  • I hate to WRITE IN ‘Never Alone’ for Best PS4? For shame. I can only hope others follow suit!

  • Best game PS Vita —-> MotoGP 14

  • The Binding of Isaac Rebirth all the way. Such a good game!

  • I can’t wait for Mad Max. That should definitely be on the most anticipated list. Hopefully the game will be as good as the movies.

  • Such PSN, much digital, so games!

  • Best PS4 game?
    Driveclub PS+ edition.
    By far!

  • Danganropa 1 and 2 on the same list? That’s a bit odd.

Also, voted for Freedom Wars for the greater good of the panopticon.

  • I ended up playing my Vita and 3DS more than my PS3 this year, for some reason, so I didn’t have a PS3 game of the year. However, everything I’ve seen about Stick of Truth looks fantastic, so that’s where I cast my vote. I’d totally play that game if it comes to PS4.

  • Oh man picking most anticipated was hard, so many good titles :D But I just had to go with Bloodbourne… I’m sorry MGSV I hope you forgive me :,(

  • hey Sid Shuman
Is there any chance in 2015 they can implement a way to spend our Sony Reward points in the PSN Store?

  • Is any one else annoyed that all the games on the list aren’t actual exclusives to those systems and in most cases aren’t even exclusive to the Playstation Echo system? I’d like to see a list created for true exclusives as much as that’s possible in this day and age. At least console exclusivity. Funny thing is the vita probably had the largest list of exclusive games on it most of the others can be bought even in the WiiU.

  • I wrote in Kojima Productions for Studio of the Year for Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes. I know the game got a lot of hate for only being a prologue, but I played those levels over and over to get all the trophies, and I got obsessed with the game. I also played quite a lot of it by remote play on vita, which also worked very well.

The game mechanics and the graphics are so good in Ground Zeroes – I can’t wait for The Phantom Pain (obviously voted it as my most anticipated for 2015). Kojima has really updated the gameplay for MGS, so it feels much more intuitive. I hope people check out this game, they might be surprised!

  • PS4: Dragon Age Inquisition
    PS3: Dark Souls II
PS Vita: Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc
    Digital game: Outlast
    Studio: Naughty Dog
    PS+: Outlast
    Most anticipated: Uncharted 4 – A thief’s End

  • Polls aren’t showing up. Are they supposed to be linked on this post? I just see categories and no clickable links.

  • Argh such difficult choices, especially that vita category! Toukiden, Danganronpa 1 and 2 (haven’t played 2 yet, but I know it’ll be good) Hatsune Miku project diva f 1 and 2, Destiny of Spirits, Freedom Wars….too much to choose from!

Best PSN game was also tough, but in the end I had to give some love to Nidhogg. SOOOO much fun, it’s ridiculous!

  • My choices:

Best PS4 Game: Infamous Second Son

Best PS3 Game: Persona 4 Arena Ultimax

Best PS Vita Game: Tales of Hearts R

    Best Digital Release: Transistor

Studio of the Year: Naughty Dog

Best PS Plus: Injustice Ultimate Edition

Most Anticipated Game of 2015: Persona 5

For my most anticipated it was a tough choice between P5 and Uncharted 4 but Persona is LONG overdue for a new mainline game.

  • Surprised Resogun isn’t on here. That was my favorite digital game this year. Also my first platinum!

  • I’m voting for good games that deserve discounts either for selfish purposes or because I want more people to try it out and support the developers. For example we all know Destiny so I think another game deserves it. Btw it goes without saying that I believe the winners will go on sale.

  • Best PS4 – Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor
Best PS3 – South Park: The Stick of Truth
Best Vita – Child of Light
Best Digital Release – Child of Light
    Best Studio – Monolith Productions
Best PS Plus Title – Don’t Starve: Console Edition
    Most Anticipated – Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

  • Best Digital Realease is absolutely loaded. There are 7-8 games that could legitimately win it. So hard to just pick one, but I’ll have to go with Transistor; I loved the style and the music was superb.

    • It’s crazypants. We went with 30 starter picks instead of the usual 20 in the other categories, and it was still rough

  • I hope the winners (games) go on sale. Maybe an exclusive pre-order price for upcoming titles, discounts for a few games from the winning Studio, etc.

  • Bayonetta 2 is the only correct GOTY

This is just a consolation prize poll

  • Is it wrong to think the best game was the P.T Demo…Its not even a game(yet) lol

  • Why no Tales of Hearts R for the Vita list? The story is good, the characters are funny, the combat is great, and the cutscenes are an added bonus. Too bad nobody wants to talk about it on the Blogcast because you guys could get it the extra attention it deserves. My pick for best PS+ game is another one NOT on your list. Soul Sacrifice I believe was in February. One of the Vita’s top games in my opinion. Guess that’s why I platted it.

