Yes, Disappointing sale. At this point though…we all have backlogs to finish. We can all just wait for the next sale. The last 2 weeks were good sales especially with Deception IV and RO ACE.

You ought to host the Big In Japan sale I see going on for EU. So much amazing stuff I would pay for, and yet all there is for us is stuff like Assassin’s Creed multiplayer stuff, random dlc and games that were like two buck to begin with. Is that coming stateside, or what?

I’m honestly a little surprised PS+ changed to give all games in the first update of the month. Doling them out week by week generally gave me something to look forward to each week. Even if I didn’t buy something that week, I at least walked away from these blog posts happy that I could download my next free game. Heck, even if I didn’t like the free game of the week, I knew I had something to look forward to next week.

This is the first time in a really long time that my store activity will be nada for a week. And with no known reason to be excited for next week I’m a little bummed.

I guess the Destiny beta is next week at least!

What a terrible sale. wtf is this? .8cents off another indie game? do you actually want to sell games? .80 cents off another 8bit game, which screams PS Plus freebie in 3 months… get it together sony

im actually going to buy a microsoft card, and get silent hill HD for 10$ for my 360. which is 5$ per silent hill, and maybe two other DISC games. as sony clearly doesnt want my buisness after I purchased the console

I wouldnt be so bitter if they made it possible for some of the stuff on the ps3 marketplace to be on the ps4 one..

Disappointment over the last couple of month continues. I really was looking to get something this week from so called summer blast sale. Absolutely pathetic.
At least we had Wolf Among Us Episode 5. But that wasn’t Sony’s doing. Sorry I forgot.

77

+ Kevvik on July 8th, 2014 at 3:03 pm said:

So the Summer Bust sale was only 2 weeks? Not that anyone noticed that a sale was on.

This week isn’t any more impressive although Stella Deus for $3.99 outshines any other sale in the last month. Would also have been nice to see a PS+ discount for Mousecraft at launch.

At least we got the free games last week to tide us over. At this rate there won’t be anything else to bother with until next month. The guy in charge of promoting PSN now must be the guy that used to be in charge of Vita promotion. Sad when Microsoft manages a better sale.

Wow. I am really shocked also. Every week over the past couple of months I have been coming to the PSN store to check up on the sales and have been SHOCKED again and again. Ever since they made the changes to the PSN Plus structure its been going downhill…it might not have a lot to do with the sale items but thats when I noticed it started happening.

I remember when the Sony store was doing so well it couldn’t be beat and now look at it. If they aren’t screwing around and putting something on sale and then turning around and offering it for free on Plus a few weeks later then they are just pushing weak stuff no one wants.

Sony, you really need to do something soon before MS gets an upper hand. Remember its the customers who can make or break you…MS learned this but maybe its not too late for them if this keeps up.

“seriously when well you guys have more games available for pre order on PSN I want to pre order assassin’s creed unity, Batman Arkham knight and witcher 3 on PSN”

A solid solution I found: Take the amount of money those games will cost and put it in your savings account. Then, set a calendar reminder for the day the games come out. There, you just pre-ordered the games. Not only is it exactly as effective as pre-ordering on PSN, but you’ll make a few cents in interest instead of paying immediately for an unfinished product and voluntarily giving up the right to change your mind over the intervening months.

+ GoldenShaka on July 8th, 2014 at 3:32 pm said:

@bajor27, well you are one of the few ones who did it like that.
Week after week i always had to read people complaining: Why free game didn’t come out this week???, so sony decided: Ok you don’t have to wait any longer, now you’ll have all the list at the beginning of the month, see you next month.
The updated was mostly based on the “free” game scheduled in every week, and when it was needed they posted some sales, but they never posted the whole list of sales. Considering there’s no more “this week free game” there’s no point to post an update, just guessing.
Yes, i dislike it also, but probably it won’t change.

@Rezolution77 And come on, you need to have a back up system of some sort. A PC, handheld, anything. Heck, it can even be a very old gen console. If one doesn’t satisfy you, game with the other. Isn’t that how gaming is supposed to be enjoyed?
