitchford and gearbox. They know how to treat gamers with respect and curtesy. Rockstar shame on you.

How about transferring our single player progress?
Pretty important IMO, and a feature that’s being completely ignored. Don’t know how many games I’ve purchased for PS3 just to find out shortly thereafter that it’s announced for PS4. I end up upgrading, and I’m stuck restarting the game on PS4, which is crap.
Surely it can’t be that difficult to port the save files, and this is possible with some games through the in-game cloud transfers (and all these cross-play games), but why is this being largely neglected? Why don’t PS4 games automatically pick up PS3 saves on the PSN cloud? Seems like a no brainer.
If these upgraded PS4 versions of PS3 games supported and advertised save transfers, you’d have a LOT more people buying the updated versions.
