I just played the pinball arcade game and was thinking about the getting the tables. This seals the deal. Perfect timing. This game is way better then Zen Pinball FX 2. Unless your into over the top imaginary pinball games, then it’s for you.
Sony sales, PS Updates and PS+ games have become less and less relevant since the format change. I used to spend my entire Monday/Tuesday on this forum and start missing the whole thing by the Thursday. And the cycle repeated itself, until July. Now, there is nothing here – its just hollow. No sales, not enough updates; heck, not even a reply to any of the posts (there are 100+ posts so far, no?)
Is this Sony’s way of saying “screw you guys, we got 10 million new users; we dont have time to be friendly.”? Its just sad. Anyways, I was just passing by and thought to post few lines, for old times sake…
@10 @22 @33 @41 Seems like its a global problem. A lot of us have it, or got it free from ps plus last year, yet it asks me to purchase it again. Hopefully it’ll get fixed.
I want Tales of Graces f to be on sale. I really want to play that game but not for $35. I say we need another flash sale. Or a jrpg sale would be nice too. I bought Tales of Xillia in March on a flash sale for $15. And to this day it’s still not that cheap anywhere. When the psn has a sale, they know how to have one (usually).
Great update, I’m going to spend the entire day replaying Hotline Miami on the PS4.
I cannot fathom why Plants vs. Zombies is $10 more on the PS4. Way too many developers seem to be doing this when it comes to cross-generation games, and it’s a surefire way to make sure I just don’t buy it at all.
For two dollars, Zeno Clash 2 is a steal. Just know that when you boot it up; things will get weird. Enjoy the ride, it’s a refreshing atmospheric change from the modern games we’ve all grown accustomed to.

Sony must not like money, because these sales lately have been weak.
Same for me… Purchased Hotline Miami for PS3/Vita back in June 2013 when it released, however the PS4 version is not showing up as free for me. In fact according to the store, I don’t own any version of the game. Checked the PS3 store and Hotline Miami there also asks me to pay the current $9.99/7.99. The PS3/Vita versions do appear in my download history though, as I definitely bought the game at release for $9.99

Hot Line Miami it’s cross buy!?
Just dropping into say that currently there is a problem with the cross-buy for Hotline Miami. It is showing me, and I believe a lot of users, the listing price and is asking us to purchase the game even if we already have.
For me, this is only on the PS4 store, but I’ve heard others say it’s happening on all 3 stores (Vita, PS3, PS4), regardless of if they own it or not.
Is this a known issue right now? Can we expect a time frame of when it will be fixed? I hate switching back and forth between my PS3/PS4, and Hotline Miami is one such reason I do so. I was looking forward to a smooth download, but now I just want to inquire about a fix :)
Yeah I have the same problem. I have Hotline Miami for both PS3 + Vita and it wants to charge me for the PS4 version. It also shows that I don’t own the PS3 or Vita versions on the store but I see them in my purchase history. Contacted support and got the infamous copy/pasted blow off line “We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. At this moment the PlayStation®Network is down for maintenance. We appreciate your patience and understanding please try accessing the PlayStation®Network at a later time.”
I asked him if they were aware of the problem but this guy didn’t even want to hear about the problem and just told me next time check the PSN maintenance page like that has anything to do with bad store listings. It’s sad that after all the money that a lot of us spend on the hardware and games that we can’t even get a straight answer
These support guys are a joke. They can’t even speak to people. All they know how to do is copy/paste text from the support site. My only suggestion to people with the same problem is to just try back another day. Maybe by then they’ll have their act together
Hohokum Sound Shapes DLC isn’t there, but I got it already from preorder, so no biggie. I got Diablo III at retail and getting Kung Fu Rabbit today.

I love cross buys specially when it doesn’t work.
I have the PS3/Vita version on my download list BUT the PSN Store is trying to charge me for each copy on SEN Store and on Ps4 PSN STORE
So I got off the phone with support regarding the Hotline Miami crossbuy issue. When I got the game in June of 2013 initially I used some credit from GameStop and bought the code for Hotline Miami. I am now being told that GameStop manages the license for the game and that’s why crossbuy is not working. This does not seem to be the case as they only sell the codes, not the access to PSN. Why would I be told to contact gamestop support to manage a blatant PSN store issue? Any answers would be appreciated.
You were told that because that’s a typical PSN Support blow off technique. They’ve done it to me several times when they were clearly in the wrong and eventually after contacting support several times and finally demanding to speak to a supervisor or “account specialist” the issues were always corrected
They’ve taken down Hotline Miami for purchase on all 3 platforms. They’re fixing the problem
It seems like I don’t visit the store as often now since PS+ changed. Maybe it’s just me but I always looked forward to Tuesdays and would browse the store a bit. Now not so much.
Hotline Miami workaround that worked for me

