SUIKODEN it’s totally playable on PS Vita… I have it on mine, I bought it when it was available for two or three days, but for some reason it’s not included now on the PS Store.
I hope this is the first step before a Suikoden 2 release for PS Vita next week.

Noooo!!!!!!! I got all excited with the Konami sale and all the Castlevania titles listed. I scroll and I double and triple check, but alas, no Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles on sale for the Vita/PSP. I’ve been waiting for tjat one to go on sale for a while now :(.

For anyone wondering about Suikoden and Metal Gear Solid being playable on the vita, you can get them on the vita but there is a catch. I don’t know why it was set up that way or what but the only way to get them on a vita is own a PS3.
Steps
1. Download to PS3
2. Go to Content manager on PS Vita with the vita connected to the PS3
3. Selected Copy Content downloaded on PS3
4. Congrads you know have these titles on your vita
These steps also work with a bunch of other games that for some reason don’t show up in the store. However for some reason Sony went out of its way to make sure that a handful of specific titles could not be loaded on the ps vita through this method, they are the Crash games and Spyro games. At least in the USA these games are available to be played on vita in both Japan and Europe but not here that is just straight up BS.
Yeah, we know about the ps3 transfer method… but on the site it is listed as ps3/psp/psvita which is incorrect…. not everyone has a ps3 to do a transfer
Everytime I try to download Additional Character 1: Tohru Adachi, I get an error. And I can’t find Additional Character 2: Marie.
Both are from Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.
Why can’t the Ps4 access PsX and Ps2 games again? Starting to see what it means to be a Vita owner it’s like Sony forgot about us.

There’s a bunch of free dlc listed for Shadow of Mordor in this post, but I’m not seeing it on the store. Is that stuff supposed to be bundled in with the season pass and not free separate from that? I’m a bit confused

And for God’s sake, someone at SCEA needs to tell the Japanese branch to update the PS3’s emulators for PS1 games. More upscaling options, some nice anti-aliasing, and a custom controller remapping.
These are all things the PSP and Vita can do; why leave PS3 owners in the dark for so long? Sony pls, just do it as a farewell package to last-gen!

Can you please combine the two sales tables (PS Plus and those without PS Plus) into a single table!!!!!!???
This is so hard to read, with duplicated entries among them. It’s futile to try and plow through the two tables and pick up anything of interest, I always end up just hitting the store for a complete combined list instead. It is as though two of you guys created the tables separately and you guys could not work together.
Just give us a single table, with a column on PS Plus discounted price (leave it blank if an item does not have additional PS Plus discount) and regular discounted price. Don’t make us do SQL table joins mentally.
Are the two new invizimals games released only digital or will there be a retail version of them as I don’t usually download full PS3 games onto my system since digital version of games take up more data then a retail version of the game?.

On the Store, when it comes to sales, I’d like to see the original price instead of a slashmark through the non-Plus sale price. Because that “Save 10%” on the sale items is a lie.

Where is the DLC for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax? If I don’t see the DLC this week, this is considered false advertising. Even Skullgirls Encore’s Eliza character isn’t on the webstore either. It better be there by today.
Picked up Shadow of Mordor this morning. It wasn’t on my radar (not a big fantasy guy), but the reviews and the videos I’ve seen got me pumped. Looks like a blast. And hats off publishers with enough faith in their product to send out review copies without a release-day embargo. It was nice to see all the Shadow of Mordor reviews popping up throughout the week leading up to the release. Don’t see that too much anymore with big games.

How is charging $20 more for Natual Doctrine on ps4 justified? Pricing on ps4 is a big issue for me. Im also sick of indies being $15.
I see the Mirror of Fate sale for PS3. So Castlevania Mirror of Fate is on that other handheld (3DS) but not on Vita. I have a PS3 and PS4, but would rather play a game like this on the Vita than on PS3. If the other handheld can handle it, so can the Vita. Sony: Vita is so much better than 3DS, but you guys need to get games like Castlevania, Resident Evil Revelations and others that the other handheld has. Talk to Konami, Capcom, and other publishers and bring these over.
I don’t like to complain, but how is an extra $20 justifiable to get Natural Doctrine on PS4? The visuals have been downgraded so that the game looks exactly the same on PS4 as it does on PS3 and Vita, and besides a bonus mission pack (which may or may not have been just for pre-orders) they are the same too in content.
Seems like unreasonable price gouging to me.
I take back what I said about my previous comment (71), the DLC of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Skullgirls Encore is there at the webstore now. Thought the store was done updating by the time this blog post was posted, guess it wasn’t completely and I should have known. Anyway now that I got the Adachi and Marie free, I can’t wait to play as those two whenever I get Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Won’t be buying it right away since I’m saving up for other games and maybe some good sales.
@Kristine Steimer Uh… it’s not a big deal but the Skullgirls Eliza download has a spelling error, instead of Skullgirls Encore: Eliza Character Unlock, it actually says Skulgirls Encore: Eliza Character Unlock, just figured I’d let ya know.
For those trying to figure why they don’t see the original PS1 version of MGS showing on the Vita/Vita PSN storefront—you won’t. It wasn’t specifically tailored for the Vita as it was adaptable to PSP (and PS3 b/c of it’s own PS1 emulation abilities too), at the time. So in essence the store won’t consider the Vita as the ‘appropriate’ system to show the game in-store for.
The method you’ll have to use to get it on your Vita has to come directly from downloading it onto your PS3 (if you still have one or can at least borrow some time w/ someone else’s). From there you’d have to do a transfer of that onto you Vita–much like you would if you have had a PSP and you’ve transferred PS1 games before on that–by connecting it (wireless/wired) to your PS3 and in conjunction w/ using Content Manager. I’m sure sound kinda intimidating but really it’s not as heavy as it sounds (I did a while back w/ the last MGS sales and it’s been on my Vita since).

