  • Have a great Sunday, everyone!

  • Yay! Binding of Isaac!

  • Thanks a lot Ryan!

November will be a really busy month for us :)
Question: Will How to Survive PS4 edition be cross-buy or avaliable if you already have it on PS3? (I’ll buy it anyway.Really funny game)

Have a great sunday too and even greater start of the month, BEYOND!

  • Beyond!
Love the drop, looking forward to trying out Advanced Warfare and the new slew of PS+ games for November!

  • Woo rebirth, purchase on all the things!

  • Is The wolf among us cross-buy?

  • Where are the psone & ps2 classics? BTW ps2 classics should be playable on ps4 and vita!!

  • As a paying customer I am quite happy with everything that has been both dropped here and dropped in the past.

    Drop on, dudes!

  • Advanced Warfare :D Good thing I have today, Monday, and Tuesday off. Let’s see how many times I can prestige! xD

  • Did Sony abandon the PS2 Classics?

  • No mention of the PS Plus titles for November? Are you embarassed by them or did you forget that they’re supposed to show on the first Tuesday of every month?

Also, no mention of the DriveClub PS Plus Edition? I guess that was a lie since the very start

And no mention of the PS4 2.00 update problems with Rest Mode + Evolve Alpha?

All you guys gotta do is keep people in the loop. People understand that things don’t always work out like planned, but keeping people in the dark like you guys have been doing lately just makes people angry. People don’t like sitting around wondering about what’s going on with things that they’ve paid good money for

    • PS Plus details are coming soon – stay tuned.

No update to share yet on Driveclub PS Plus Edition timing, unfortunately. We’ll keep you up to date as soon as we have new info.

As for PS4 2.00, we’re looking into the issues that some folks are having and will share any new updates with you ASAP.

  • Wow, so many posts just got deleted. I guess mine will be soon too. Great way to treat your customers. That’s just awesome

  • I’m excited for The Binding of Issac. Looks great but really hard.
Frozen Synapse Prime looks fun too. Nice drop.

  • What’s the deal with PS+ this month?

  • Just one game for me this week. Been waiting for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth!!

  • Are we going to get any confirmation about the PS+ games? The video was made private and there was no blog post, so I assume something happened. Any information would be great, at least something oficial about the delay.

Also great from this week, cant wait for The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, looks amazing and i have never trid ir before :)

    Have a nice week

  • Nothing for me this week. I might check out Wolf Among Us eventually, but I’m good for now.

  • Yeah I got burnt on drive club! Whats the PSplus free games already?

  • @BahumatlsBlack

I think they are already paying the price for their errors. They are losing $2.1 billion this fiscal year,” according to CNN Money

  • Good Drop. I’m really glad there is a demo for How To Survive.
I don’t get why everyone is so upset and giving this post a bad rating. Yeah, the rest mode issues suck; It’s how I always turned off my PS4, but I can live with fully turning it off for a while. And as for the Driveclub PS+ edition, people can just follow Driveclub on Twitter and Facebook, although they never say anything other than “We’re just as frustrated as you and we’re working around the clock”. The whole situation surrounding that game is terrible and unacceptable, but really, why should the PS+ edition be released when it’ll be just as messed up as the full game?

Also, regarding Rest Mode: I read about a workaround that may work for some people: When the PS4 is off, hold the power button for 7 seconds ’til it boots in safe mode, then choose the third option and have it download and install the latest update again. I did it, but I haven’t been using Rest Mode, so I can’t say if it’s worked for me, but it’s definitely worth trying. It doesn’t take long and you’ve got nothing to lose.

  • perhaps if you just answered the question people would stop asking the SAME questions. Or at least say you will get yelled at if you respond :)

  • This post is for one thing only, to inform us of incoming games this week. It isn’t for addressing other issues.

  • You hit the nail, I don’t like FPS games.

  • @djstantastic, they already made the blog post telling us which games to expect for november.

  • Wow thanks Sid.

    FINALLY some sort of answer.

    • I get your frustration, but let’s try not to resort to comment spamming :) We are monitoring those issues and will update when there’s concrete info to share.

  • When can we start to see more game’s become available for Preorder on all system’s especially for the PS4. I want to see Project Car’s up for Preorder as well as The Division. I know The Division is a long way off but Project Car’s now has a release date of March 17th 2015.

