It’s that time again!
In a shocking upset, last month’s top PS4 title on PlayStation Store was Injustice: Gods Among Us, beating out even the mighty The Last of Us Remastered (hello, Photo Mode!) I’m assuming the fact that Injustice was $8.40 for PS Plus members had something to do with that. Moving on, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes rounded out PS4’s top three, while Rogue Legacy and Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty made strong debuts.

Ha Yep, I grabbed Injustice on sale.
@Justin It would be really great if we could get a pre-order lists added to the monthly stats for platforms. With the US store we have to pay at the time of pre-order so it should make for a valid list (EU is charged on game release).
The Legend of Dragoon #1!!! I love that game it should definitely get a remake. I got the injustice game because it was so cheap and of course I’m playing the crap out of TLOUR and Minecraft ps3.
Why you are putting the PS Vita games so below in the post, after the PS3 and PS4 add-ons? Where the PS Vita add-ons list? And why the Vita game list only goes to the TOP 10? Sony should care more about Vita.
The price tag helped a lot and it is a pretty good game.
For $8 bucks of course I got injustice! Have the ps3 version but the game is amazing on ps4.
I’ll admit: I also bought Injustice on BOTH PS4 & Vita, as well as LEGO Marvel Super Heroes on PS4. I just couldn’t resist at that price! Would be great to see more sales like that! ESPECIALLY the $.99 flash sales! Loved grabbing up some of those PS1 classics.
Also, nice to see that the season finale of The Wolf Among Us made it in the PS3 add-on top 10! Really great series!
Look at all those PSone classics, great games, demanded games, games people still buy, a lot. Games, Sony doesn’t want to sell ON PS4!!!! Why? Why can’t you transfer our PS Classics purchases to PS4, why can’t you put them on the PS4 store, don’t you want keep making money selling those Classics? Brainless….
I think it’s pretty impressive that Child of Light is #3, considering that it’s about the only non-discounted game on the list.

The Last of Us: Remastered also released at the very end of the month, so the fact it’s number 2 is incredible. Injustice had a great sale last month, so it makes sense.

Bought Injustice on PS4. For $8.40 I couldn’t say no. I also bought the Last of Us remastered and The Legend of Dragoon. Again for $0.99 I can’t pass that up! Thank you Sony!

I guess i’m not wrong about that Injustice discount has been the best sale for a PS4 games until now, I bought it and i still don’t own the console lol. I hope can buy it very soon (Batman and Shadow of mordor are a must :))

Fantastic sales last month! Picked up Injustice and Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate for Vita, and I loved Injustice so much that I double dipped for PS4. I also nabbed a few PS1 Classics from the Flash sale: Dino Crisis 1 & 2, Legend of Dragoon, Harvest Moon, and Tekken 2.

