Phew! The biggest show in gaming is finally winding down. Continuing our annual tradition, the US PlayStation.Blog staff has collected some of our favorite E3 trailers in one place. Have we missed any standouts? Call them out in the comments below.

    And not a single Vita game listed. Really? Not going to even attempt to give Freedom Wars, your own damn game, some love? Sad to say, I’m not surprised.

    40 games sounds good til you realize most are ports and indies and only three exclusives (infamous, driveclub, LBP3) are even this year.

    I saw a new gameplay trailer for Bloodborne today, and it’s looking really good. I can’t wait to play it!

    I’m also a little sad about Vita’s dismal showing at this year’s E3, but it was the same last year, so I kind of expected it. I’m sure FF type-0 will come eventually, but if it doesn’t, who cares? I’m sure it will take at least 2 years for Square to release it, and by then I’ll have a PS4. The vita only cost $200, and I played a lot of great games on it already, so I’ve got my money out of it.

    SCEA lost interest in the vita about 6 months after launch, maybe I should follow their lead and give up on it too.

    6) The Order: 1886 ~ not much new from last time this was shown but this is definitely gonna be a true next gen game, and I love the dark atmosphere..reminds me of Resistance but with new unique guns and story as well.

    5) GTA V ~ This is where a huge open world game belongs (PS3 just can’t handle games like this and Battlefield which are just too BIG+COMPLEX for it). Game was already epic+gorgeous because of Rockstar’s attention to detail, but the ps4 will make that point so sharp you won’t even need to be knifed to bleeeeeeeeed! :P

    4) The LAST of US ~ All I will say is what I have said over 200 times by now lol…. OVER 200 Game of the Year awards. THE most Awarded game IN HISTORY. Play it already, dummy. :O One of the top 5 games ever in my book, and that’s just the 1 player. Online is a true tactical / 4vs4 team game. NO aim assist, modes that limit lives, and a non respawn pure round based mode which promotes teamwork and strategic play just like socom used to and unlike most games do these days.

    3) Uncharted 4 ~ ONLY reason this isn’t higher on my list is really only because they didn’t show too much in this trailer, not much at all. :/ I guess the game wasn’t ready to be fully shown yet, or they’re just making us wait a few more months to show more because they know it’s not coming out anytime soon (probably late 2015) and they want the hype to slowly build up instead of showing too much of it now. But damn it will be a beautiful looking game, for sure. Anyone with a critical eye can already see that just based off this small clip. The realism in the face, the animation of the face (which is the hardest thing to do for animation..so all other animations will very likely look AMAZING too…), the water/physics and environment in general. Perfect, that’s what I see at least..but hey I’m a fan so judge for yourself. But in my opinion, this is probably the best looking PS4 game we’ll see until late 2016 and maybe even until 2017… This is NOT a CG trailer, this is how the game WILL look!!!! Amazing.

    1. Bloodborne- It came from left field.
    2. Uncharted 4……The voice acting always nice to hear. Nathan looked totally different….a bit less goofy looking.
    3. MGSV….Solid Snake….just put a still of him and it would be epic.

    2) MGS V: The Phantom Pain ~ For people who haven’t played any MGS games you probably won’t understand ANY of the references in the trailer and will miss the true emotion of it..which is what this trailer is all about..the emotion + complex character of Big Boss. That is what makes MGS so UNIQUE..because the #1 focus is NOT on intense action, and yet it still does that better than all other games do. But you play MGS for the story. So play the other MGS games first (get the MGS LEGACY COLLECTION on PS3 and you get ALL the MGS games for less than $50..). Then you’ll really love the trailer+game and understand why MGS has been a top rated game since the ps1..a feat that NO other game series besides GT has achieved..think about that! Finally, MGS always has music that PERFECTLY fits the game’s theme(s), like a 007 film. The song in this trailer sets the mood/tone perfectly yet again. Oh, and remember, war changes + war never changes. ;) War changes you.

    What other game series really talks about war/soldiers/race/culture/revenge/politics/hate/love/nature vs nurture like MGS does? None. And it does it with style and comedy too. Amazing. Thats why its the #1 series / piece of art in my eyes.