  • PS4: Alien: Isolation
PS3: South Park: The Stick of Truth
    Vita: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
    Digital: Outlast
Studio of the Year: Creative Assembly
    Most Anticipated: No Man’s Sky

    – By far the work Creative Assembly has done on Alien: Isolation stands pretty high above the rest in my opinion as they’ve breathed new life into the Alien franchise and proved it can indeed be made into a high quality video game. Alien: Isolation has probably held my favorite brand new moments this year.
    – On Vita, Danganronpa by far kept me thoroughly entertained and hooked throughout the whole game – something that is rarely said with a lot of current games these days, at least for me.
    – South Park was a dream come true. It was a blast, had tons of replay value, kept me hooked, and provided a grand, classic RPG gaming experience all around.
    – Outlast was a solid PS+ release, hands down. The game was long and terrifyingly entertaining.
    – Finally, it was a hard toss up between Persona 5, Uncharted: Thieves End, and No Man’s Sky. I had to go with my gut – as it has peaked my inner Sci-Fi, space loving, nerdy side and has left me captivated and anxiously anticipating its release.

  • Very disappointed in you guys for not nominating soul sacrifice delta as best vita game when it clearly is the best vita game of 2014

  • *Uncharted: A Thief’s End

Thought that didn’t look right when I posted it… :)

  • Kool…

But the results of this poll usually end up being invalid, since most people vote for the game they want to go on SALE instead of the game they own & enjoyed.

  • 1st of all get ready for the stupid winners.

So ah wanna thank you all at the PSBlog team for not including remasters.Would’ve been utter bulls***:

2nd:Including ND and rockstar on studio of the year is quite the nonsense since they’ve done nothing this year.

3rd:There is no other winner for studio of the year if not Sucker Punch.Sorry but other devs got nothing on SP this year.
And there is no other winner for best digital release if not First Light…guess this is pretty obvious.

Also best Plus game is a tough choice between Bioshock Infinite,Puppeteer,Sly and Arkham City.I already had all of them but those were too great to be given for free.

And wait…ain’t UC4 due to release in december 2015?…thats basically 2016 lol.

    • 1. Glad you liked it, tough choice 2. ND did Left Behind and TLOUR while R* made a killer PS4 version of GTAV 3. SP killed it

  • valiant hearts

    south park

    child of light

    never alone

    shadow of mordor

  • Can’t wait for uncharted 4

  • Ps4 Destiny
    Ps3 Destiny
    Ps Vita OlliOlli
    Digital OlliOlli
    Developer Bungie
    Ps Plus Dragon’s Crown
    2015 Anticipated Let It Die(Suda 51’s f2p)

  • Destiny

  • Cant wait for Uncharted 4 hopefully it will be a great game like the others. Bloodborne also looks nice but I am still confused knowing what kind of game it is. Is this a hack and slash game like Dantes Inferno or is it more like Demons souls???

The order is also looking like a nice game but most likely it will be just a rent for me since no multiplayer is being planned.

  • Wow hardest choice is most anticipated game 2015 yes I know for many it is Uncharted but The Order,The Division,The Witcher 3,MGS5 and Arkham knight are also interesting games my personal GotY is Far Cry 4 followed by Dragon Age and Unity.Best digital release is Outlast imo but when you look at this list the last year was better in terms off games for Vita and PS4 then the majority wanna see it also the PS+ content

  • Studio of the Year 2014: Nintendo Sorry
    Goty: Bayonetta 2
    Goty PS4: Dragon Age: Inquisition
Best PS Plus Title: Tomb Raider
Most Anticipated 2015: Sony: Bloodborne / Multi: Zelda

  • Oh also forgot to mention how funny that is to not see Driveclub on the best PS4 game list…I know there is an option to write our choice and Driveclub ain’t mine but a Sony game not included in the list is just laughable.

  • So many good choices!!!

Rogue Legacy really nailed the digital release of the year!

How come naughty dog is on the list for studio of the year when they just re-released something from 2013?

  • @Welmosca …….have you been following Driveclub since it’s been released? It’s hard to give a GotY nomination for a game that doesn’t even work upon release.

  • Shadow of Mordor and Transistor some of the finest games this year! Also tough choice between Uncharted 4 and Witcher 3 :)

  • Very disappointed that WARFRAME is not mentioned once or Digital Extremes

  • We want more New games, ex. Grid, carmagedon, please!!!

  • Best PS4 – Wolfenstein: New Order
Best PS3 – South Park: The Stick of Truth
    Best Vita – Velocity 2x
Best Digital Release – Steamworld Dig
    Best Studio – Rockstar North
Best PS Plus Title – Velocity 2x
    Most Anticipated – Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End

  • Infamous SS
    Alien Isolation
    Velocity 2X
    Transistor
    Sucker Punch
    Velocity 2X
    The Order 1886

  • I vote for DriveClub PS+ edition for playstation plus game of the year!!! Great job guys!!!

  • Vote Fez!

  • MGS V Ground Zeroes (since GTA V isn’t eligible even though it should be since they added + KEEP adding SO much..they just had another update today!)

    Rockstar for best studio.

MGS V THE PHANTOM PAIN for best game EVER. ;)

  • Dragon Age and BioWare more than deserve GOTY this year. Mordor would be my 2nd

  • and wow, that PS+ poll reminds me of all the *good* content we used to get. Rather than endless, generic 2D Indie shovelware
