Did you catch any of the news coming out of Tokyo Game Show this week? We published our fair share of stories on this here PlayStation.Blog, so if you’re looking for a little Sunday reading feel free to head to that there front page and scroll down a bit.

Two of my highlights: Bloodborne comes out in February (that’s pretty soon!) and Destiny is officially the biggest PS4 release yet. Makes sense — I’ve played it every day with no intention of stopping soon. My pals and I are taking on the Vault of Glass today… wish us luck!

    Playing: Destiny. Trying to obtain armor and such with higher light ratings. Still enjoying Control.
    Watching: Watched Justin try to beat some Titan boss in FFXV – ouch man! But I am watching old episodes of Leverage on Netflix. Miss that show and Lie to Me, too…)
    Listening: Lecrae’s Anomaly and Ben Rector’s Live in Denver

    Playing Vita – Ethan meteor hunter ( better than reviews suggest at 3.99 ), Asphalt Injection ( could have been great ), WRC 3 ( nice, if you just like plain ol’ racing ), and backlogged Mega Man X4, X5, and Maverick Hunter along with Tomb Raider Underworld and Split Second.
    Watching – FF Advent Children, The Nut Job, and House (wife) on Netflix.
    Reading – PS Blog and vitamin facts.
    Listening – to some of the OST on WRC 3.

    Decent sales this week.

    Now when do we see some discounts on those RPG games and a Square Enix sale on Parasite Eve?

    So any news on NA getting the Bloodborne Alpha? I know people in the UK have gotten e-mails about it and it was announced that Japan will be taking sign ups on the 24th or something. What about us? I really want to get my hands on it for a bit (or permanently if we could get an actual demo instead of a limited time play test like Dark Souls II was). =p

    You distinctly forgot to mention Final Fantasy Type – 0 HD coming March 17th, 2015 to the US. Which will include a voucher for a demo of FF XV that is 4 hours long. This is huge mews, why was this not mentioned on the Blog?

    You guys missed the biggest news coming out of TGS 2014 and didn’t post it here on the blog!

    Final Fantasy Type-0 HD coming March 17, 2015 and includes a demo of Final Fantasy XV.

    Final Fantasy XV new trailer and live demo from TGS.

    Really disappointed you guys didn’t post about those two games.

    That new Bloodborne trailer is gorgeous, I can’t stop watching it! That and the FFXV gameplay trailer have finally got me excited about the PS4.

    I’m playing GTA Chinatown Wars and trying to play Dragon Quest on my LG G3 but they need to patch it first.
    I’m watching Hannibal, The Blacklist and my Raiders lose yet again.

    Any resason for why Final Fantasy Type 0 and XV weren’t posted on the blog? Biggest games of Tokyo Game show were completely ignored here :(

    Tokyo Game Show 2014 had a fair bit of interesting news, not least for PS Vita.

    There was news about a follow-up to Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment (though the new game’s name and platform/s have yet to be revealed). There’ll be more news on that one at a Dengeki Bunko event on the 5th of October.

    Plus, Hyperdimention Neptunia Re;Birth3 V Century (a Vita port of PS3’s HDN: Victory) was announced, while more was teased about Victory II for PS4.

    It was a shame to se Persona 4: Dancing All Night pushed back to 2015, and I hope that the recently-announced change in development (with the Persona Team taking up the reins and Dingo taking more of a back seat) won’t negatively impact the project – or make it even later for Atlus USA to get the game out here in North America.

    But overall, the Vita did well at ths year’s TGS. Hopefully a good portion of the new and upcoming games set for the platform in Japan will eventually make their way over to the West.

    Playing – Dark Souls 2 – I’m a little behind on the Dark Souls bandwagon, but now I’m all aboard. Can’t wait for Bloodborne, it looks amazing.