Also when did “The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season
PS Vita” become available as Digital? Searched the Blog and couldn’t find the answer myself.

  • Just grateful the issues have been finally addresses Sid. Thank you for the info!
It would be nice to get this info a lot sooner though. Including info about PSN randomly going down etc.
it is frustrating as a paying customer who doesn’t have all that much time to game!

  • Thanks Sid. all we want is communication.

  • Need clarification on Disney Infinity. It says 2.0 and pic to match yet description is for the original. I’m hoping its the original since Wii U got free download for anyone who has 2.0. I would love opportunity to download original for PS4.

  • The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season, mega nice, as a zombie game hater, I fully recommend The Walking Dead to anyone.

  • Thank you very much Sid!
You have a good weekend as well, good sir!

  • still waiting on planetside 2……

  • COD release is tonight at midnight right?

  • Deleting pposts is such a lame thing to do. Ryan responding with smiles and beyond! to only the positive posts is also lame. At least Sid gave some kind of attention to the questions and problems everyone is having.
Sony’s official communication sucks so freaking bad.

  • I just want to say thanks for responding Sid, it really helps to get some information.

  • @yozagabowza That’s usually how it is around here. They don’t seem to like negative (but necessary) criticism.

  • This isn’t the first time that this blog was used to try to control the message, and to prevent other gamers from seeing how customers are actually responding to certain updates. I agree; this is the height of bad form, bordering on straight up deception.

I saw the leaked titles for PS+ for November of 2014, and I am certain that’s why they have not updated the site with any news yet. Not a single AAA title on the list, and ALL of them are indies. All of them.

Sony will try to still find a way to hype it up, though, because there are so many cross-buy games included. Who cares? They’re all indies. Only people obsessed with indie games will be pleased this month.

I predict the absolutely worst backlash in the IGC history, after the garbage that will be slopped onto our plates is revealed. Maybe after this month, Sony will release that we’re getting sick of it.

  • *yowzagabowza

Ugh, not to mention they keep ignoring my requests for an edit feature.

  • I think the PS Blog need’s a new comment system. It should be like the EU Blog. People over there seem more civilized because you can reply to someone’s individual post and that reply brach down below that post.

Go read some comments in some of the Post’s and tell me you agree as well.

    Just go to blog(dot)eu(dot)playstation(dot)com

    (dot) = .

  • First nov plus update?

Second Driveclub update? I read Shihei note on Facebook. Looks like that games doomed and us plus members are getting the short stick.

Third 2.0 update didn’t really add anything special. Still can’t organize my game list how I want to (library doesn’t count it’s all the way to the left and includes anything I’ve download before which as a plus member is a ton of stuff. and the video section has WWE which isn’t even installed above Crunchyroll which is installed. It doesn’t even make sense of its alphabetical. Also I can’t change the background picture to anything I want. Themes and selected colors aren’t anything special, and why can’t I have the colors rotate like on the PS3. At least that’s more exciting. The playstation TV has more customization options and it seems like it was a half baked idea at release with one video app for a TV box.

  • And they link the EU blog at the top of the page for easy access!

  • Please GIVE US SOME INFO ON HELLDIVERS! Arrowhead games has already finished the game we know it’s now up to Sony to release it!

  • Picking up Walking Dead S2 and Wolf Among Us for my Vita this week.

  • I love the drop this week, I’m really looking forward to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. I want to ask you guys, do you know when Witness will be coming out, thanks for all you guys do.

  • How much will rocksmith be?

  • How much will monopoly family pack be?

  • Any word yet on when we can finally sign-in to our youtube accounts?

  • For some reason, they don’t/won’t post pricing on the drop blog posts. Google maybe?!

  • @Richard_Evil

Other users reported going into YouTube on a pc, something under account settings. I know it’s a pain but in a few blog comment sections there’s been users talking about how they got it to work. Might have to do a bit of leg(finger?!) work yourself!

Although I initially had numerous problems attempting to log into the YouTube app on PS4, I was successful after trying the procedure described in the following post from NeoGAF:
    http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=136515430&postcount=4433
“Go into your google account settings, Account Permissions and revoke access to PSN.
Go back to PS4, link to other services, and re-sign in and you should see a access grant list, approve it.”
Thanks to NeoGAF user JordanBlack68 for this solution.