I’ve pre-ordered “The Last of Us” and I bought LEGEND OF DRAGOON for PS Classic
For August I bought Final Fantasy X/X-2 for $19.99 because of Square Enix discounts on PS that will end 11 August , although i have the game on my VITA , but i want to play it on both PS3 & VITA using the cloud save system that transfers the save data between the two systems.
I bought Injustice on PS4, Batman Arkham Origins on PS3, and Batman Akham Origins Blackgate on PS Vita. I never buy digital versions of games that have physical copies available, but the Superhero sale last month was too great to pass up!
Forgot about the $.99 sale, where I bought Dino Crisis 2 and Wild Arms 2. Looks people bought the same games as me last month!
I mostly bought games for my vita since I don’t have a ps4. Got injustice and batman arkham origins blackgate and I got some odd the persona games. P3P is awesome. FYI atlus is having a sale now people there classics(P1-P4) for $5
Yup… $8 is too good a deal to pass up. I may never play it again in another month but it will be there whenever I need a good couch multiplayer game.
@22: Those were my games as well but since I just bought Origins on physical disc, I passed that one (I was tempted, though)
You know, dropping PSM games from this list isn’t going to help the perception that you guys have ended support for that developer iniativie. I know that you haven’t, but there’s a lot of misinformation out there this week.
I also don’t see why anyone needs to see the best selling DLC for both PS3 and PS4. Just make a combined DLC list and mention platforms in the brackets.
Lastly, the Top Downloads section of the Vita store hasn’t been updated in months.
FYI! If you caught Legend of Dragoon on that 99 cent sale, you can play it on the Vita by downloading it first to the ps3 and then transferring it to the Vita.
The best selling game for the PS4 on PSN last month was Injustice, doing even better than TLoU. Not bad for a year old game. See what happens when you do massive discounts? Even I got rid of my disc version for this. I hope they look at this and start doing these flash sales even more frequently bc will buy (and even rebuy) if the price is too good to pass up
The Last of Us was $50 { the game released on July 29, pre-order started from MAY}
INJUSTICE was $8.40
So seeing The Last of Us in the second place is more than great for a game that has been released before three days of the month end.
Sad to see Vita’s list , shame on you SONY AMERICA! At most 2-3 console-like vita games per year would had been okay but completely abandoning AAA title to vita is a hgue slap to us who bought the vita.
Right now the vita’s path is going down to smartphone quality games which we can usually get cheaper for 1$ on our smartphones! At first I thought 3ds games are for kids, but looking at Vita now it’s like a smartphone with dedicated controls. 3ds games are way better than smartphone games.

I am one of many others who purchased those GREAT Vita games like Batman, Lego, + yesterday picked Final Fantasy X/X-2 (FOR VITA!!!!)
It’s not only about the games we purchased this month – WE PAID TO GET THIS CONSOLE!!!
I do ont understand why you are holding back the full Vitas experince and functionality?
We cannot even swap account normally like PS3 did – Ok… no problem… could you at least make full PSP + PSONE compatibility????
If not, then pleae make a massive firmware update so we can download from different accounts like every PS3 used does!!!!!!!

Why add the Classics section now? Why not in a month when we can see which games sell consistenty better without the help of a discount? It just seems really sketchy.
I bought injustice for the ps4 I sold my non ultimate 360 version to gamestop for 12$ lol , I also got last of us ..it would be nice for more ps vita love sony ..I like how you added the ps classics too. Keep up the good work sony

The Super hero Sale was great.
Loved the .99¢ flash sale on games I buy for nostalgia reasons, though I have been known to boot them up now and again.
Especially for someone just now playing Max Payne 3 from last sale I bought it from.
Just lost Plus, though I have another year in my pocket for now.
But nice seeing the game library I can still have access to, from all of your sales.
That and not having them lost, stolen, or broken.

Injustice is a good game, but I hope Netherrealm studios learns how to model faces without abusing the nasolabial fold. Also, a lot of characters have really botox-y complexions.
Top PS1 Classics…. nice nice, you know what would be a top seller Crash and Spyro for North American PS Vita users!!! A bit of a stretch I know but come on its not fair that the other regions have it and not the North American Vita users. We love Crash and Spyro, played them when they came out and wish to bring that nostalgia with us on the go, no reason for them to be not available to download to NA Vitas!!!

Would love to see more $0.99 sales in the future, I haven’t touched anything except the freebies from PSPlus on the store in quite some time, but that was just too good of a deal to pass up. a bit disheartened to see PS Classic releases slowing down on the store, hasn’t been much except for ATLUS releasing content there lately (which I am NOT complaining about, the SMT series is great)… Thinking of taking advantage of the Squenix sale going on right now but still flip-flopping over whether or not to purchase some of the titles..
Legend of Dragoon been top seller for PSOne classics a lot. Its time for a sequel!

I have to laugh when I read the vita list just before the classics and after the add-on lists. It truly is the red headed step child of Sony.
I have a ps3 the last of us game keeps locking up I Played over 3 times what should I do ted.
I am mostly doing my best to patiently await skyrim’s release on ps4. Finally there won’t be lagging and freezing since the processing power will be up to par with the game. Sadly I fear that may not happen for awhile.
