He would have pulled it off, too, if it hadn’t been for the spell book he found on the terrace. AND if he hadn’t read the ancient words scribbled on its pages. Has this guy never seen “Evil Dead?”
In a fury of flame and hell smoke, there she was: Lilit, complete with black lips, nails to die for (or die by), and a pair of devilish horns. In a flash, she snatched up Mark and dragged him to the underworld. Think of the last shot of “Drag Me To Hell” on steroids.
Tiffany, of course, wasn’t going to let another woman steal her man, so she set out to get him back.
As you can tell, we had fun coming up with the scenario for Sacra Terra: Kiss of Death, a hidden object puzzle adventure available next week on PS3. We also had a good time designing the puzzles and crafting the locations.
We wanted the puzzles and mini-games to challenge players, but not be an obstacle to their progress, so logic was our guide. We also designed these elements to exploit the game’s supernatural setting in unexpected ways.
PlayStation Move brings a fun dynamic to the hidden object scenes in Sacra Terra: Kiss of Death. Using the controller, you can drag and drop items, giving these portions of the game a tactile feel. If you prefer to use your DualShock, you have that option as well.
Visually, we aimed high. PlayStation’s support of HD graphics allowed our artists to cram as much detail as they pleased into each scene. One of the best moments for us while making the game was seeing the visual acuity of their rendering of Hell on an HDTV screen.
We also wanted the game to be easy to navigate, so once again, we turned to PlayStation Move, which the player can use to travel from one location to another.

The story sounds great and I really like the reversal of the standard damsel in distress cliche, but I’m a bit bummed to see it paired with a hidden object game.
Price it correctly and ill get it. Ten bucks is the max for me on a hidden object game. Dont be like the majority of devs lately and price yourselves outta the game.
I’m with 3 and 4, the story and pictures have me intruiged, especially spinning the damsel in distress cliche, but using it for a hidden object game gives me pause. There’s potential here, and I might pick it up for that alone.

My husband and I like playing hidden object games together as a way to “chill” before going to bed. So far, a lot of the games have been of really poor quality — especially in consistency of graphics and text translations.
Was the text translated by native english speakers?
Does it support two Moves so each player can have their own cursor?
The screenshots say 1080p, but some of the graphics in the scene look like 720p with a smoothing post-process. Are *all* the graphics assets 1080p native (backgrounds, fonts, items, etc)?

Another new game for the old system. I love seeing PS3 releases on my PS4. It really helps to rub in the fact that I was already ripped off. Is Sony just out of ideas or what?

Without backwards compatibility no idea why anyone bought it so soon, atleast Vita still had psone and some psp to go on.

Don’t get too excited/disappointed/angry about this being a PS3 game. It’s a hidden object game, of which there are literally hundreds available on PC or iOS. They are just now starting to hit consoles and Steam. Chances are you’ll be seeing a ton of these on every platform at some point, whether you want them or not. Seriously, there are so many of these games in existence now. They are kind of a chill way to just zone out for a while, but it’s really just pixel-hunting for items on a cluttered screen. The stories are never important as it ends up being “here’s another room full of stuff, find these 20 specific things”.
It might seem exciting because there’s a blog post about it, but you’ll soon realise that there are a gazillion more of these, and they are all exactly the same (for good or ill). How many will make it to PSN is another matter, but my god there are so many of these out there now. So many.
Cool, depending on price I might pick this up. Serious props on the inclusion of Move support, it entirely makes sense in games like these. :)