Nobody cares about ps now, it is way to expensive to even mess with.. Your pricing needs to come way down, it’s renting not purchasing the game..

Do you think it would be possible for Sony to offer one free game a month for everyone on PSN, not just PSPlus members? Just one game a month chosen by Sony from any of the games available on PSN (playable on PS3). So that would include Digital PS3 titles, PSN Titles, PSone and PS2 classics, and Minis. I’m mostly talking about a celebratory send-off of the PS3! A build up to the PS3′s 10 year anniversary in November 2016! That would be the end date of the program.
I know one game a month to millions of PSN members is a lot to ask, especially since you’re already stumping up for PS Plus, but these would be games everyone could get and keep without a subscription, and just one game a month. And a great way to build up to the celebration of PS3′s ten year anniversary!

I wish I had read about Suikoden not working with the vita. I don’t have a ps3 to do the transfer file thing and now I have a game I can’t even play.
the namco museum games are NOT compatable , even though on the ps3 store it says they are. I just wanted to LEGALLY play pac-man & dragon spirit, but I guess you dont want me to. feels like I wasted my money because the store lied.

Natural Doctrine for 40 on vita????? WTF?? Freedom wars is gonna cost 30 and is a waaaay better and bigger game. It’s too much for a game full of bad reviews and scores online… I better wait until it becomes free on ps plus someday…

I’m excited that Invizimals:The Alliance is getting a digital release today, but… I pre-ordered the physical copy of the game way back in May and the Amazon.com page is still showing a December 31, 2014 release date. So how is this digital release going to affect the physical release? Will there just not be a physical release at all?
For crying out loud, include the Season Passes in the box as an incentive to buy the games new… like you USED to…. like the ORIGINAL intent of the Season Pass was!

Any chance at a bundle of all the Namco Museums? $30 for all of them seems a little steep. Even if a bundle saves five bucks, I’d be more likely to go for it. Until then, I’ll have to hold off on the most interesting part of this update. (And honestly, the most interesting PSOne Classics update in a long time.)

I think you’re thinking of the online pass? The online pass was always to discourage used purchases, whereas the season pass was a way to get more money out of ALL customers. Publishers can’t charge more than $59.99 for a base game, so they get around that by offering optional things to try to get $20 or so more out of customers. I buy a lot of brand-new games and don’t recall ever getting a season pass for free.
how does Battlefield 4 Full Game Trial (168 Hours) work? do you need to play the 168 hrs straight or can you take Minute by Minute?
I see some good deals now but others are bad. How about DLC deals on MGS games, lol. :) I hope PS4 Slim gets release soon and price at $350-300. If you keep it at $400 then
@96, It should be like other timed trials, the clock starts ticking when you first launch the game (after any patch download/installation, if necessary). Once started, the clock does not pause regardless you are playing or not, regardless your Playstation is turned on or not. It’s real-world time of 168 Hrs (or whatever period). No use trying to change the system clock on your Playstation either :).
If you downloaded/installed and do not launch the game at all, there is also an expiry date tied to the downloaded game, so you can’t drag it out forever.
@67, If this is like the previous trial, then you will get trophies… sort of. You will still get the trophies but they are only recorded on your Playstation, they are not sync’ed to the server and will not be accounted for in your total trophies. If later you buy the game, then those trophies you previously earned in the trial will become active and sync’ed.

That’s still an incredibly inconvenient process, and it’s simply sloppy management that SCEA doesn’t make content that’s already playable on Vita readily available through the Vita store.