1.) Go to PSN/SEN online store
2.) Log In
3.) Search Hotline Miami using the search bar in top right
4.)It should pull up Hotline Miami for the ps4, ps3 and psvita and will have “Free” beside the cart
4.)Click free for your console of choice and it should add it to your cart
5.) purchase it and go to download queue
6.) Download to whichever console you picked
All you who paid for Hotline Miami on PS3 and are having issues… Go to settings… Then PSN… To restore licenses and do that about 10 times and turn off ps4 then turn on and do it one more time. I got mine to work that way and had to go on here to help. :)

I know my comment will get lost in the shuffle here and likely won’t get a response but here goes.. $60 is a really extreme price for The new Diablo bundle and it’s sad that there’s no affordable option for people who already bought it on psn or disc.. At least a discount if you purchased it on psn would be appreciated… If $20 out of that $60 is for the core Diablo3 game then reaper of souls expansion should be $30-40. I think that is fair instead of making customers repurchase a game they already own. It’s unfair that PC gamers do not have to worry about this but console gamers need to repurchase the core game again to play the expansions.
Can I just ask why Rygar is so expensive? $8 seems a little high for a 20+ year old arcade port that doesn’t even add anything to it. I think $5 would have been the sweet spot for this game. Sure, you’d make less money on each copy, but you’d sell more copies. As it is it’s priced itself out of at least one sale – probably a lot more than you realize
It was simply amazing that I spent numerous downloading a 15 gig game, then I had to do an update? Really? When are you people going to get off of your laurels and have everything ready to go with the download, especially since you made such a big deal out of the expanded diablo game.
So there’s a bunch of add-ons available for a game that won’t be released for another few weeks? What is the point of that? Just wondering.
@favian I have a feeling the reason is because we’re in a between period for retail and digital sales on consoles. Although they offered upgrade programs for a few launch titles as an incentive to get a PS4 ***and*** buy a game you were interested in for your PS3 at the time. All it has to do with is licensing. For physical copies it’s pretty difficult as the publisher would have to essentially give two versions of games away (PS3 and PS4 being different games developed) for one price and then you could go and sell your physical copy and get the PS4 version for less than retail potentially. With digital, again, you paid $60 one time and if you ask for a $20 upgrade path… Do they void your PS3 version? Or offer you two games for $40 each (below retail price)? Unfortunately due to these issue from their end, it inconveniences us the consumers until they figure something out.

Besides the usual Atlus sales it’s a pretty meh week. Some new PSOne Classics would REALLY be nice for a change….

There is an upgrade path. It’s called buying the expansion for the PS3 version of the game that you already own. Costs $40, just like when the expansion released for PC.
The PS4 version is a newly programmed port of the game, with a higher resolution and frame rate, and better looking textures (I can vouch for this, as I played the demo on PS3 last year, and the PS4 version looks miles better), as well as taking into account all the new system features.
As the expansion alone is already $40, I think a $20 upgrade fee to get the original 4 Acts of Diablo 3 on PS4 is a pretty good deal. Some companies would have charged full retail just for the base game on PS4, then wanted the other $40 for the expansion on top of it.
Seriously, gamers are so entitled these days.

Once again, Sony & the team behind Sound Shapes has lied again! First they said it would be released last week but that was a lie & they ended up saying, “oh it’s coming next week! We promise, derp!” Now that day has arrived, once again they lied & guess what? They (sound shapes) tweeted a message by saying it will be available NEXT week which I highly doubt. It is clearly obvious that either Sony or Sound Shapes team is doing this on purpose because they want people to buy Hohokum in order to get the DLC. Sorry Sony but I am not going to pay full price for a game that I don’t want in order to get the 99¢ DLC. I am VERY disappointed in Sony & the team behind Sound Shapes, depending on whose idea was it to do this VERY shady business tactic. I am just glad that I didn’t take the bait by buying the Hohokum game because Sony/Sound Shapes Team is not going to fool me with this shady decision. Fans realized that the 99¢ DLC was not available to buy from the PSN Store last week & today, they most likely bought the game because they couldn’t wait any longer for the DLC.
I remember it was said that digital versions of games would cost less. So why are they full price?
Arcade Archives? Wow I hope this is a new feature going forward, similar to the PS3. I would also love classic games from other consoles, like the PC Engine/Turbo Grafx 16, similar to the PS3, but with more available titles.
Classic gaming is something I love to support.
Diablo 3 is amazing on PS4. I’ve been playing on PC since it originallty launched, spent around 200 hours between PC and 360 and the Ultimate Evil Edition really brings a lot of new features that make the game feel really fresh. This game has just sucked me right back in. So much for my personal life.
#138 Madden isn’t getting a demo anymore. It is only getting early access in EA’s program EA Access. Unfortunately Sony didn’t want anything to do with that service. Most likely they didn’t want it to take away business from their own services PS+ and PSNow. So Sony let Micro$oft one up them, EA Access is exclusively only available on the Xbox One. So if you wish to try out Madden 15, it will have to be on the XBone.

why is pinball arcade free for all 3 platforms, yet my game file says its going to expire when my ps+ does?
even on the store site, it says “free” before i sign in with no (see:0) reflection that its only free with ps+. its free across the board, ps+ or not. you fail.
