Today, Activision announced that as an added benefit, for a limited time, all PS3 digital purchases of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will also receive the PS4 version for free. In addition to this upgrade offer, if you purchase the PS4 version of the game, you will receive the PS3 version through our cross-buy program.
This limited time-offer also applies to all DLC purchased for in-game use, including the Season Pass. Additionally, all stats and in-game progress upgrades will transfer for free, with no deadline.

Q: When I buy/redeem the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Digital Base Game, Digital Pro Edition, or Season Pass for PS3 or PS4, how do I get the other version?
A: When you buy/redeem the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Digital Base Game, Digital Pro Edition, or Season Pass for PS3 or PS4 by March 31st, 2015, you can download the other version from the PlayStation Store for free by doing the following:
- Log into your console using the same Sony Entertainment Network Account (PSN ID) used to buy/redeem the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Digital Base Game or Season Pass.
- Navigate to the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare content page for the version of the game you want to download.
- Add the item to your cart and complete the transaction.
- Wait for the download to complete.
Please Note: Season Pass content (which includes DLC 1, 2, 3 & 4) will only be available for full download once released.
Q: I already pre-ordered the game, am I still eligible for this promotion?
A: Absolutely! Simply follow the instructions in the first question above to access your content.
Q: Will pre-loading work for both versions? When can I access the free version of the game?
A: The game will pre-load for the console version you paid for. You can access the other version on November 3rd, 2014 by following the instructions in the first question.
Q: When does this offer expire?
A: For full game free upgrades, this offer expires on March 31st, 2015. This means that you must buy/redeem Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare digitally on or before this date to be eligible for the free upgrade. All DLC purchased for in-game use, including Season Pass, upgrades for free with no deadline.

i know on the PS4 store its says 2 days before lunch but that is TOO LATE ! Considering also there will be a Day Zero access make that ONLY 1 DAY to download the 46.2 GB Game !! Oh damn thats the biggest file i’ll get download to date !

Misleading information! I just read another article from today on IGN and it says you must buy the PS3 version for the ‘Free Upgrade,’ and I purchased the PS4 version the day I read this crap!
But here say that this is a Cross Buy, so they need respect this offer. By the way, I bought the digital PS4 version due to this offer too.

Well, for Me the Call of Duty Franchise was just a cheap way to develop games and earn money. Now, I’m really looking this game. The Cross Buy “offer” is GREAT and I hope this can be the beginning for a new Activision Company, focusing on make GREAT games (money will follow, Im sure). I wonder when We will be able to play Cross-System Games (SONY, Microsoft, PC and iMac users).
If I go into GAMESTOP and buy the digital form of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from them for PS3… will I still qualify for the free upgrade to PS4 when I buy a PS4?

Relax everyone that are being prompted to pay for their 2nd(free) copy. In the article they have said that you will not be able to download your free copy until the game is released.

This is a total scam! I preordered this game via PS4 and I should be able to download the PS3 version as well and it tells me I have to buy it again. I completed the order on the ps3 up to the credit card info and it said in fact that it was going to charge it again. What a lie SONY! fix your ****!
So everyone knows and I don’t see the reply you can only get the early access on one consol you have to wait for the full launch of the game on 11/4 to get it that is what I assume 11/3 is the early access day guys so be patient