    1) NO MAN’S SKY. This game is a new IP, which is 1 reason why I put it above MGS and Uncharted…it’s exciting to see NEW stuff, especially when it looks DAMN good! This game TOTALLY surpised me when the trailer “picked up speed” if you know what I mean….I’ve been wanting a new Colony Wars since the PS1 games were abandoned, or even a new Warhawk since that game was sick+unique on the PS3..but THIS? This blows any of those games away in terms of art design and scale alone…if the gameplay can be as great as this game LOOKS like it could be, this will be an AMAZING game. Oh, and isn’t it nice to see a game that isn’t afraid to use COLORS? LOOK at it for yourself oh and yes it will have “online” but it will be a unique online “mode” and universe that is made specifically for the game! What’s even MORE mindblowing and what I learned AFTER I put this game at #1 is that this game was made by 4 people. FOUR people!!!! Wow. I sure hope SONY gave them a bigger team after they saw this game! Because this game deserves the attention, and the scope REQUIRES a solid team if they want this game to be as epic as the trailer hints it could be.

    I think you should put a little pressure on Hello Games and ask them to give us an exclusive alpha. It’s not me asking, it’s my PS4. Says it wants to get cracking on the procedural generation already.

    I know, Sony EXCEPT Shahid Kamal hated Vita so much because it become a bad stigma for Sony Playstation as general… that’s why I bought PS4 now.

    You will keep on abandoning Vita right? right? RRIIGHTT?

      I knew somebody would call me on that :) TGS & Gamescom and the PAXes are huge too. I guess I’m referring to E3’s awareness, it feels like a massive cultural event at this point. But point taken!

    I am going to assume there are marketing reasons behind not promoting witcher 3 and rise of the tomb raider because those were very good trailers as well

    No man’s sky was the best part of the sony show. finally confirmation it’s coming to ps4. it will be a day 1 buy, and if they have it a collectors edition (first collectors edition I would buy in nearly a decade)

    sony, do what you can to figure out as much about the game as possible. they don’t talk about it enough..

    I don’t remotely care about most of these but Abzu and Source really interest me. Too bad they’re not on PS3 OR vita. :( I dunno when I’ll get a PS4 but probably not for some time and I was hoping Sony would keep support for it alive like they did with the PS2 for at least a couple years.

    It would be fantastic if these trailers were actually viewable on my brand new PS4. Nope, we have tiny boxes on the screen for the E3 updates that show minuscule videos. Unlimited cosmic computing power. Itty bitty viewing space. No option for full screen. No option to download to watch later like on my PS3 that is still brimming with life. Who do we have to bribe to make this machine work properly? I want to see the trailer for No Man’s Sky in full res on my TV, not have to squint to try to discern what all is going on there.

    Why did Sony decide not to make the E3 presentation, trailers, etc. downloadable on the PS3 like past years? I always liked that. I can always go and watch at my leisure without having the internet to stream.

    I just want to join everyone’s cry for Vita. There’s a lot of great stuff coming to it. Please Sony, do more to let everyone know what great stuff there is for the Vita. if not the exclusives, then at least talk more about the cross-buy. at the keynote there were several titles listed, almost as an after thought, as cross-buy. if you’re not going to talk up the exclusives for the system, at least make a big deal about the cross-buy.

    There is no way I can list all the games I want from this list. It’s easier to list the games I DON’T want from this list. Out of everything announced/mentioned at E3, only 2, maybe 3 of those games, will not be on my PS4 anytime soon. The rest…..I want now! The indies look awesome for the most part! No Man’s Sky will be on my PS4, no doubt. Far Cry, Uncharted, The Order, Deep Down, Minecraft, GTA 5, Planetside 2…these are just a few games I will be playing from this list!

    Little big planet made my night. No man’s sky gave me hope. The other were cool to watch but I’ve decided that I’m not playing or support first/third person shooters anymore. It seems as if it’s 60% of the industry right now, but everybody has the favorites so enjoy, at karst it seems as if there is all genres coming from sony.

    Will Sony be putting the e3 presentation video in the store this year?

    Sony why do you ignore Vita owners? Where’s GTA San Andreas? Where’s Final Fantasy Type-0? Where’s Infamous? TELL US SONY!!! TELL US!!!! Vita owners DID NOT spend $250 on a failed console or a PS4 remote play accessory!!!! I can’t afford a PS4! You better listen Sony Vita owners are in an uproar over what you’ve been doing to the Vita! Stop ignoring it or you’ll be sorry that you done this to the Vita community! #GIVEUSGAMESSONY

    I’m really excited for the new LBP3 game. Not just because it will be my first time in the series, but also because I can’t wait to play as Swoop and check out the customize/level features.

    Also I’ve been ready for No Man’s Sky since 2013.
