With the close of the GT Academy Online Qualification last month, our Top 32 US and Canadian contestants are gearing up to compete head to head through various virtual challenges at the legendary MTV Studio in Times Square on Friday, 7/11. We’ll narrow down the competition to the Top 12 and send them to the UK in August, where they will experience and compete in real motorsport challenges at the legendary Silverstone Race Circuit. Only one winner will be selected as the next professional racecar driver for Nissan, starting with their first professional race at the 24HR Dubai in January 2015.
To give you an inside look at this year’s competition, we are partnering with Twitch to live stream the entire National Finals on Friday, 7/11 starting at 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern. It will be hosted by some of the most respected and experienced GT Academy and GT6 members, including:
- Jordan Greer – Owner of GT Planet (Largest GT Community Site)
- Nick McMillen – GT Academy 2013 Champion
- Danny Sullivan – GT Academy Judge / Legendary Racecar driver
- Dhani Jones – GT Academy Host
Additionally, viewers of the Live Stream through Twitch will have a chance to win numerous DLC prizes, including in-game credit ranging from $100K to $1M and the limited 5-Car Pack — previously only available when pre-ordering GT6.

No 4th of July sale. Really? Playstation has really dropped the ball this week. The discounts on Tuesday sucked. Come on, give us some good deals again not just Call of Duty Games. Tsk Tsk Tsk

Sony always seems to let down its customers in new and unusual ways.

No sale, so pathetic. EU has a Japan games sale going on for 2 WEEKS with over 80 games and we can’t get a sale that isn’t crap!?
I get the feeling whoever was in charge of this was on vacation this week. Sony drops the ball continually.
To be fair, we’ve had some good sales while the EU got nothing. So it’s not like Sony’s playing favourites.

To be honest, these flash sales probably benefit *SONY* more than us. They’re just hurting themselves by not having them.
The sales greatly increase flow of traffic to the Sony store and improve the chances for more purchases. I know that I’ve come to the store when there’s been a sale and wound up buying *other* stuff that I saw.
Also, the sales drum up interest and sales in older titles that may otherwise be ignored.
Are we really surprised Sony dropped the ball on yet another opportunity?
Yikes, this is the same day as the start of EVO, guess I’ll have to have 2 monitors going, can’t wait to see what challenges the competitors with have to face, and the cars they get to use.
The sales and everything have really been terrible since Sony announced those PS+ game changes.
I think the last “good” sale we had was the Japan flash Sale.
But the Summer Sale has been a complete joke, Microsoft has Thief on X1 for cheaper than what Sony has it for on last gen, and then Cod prices are ridiculous as usual.

Hello my name is John and I love the ps vita game need for speed most wanted. This might be off topic But I have a problem I cant change the controller. I want the brake to be on square, and the ebrake on L button. I want to control the car using the d pad. Controlling the car on the analog stick is very very hard. also the ability to quick change off-road tires by pressing somewhere on the touch screen. I have more ideas that can improve this game but this is for now. Please Im begging you to have this update on the game. i will never stop posting this until i get a replay. i dont mind being banned, at least im fighting for whats going to make this game better. Sorry i don’t know where to go im new here. I hope you understand my problem.
