Happy New Year! Here’s hoping that you all had a restful holiday with family, friends, and maybe even a few video games when no one (Or everyone?) was looking. But now it’s 2015 and we have to get the Drop rolling again, because there are more video games to play! So let’s start with the return of a well-loved series: Joe Danger 2.

And as a special burlap cherry on top, Sackboy joins the roster as a guest, alongside Tearaway’s heroes Atoi and Iota.
So head below for the full list of new games, and enjoy the Drop! We can’t wait to spend 2015 with you.

Oh, gee, i wonder how much these games cost? Better search all over the internet to find them! Why would an article advertising upcoming games have prices anyway? Thats just crazy!
“Atelier Ayesha Plus, due out via download on January 13 in North America and January 14 in Europe for $39.99 / €39.99, brings new feature to the RPG, including new costumes, bosses, and dual audio.”
This was back in November. Was it delayed without us knowing?
@Clements
I know that. This is the only industry in the whole freakin world that thinks revealing the prices on the day they go on sale is a good idea. Eveything else in the whole world has a price attached well before release. It is infuriating. There is absolutely no reason why you dont post them ahead of time. Even two days early (today) would be fine, even though its still late.
You have a good point. I can open the Sunday Target advertisement and see many of the prices of the Tuesdays releases. I also don’t see why the secrecy. It’s not like there is competition for the MSRP that the games sell at. Do the publishers not give you the MSRP for the title when they give you the release date?
“Atelier Ayesha Plus ~The Alchemist of Dusk~ for the PlayStation Vita will be available for digital download on 14 January 2015 across Europe (13 January 2015 for North America).”
Hey Ryan why when im on a party chat.. noice cancelling from my headset dont work? can you guys update it? when ever someone opens the door or say something from far away everyone in the chat can hear them.. can yall fix this?

I see the Facebook page also confirms Playstation TV support. I’m never sure which of those games will work because sometimes obvious ones like Neptunia Rebirth don’t, so always good to hear.
@prices discussion: I don’t care one way or another, mostly because I generally don’t buy anything immediately upon release.
But for what it’s worth, they probably do withhold the info on purpose. Perhaps not all of it is known, but some of it surely is. For example, new retail games tend to be $60. Day 1 digital will be the same price, but not even those appear here.
Since this whole website is essentially a big advertisement for the PSN digital storefront, they want you to impulse buy what they’re offering. Most people don’t even read this blog, and with no price info they’ll check the actual store. While there, they are just a few clicks away from buying something they may not have fired up the store to get if they had pricing info beforehand.
People who do read this blog will come back and check the store update post because…well, they have no choice. The info isn’t here.
Which brings me to my main point: IMHO they don’t have prices here because it’s just a “what’s new” post and most people don’t care. They can wait the 2 days.
Hello thanks for the wonderful drop would love to ask whatever happened to run sackboy run on ps vita been waiting from october ='[ would love to play that please. Thank you all for your hard work in playstation blog ^.^
howdy ryan,any word when are we going to get the promised 10 percent discount for the December outage?i could used that to buy brandish because i’m currently low on funds :3
Really, Sony? REALLY?! NO APOTHEON?!!!! REALLY?!!!!! Great, now if it does release the week after next, it’ll be the start of the new semester and have no time to play it, so thanks for that……
So in pictures I see advertising Playstation now I see the last of us. Does that mean will be getting that game and some others seen in the advertising for playstation now subscription?
MediEvil 2 as a PSOne Classic would be greatly appreciated. I loved playing the first after finding out about Dan via PlayStation All-Stars, and would love to show some more support for the franchise and play the sequel finally.
Hey Ryan, Please let the PlayStation Store team they need to work on better filtering in the PlayStation Store. Can’t always filter but Full game versus DLC or PSN’s not being apart of Full game’s because after all there no different then full game’s.
Also to add please add more Preorder and upcoming game’s to the PlayStation Store. Especially for PlayStation 4. I want to Preorder Project Car’s digitally. I shouldn’t be treated any differently then disc buy’s going to a retail store preordering a game.
Where is the 10 percent discount? Why is it that I live in New Jersey but I am put on hold for 30 minutes to speak to someone in El Salvador to find out that there has been no official announcement on the date or the duration of the 10 percent discount?
Guys, bring back the PSP flag for Suikoden II. Personally, I don’t care for is as I play PS1 Classics on PS3 and PSV, but there’s a lot of people that want to play Suikoden II on PSP. It was available for PSP at first so we all know that somebody just blocked this via the PS store interface.
@43 MrPonuraski
The PSP is a dead system and reached its end of life last year. They only dedicated 10 years to the device which is far more than their competitors gave the DS. In all honesty Vita’s are cheap enough now and have a strong selection of games, those PSP users who really like their PSP’s may want to think about carrying their existing libraries over to the Vita. They couldn’t go wrong, it has 7 years of support left on it and they would have a full control layout unlike the PSP.
If you want to complain about the PSOne classics not being available on a system, I would point to the PS4 which has some how signaled square that it was ‘OK’ to port the PC version of FF7 and then charge 15+ for it. I’d love to abandon the PSP and PS3 echo system.
Have a great week!
where’s Atelier Ayesha Plus: The Alchemist of Dusk, Ryan?
No love for JRPG? XD
Hi! That wasn’t on my list, actually! Can you point me to where you got that info?
Hey SaberX85,
I was able to confirm that Atelier Ayesha is, as you noted, coming tomorrow! Thanks for the early warning, I’ve added it into the post above.
Cheers,
Clements
