This month our PlayStation Plus members will receive two games free the day they release on PlayStation Store — Road Not Taken on PS4 and Metrico on PS Vita. In addition to these titles, members will receive other popular games like Fez on PS4, Crysis 3 and Proteus on PS3 and Dragon’s Crown on PS Vita.
PS4 owners can enjoy two puzzle games with very different mechanics. First up, there’s Road Not Taken, where you’ll aim to strategically maneuver through a forest as efficiently as possible with only a limited amount of stamina, all while saving lost children. Then you can don a fancy hat in Fez, as you jump around pixelated 2D levels housed in a 3D world. Shift your view of the landscape with the hit of a button and journey to find the pieces of a Hexahedron.
On PlayStation 3, Crysis 3 offers the sandbox first-person shooter world that made the franchise famous and there’s a new toy to play with – the Predator Bow. If you enjoy multiplayer, there’s a new mode here called Hunter where two players are pitted against a team of CELL agents with the goal of slowly turning all of them into fellow Hunters. Then, there’s the soothing experience of Proteus, where you’ll explore procedurally generated islands with a dynamic soundtrack.
Finally, PlayStation Vita owners will get their hands on the highly-anticipated puzzle-platformer Metrico and critically-acclaimed action RPG Dragon’s Crown. Traverse a world filled with infographics in Metrico, but don’t be fooled by the clean presentation – proceeding through these charts isn’t as straightforward as it might seem. Invite up to three friends to join you in the dungeons of Dragon’s Crown, and thanks to Cross-Play you can even go adventuring with your buddies who have PS3s.

Just got info from PS Support. Dragon’s Crown for PS3 is NOT FREE. i Repeat, NOT FREE but discounted.

Although i suspect SONY PS Store is bugged. If you already BUY dragon;s crown for PS Vita, you can’t get free PS3 version from PS Plus. The billing system think that Dragon’s Crown is CROSSBUY although it does not.
+AlexAntares how are you trying to download? It’s still showing giving me an error when trying to purchase on PC. Are people going through the store on a console?
my bad, posted before finished chatting with ps spport. He/she finally confirm that the game is free but need to wait for a few hours.
The Store has been updated, only Dragon’s Crown is SHOWN has being 19,99 but if you click on the tile, it brings you to the same free download frame as the other games.
Although Sony makes it hard to access the game line-ups, and you have to either go to “arrival” or to your account on the online PSN website, if the cross-platform title were only available to one platform I’d feel used and it would’ve been crap.
BUT, since as a PS3 user I get Crysis 3, and 3 of the best Indie Game of these last years, this is one of the BEST PS+ release, and F%CK the tasteless couch potatoes sc%ms who don’t like indie games.
It seems to be working fine on the ps3 for me now. Downloading right now. Still shows up as $19.99 and didn’t work in my browser.
Dragons Crown for PS3 is now working although it crashed the ps store when I went to DL it. Signed back in and it had a shopping bag next to it and was able to DL it then. The price is now a crossed out $49.99 and says free for plus members. You should be able to get it on ps3 now.
OK I finally got it to work on PC. This is what I did:
1. Sign out of your account
2. On the store find Dragon’s Crown. It will show as 49.99 but also say “Free for PS Plus”
3. Add to cart and sign in when prompted
4. It will add to your cart as Free and you can check out.
This is the only way I could get it to work. If I was signed in when I added it I would get the error. Also, I did this for the PS3 version not the PS Vita version.

Once you download Dragon’s Crown for your Vita you will be able to get a free copy of the PS3 version. It definitely works despite not being a true cross-buy. My free PS3 copy is installing now. Great month to be a PS+ subscriber imo. Thank you Sony.
Not to be ungrateful or anything, but once again, nothing but Indie titles on the PS4. I have 2 PS3s, a PS4 and a Vita. I was a launch day adopter who pre-ordered the day the console was announced. The PS4 has been out for almost a year, now. Isn’t it about time that PS+ subscribers got something better than these nickel and dime titles that could just have easily been (and in some cases have) been ported to a Vita?

Purchased it on Vita, went in to the PC Store and it is now Showing up as Purchased for PS3, so it is now Set to DL when I get home.
+ mikec8785 I got it from the PC storefront, I refreshed the page until it appeared as “free”, added it to the cart and proceeded as normal, the PS3 version only. the Vita version still appears as 19,99 on my page though
UPDATE: they both appear free and I can confirm it’s downloading normally

Great work yet again, folks who put the IGC monthly games together. Things were really great last month when the format changed, and this offering with all the spectacular cross-platform games blows that great month out of the water. Cheers on not just bringing Dragon’s Crown but bringing it multi-platform. Can’t wait to see what happens next month!

Why i can’t find crysis 3 on the psn list?
When trying to DL “Fez” for Vita, I get this error message, “You are not eligible to download or purchase this content.”

I wish Sony payed more attention to PSN users from countries outside Europe and North America. I’m from an Asian country and the differing content and services we get is frustrating. No movie services, no pre-ordering (which means we can’t get our hands on betas), no demos, some games which I would really like on PSN aren’t available (like the Telltale games which I never got the chance to play), PS Now probably won’t come to us anytime soon and the only available app is the IGN app. I’ve come to terms with all this but it truly is morally derailing especially when Plus content is not the same. Last month, there was Deadspace 3 on Plus which was not available in my region and I was like wtf but whatever, ain’t a fan of it but now comes Crysis 3 and it ain’t available. Freaking facepalm. Being someone who has owned every Sony console since the PS1, this just agitates the hell out of me.
Already deleted Proteus and Metrico, would never have played/paid for them if they weren’t on plus. Starting to get into Fez but don’t see what all the buzz was about and will be good to get into Crysis 3, though not sure if I’ve already played it.
XboxOne is looking really good compared to PS4 im getting tired of indie games that dont interest me. Sure they’re neato riffick but im soo bored and no money. I have lost weight cause im not playing on my $400 dollar Youtube machine. I play on my 360 more butnow my only controller is dead so yea good luck PlayStation

I am NOT happy at all with the PS4 PS+ nor am I happy with 90% of the console’s games being Indie! Im sorry, but I did not pay 400.00 to play Indie games. Nor am I happy with the console support itself. I have 0 interest in Share factory. I want MP3/4/CD support along with External HDD. I want to be able to add My music to my games with out being press-ganged into a Music Unlimited sub. I also Find it disturbing that your Music sub service is the only one allowed.. Finally, while I do not care for E.A., I do care for consumer choice. And fact is, E.A.’s Sub service is a pretty good deal and it’s Light years better than the overpriced and restrictive PS NOW service. OPTIONS is what’s best for the Consumer!
While I love gaming on any platform that is gamer friendly, I have been a PS supporter since year-1 of PS 1. And while Sony has mad some mistakes, I have always loved you guys and over all been happy with your products/service and understood when I wasn’t (600.00 PS-3) Ever since PS4 PS-4 has launched you guys have done a complete turn around. I find it disturbing the direction you are taking the PS-4 and your lack of meaningful communication with your fan base. The “PR Blinders” Are becoming a bit tiresome.

I can’t believe people are complaining about FREE games. I don’t care if they are indie or AAA. They’re FREE. They may not be you’re favorite genre, they may not be best-sellers. WHO CARES?! They’re FREE! I already had Dragon’s Crown and FEZ, and the others didn’t interest me really, but this is still a solid lineup. Way to go Sony!
