  • There’s a lot of classics from PS1 and PS2 that should be in the store, but companies just neglect that stuff. It’s really annoying because it shows their attitude towards the fans. PS classics won’t sell in millions, but they can easily pay for themselves, so to speak. What’s more, many of them can easily bring a decent profit. Companies like Square Enix and Konami should do more to please the oldschool fans. For example, the PS2 remake of Romancing SaGa is a very cool and unique game that was released in North America, but nobody uploaded it to the NA PS store as a PS2 Classic despite the fact that the Japanese store just got that game as a PS2 Classic.

Please, make a hard-working team for securing PS Classics (or motivate the current one to even harder work)

  • Ooooh who would have thought of that! Suikoden 2 sells………………

    /s

And ooooooh People buy PSone games, a lot! What a surprise! Imagine if they were available on the PS4….imagine that….money, happy gamers, more money, more happy gamers…… I guess Sony doesn’t want either.

  • I’m waiting on Dragon Quest 7 & 8 to hit the PSN Store as Classics. It’s a shame Sony and other companies aren’t stacking the lsit of Classics through the roof, it would make my Vita TV into a massive portable PS1 emulation machine. All my friends would definitely get it if it the library of PS1 games exploded through the roof.

Well can’t be too greedy, can’t win ’em all. But since Sony is the publisher of Dark Cloud 1 and 2, why are those PS2 Classics available for Japan’s PSN Store and not in North America? :/

  • I made sure to buy Suikoden II the week it came out and told my buddies about its release too. So I’m happy to see it as the graphic for this month. One of my most looked forward to things is PSOne and PS2 classics releases.

  • Still holding out for Legend of Legaia as a PSOne classic and for Breath of Fire 3 for the PSP to make it to the US Store with Vita compatibility. Sony, Square Enix, Konami and Capcom (amongst many others) still have some gems that deserve to be put on the PS Store either for certain regions or in the first place. Glad to see some of you mention them.

  • Suikoden 2 DOESN’T WORK ON PSP! Even though it actually does, they removed the functionality. It was the only reason I bought the game in this format (it’s a great game btw) and it has been gimped. Thanks Sony!
