Hi all,

We’re excited that PS Experience is just around the corner, and in leading up to the show… we have an interesting poll for PlayStation Network users and fans of SNK / NEOGEO to participate in here on the official PS.Blog.

Metal Slug 3

Together with SCEA 3rd Party Productions, and in commemoration of next year’s 25th Anniversary of the AES & MVS, SNK PLAYMORE is very happy to bring back some of our best NEOGEO content to current-gen hardware / PSN – starting with METAL SLUG 3 on PS4 and PS Vita (compatible with PlayStation TV) platforms, as well as PS3.

Being that we’re curious as to what the fanbase is looking for, please vote for which title(s) you would love to see on PSN in the near future! Make sure to spread the word that we’re asking for feedback from the fans via this poll, and listening to what you guys have to say.

    But where is KoF 96,98 and 99?…I still own all these on disc but I want them on PSN as well.
    BTW please could you make an effort and bring Capcom vs SNK PRO…thats one of the best fighting games ever and its super underrated.

    SAMURAI SHOWDOWN PLEASE… Been a huge fan for LIFE. Still own Samurai Showdown III and IV on Sega Saturn (arcade perfect ports might I add). Would love to see all the SamSho games on PSN (NOT ports from older systems but proper ones, hopefully arcade perfect.)

    I would especially love SamSho II and SamSho III

    There are three I would like to see, despite two of the them are in Samurai Shodown anthology:

    Samurai Shodown II, Samurai Shodown IV, SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom

    The last one was released for PlayStation 2 in Japan, but should not be an import, and was popular in the arcades since 2003.

    First and foremost. Language options in every game. It’s about time we all left “Engrish” behind:

    Next – I hope you consider these:

    1a- Samurai Spirits: Zankuroh Musouken (US read: Samurai Shodown III) or…
    1b- Samurai Spirits: Rokuban Shoubu (US read: Samurai Shodown Anthology)
    2- The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match – Tougeki version (no translation necessary)
    3- Garoudensetsu 3: Harukanaru Tatakai (US read: Fatal Fury 3: Road to The Final Victory)

    I’ve been begging to have these games on my PS3 for a really long time… So, you charge, I’ll pay (don’t go Capcom on us though, please?) .
    And (better late than never, but…) , THANK YOU SNKP for keeping the Neo Geo legacy alive… and, Thank You Sony!

    – REAL BOUT FATAL FURY 2, the best SNK fighting game imo. Would be perfect for online fast paced matches.
    – GAROU MOTW, the best Capcom game made by SNK if you know what I mean. Probably the best seller of the list.

    WINDJAMMERS needs to be on that list.

    I’d still like to see a release schedule such as a new NEO-GEO game every other Tuesday. It would give us something to look forward to.

    A price point of $5 per game would guarantee many more sales. I think the price of $9 per game for Neo-Geo Station games kept a lot of people from buying them. Even if the $5 has to be only for Plus members I think it will help.

    Is this going to b developed by M2? I’m really hopeful it is similar to the NeoGeo Station set up since that was very good. It looked amazing, sounded great, was easy to navigste. The extras were also awesome and made it worth purchasing, even for people who own the original game cartridges, such as myself. Extras such as online co-op, music jukebox, and so on will even attract people who have all of the games emulated on other devices.

    I’d like to see classics such as;
    NAM-1975, BASEBALL STARS PROFESSIONAL, MAGICIAN LORD, PULSTAR, WINDJAMMERS, TOP PLAYER’S S GOLF, THE SUPER SPY, and CYBER-LIP, among others.

    Holy Crap I would love to be able to play GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES on psn especially if it ends up being playable on ps4 and psvita love you guys neo geo just please if you do put GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES on psn don’t waste time putting it on playstation now no one with common sense really likes that unreasonable service plus having that game available would give me more incentive to finally get rid of my old xbox 360 only still have it because of some of my favorite xbox live tittles on the hardrive… I digress what I would love even more if at all possible is a sequel to GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES or at the very least having more GAROU characters in any future king of the fighters tittle roaster to come besides Rock Howard…. once again thanks neogeo love you guys..hey are you ok? BUSSSTER WOOOLF!!!!!

    I didn’t see King of Monsters on that list. Does that mean it’s a given or maybe we’re getting a new War of Monsters? Maybe that’s why David Jaffe is there and not for God of War. No, wait, a new Downhill Domination!!

    Ok so are these a part of the NEO GEO Station series? I hope so as those were amazing ports. If so will all previous games become cross buy for PS4 and Vita because that too would be amazing.

    I’ve never played the Last Blade series. I would love to see Last Blade 2 on the Network and King. Also, I’m in agreement with whoever said SNK and Capcom should duke it out once again. We are long over due for a crossover title.

    I hope SNKP is considering porting the top five(5) most voted titles with, online, cross play, cross save and of course MAKE IT VITA COMPATIBLE!!!

    After many years, SNK is finally wanting to put more games on the PSN. Wow, what took so freaking long? I bought EVERY game ROM that you put on the PSN on the days that you released them, and I thought you would post the entire library on the PS3, hoping to get every game you release, just mainly for the cool music player that I do not have on the AES console. I actually own ALL the Neo-Geo game on the AES, but the jukebox from Razoola is no where as neat as the music player on the PlayStation version NeoGeo player (emulator).

    So, please by all means release as many games on the PSN as possible and I will buy all of them, but, if you want to get everyone into buying your games you need to release the ones that SELL best FIRST, and that will get people into knowing the NeoGeo, and this will make people want more from you. Getting them to buy games from the early 1990s first is a bad idea IMO. Personally I LOVE the early games, but they do not showcase the best that the Neo has to offer, and kids do not appreciate the games of old, unless those games look similar to these days games that are in 2D which basically means your BEST games that the Neo has, are what they will get.

    So release the last KOF games, Fatal Fury games, Metal Slug games, Samurai Shodown games, Rage of the Dragons, Matrimelee, Sengoku series, Nightmare in the Dark, etc etc.. and for those of us that are hardcore fans, you should release games that are unreleased before like Crossed Swords 2, Ironclad Brikin’Ger, Zintrick, and see if you can get the NGDevTeam to release games for the PS-Station like Last Hope, Pink Bullets, Neo XYX, Fast Striker, Gunlord, RAZION, etc etc.. and you will get a LOT more sales, and do not forget to RELEASE at least 10 games for every 2 months and get ALL of the games from the Neo-Geo on the PS3/PS4…and get it done! The games will sell, IF you release them properly, and fast enough. Do NOT wait YEARS at a time! Your REAL fans are waiting, and your future fans are there, you just need to get them introduced to the best console ever made, and selling these games like Super Sidekicks 1 at $10 is not going to do it. Half the price, and get the best games rolling out, and they will sell.
