GTA V: The Independence Day Special

From Paleto Bay to the Port of Los Santos and everywhere in between, it’s time to celebrate the birthplace of freedom with The Independence Day Special (in association with Ammu-Nation) for Grand Theft Auto Online.

Demonstrate your exceptionalism and own the road from sea to shining sea with two new star spangled rides, the Sovereign motorcycle and the super-sized Liberator monster truck. And protect your rights the same way our Founding Fathers did with the latest addition to Ammu-Nation’s antiques collection, the high-powered Musket… or channel your inner Jack Howitzer with the spectacular Firework Rocket Launcher.

Seven new properties have also been added to the Dynasty 8 rolls, including locations in Paleto Bay and Vinewood Hills that provide plenty of yard space to scorch the grass with your very own Fireworks show. Use up to 12 varieties with different fuse lengths to create a spectacle that would make even the most battle-hardened Republican Space Ranger shed a tear. If you prefer rickety amusements operated by minimum wage teenage workers over incendiary lawn displays, then venture down to Pleasure Pier where you can now ride the Ferris Whale and the Leviathan Roller Coaster.

This limited-time update also features an overabundance of patriotic flare: show off nationalistic pride with a “Made in the U.S.A.” t-shirt, a backwoods mullet or let the eagle soar with an animal mask featuring this great nation’s most fearsome and majestic creatures.

This special seasonal content will be available to redeem in-game until Mid-July (we will announce a specific redemption expiration date soon). The automatic update for the Independence Day Special also includes additional game tuning updates and other adjustments, including the new On Call Matchmaking function. This new option allows players to accept a Job invite and continue playing in Freemode until that Job fills up, reducing time spent idle while waiting for Job to start.

The update (1.15) is already live even in europe, thats very nice. Now i am a little bit less mad you bring a ps4 version of this ps3 game without a digital upgrade.Like criminals/jerks. And how you removed the R2 quick replay function which turned r* from most loved dev to most hated one. Thanks for the apartments it will be another 20 or 30 minutes of fun online i am sure, maybe more :D

i would’ve kept my copy if they came out with real storyline dlc, half a year after the release and all i see still are costumes and differently painted vehicles

I really wish you’d release all these add-ons in their entirety in single player for those of us who dont like playing online. It seems as if we’ve been getting a bit of the shaft when it comes to updates.

hmmm i bought the vinewood home across frome the crazy movie guy but none of the ones i saw said anything about fireworks. i DID see the round yard in the back and a couple strange guys hanging near the pool enjoying the view, aroo? felt like shooting em but i was so happy i let em be. are the fireworks not availible til the forth or did i get hosed? it’s an upgrade from my crap garage on little bighorn tho so im happy. having bad vision i’m not good enough to join crews so i just enjoy solo… obviously dont play often, cash is too slow. anyhow if anyone know’s i’d greatly appreciate it!:)

NOTHING for Canada Day?!? Not even a hat?
After that whole “next gen” re-sell of the same game crap, this isn’t earning Rockstar any brownie points..
