Hi everyone! March is here, and that means it’s time for our annual Spring Fever promotion with discounts for PlayStation Plus members on hot new digital-only games each week. This year, Spring Fever is going to last eight weeks – that’s twice as long as last year – with new PS4 games launching each week.
Over the next two months, we’re shining a light on some of the most unique titles coming to PS4 from incredibly talented developers and discounting their games for PS Plus members during each game’s launch week. This year’s lineup features PlayStation console-exclusive titles, as well as classic franchises making their debut on PS4. And if you haven’t made the jump to PS4 yet, don’t fret – a number of these games are also launching on PS3 and/or PS Vita as well.
Spring Fever kicks off next Tuesday, March 3rd with the launch of Helldivers from Arrowhead Game Studios. It’s a hardcore twin stick shooter perfect for four-player co-op madness. PS Plus members can pick up Helldivers next week at a sweet 10 percent discount. Here’s the full Spring Fever lineup:

METAL SLUG 3 is an amazing game. I can’t stress this enough.
At $15 is a great price too….as long as it’s coming with Metal Slug 1 – 6!
Seriously though, where does Playmore get these prices from?! $15 for a 15 year old console game is way too much and this is coming from someone who bought it for the Neo-Geo in 2000 for $450 and I still own the original cart.
You can buy the original 7, yes SEVEN, Metal Slug games in the Anthology for only $5 more.
Not to mention Playmore is currently selling Metal Slug 3 on iOS and Android for $3.. so why is there a huge markup for PSN?
I’m sick of companies “abusing” the Cross-Buy deal by using it as leverage to inflate prices. “Sure it’s pricy, but you are getting 3 copies of the game!!” Nonsense… I only want to play it on one system. If I want to play it on the Vita/PSTV I would most definitely pay an extra $5 and get 6 more Metal Slug game before buying just one for $15.
I thought Playmore learned something from the over priced Neo-Geo Station failure, but they’ve managed to make it even worse.
Really got to say, that I LOVE the 2 months sneak peek at what possibly to save for.
Games that we would wait for a sale anyway, but it is nice to put it towards the games we really want, and, debate where it is better spent.
Legos for the kids , and a GOW sale I missed last year.
hopefully the batman sale includes arkham origins.

SpooNManX: These prices are the same if the games would be on MS’s system so either MS and Sony both decide to jack up the prices compared to steam and ios/android or the publisher is doing the jacking

It shows ** which means it will arrive later, but buy at your own risk ( sometimes they get delayed).
Can’t wait for Hotline Miami 2 and Shovel Knight. Was interested in Metal Slug 3 at first since it the best one of the franchise, but the wait was too long and I recently got the Metal Slug Anthology from the SNK sale two weeks ago. No longer interested in it, but will get the others I mentioned later in the future.
Also, I love how some of these trolls are so dumb thinking that these are “sales.” They’re not sales, they are small discounts for those planning to buy them on release date. Think before spewing nonsense.

How much will the game franchises be discounted? I have an itchy trigger finger in terms of spending right now, and I don’t know if I can wait a month to purchase titles like “Assassin’s Creed Unity”, “Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham”, and “Dragon Age: Inquisition”.
Titan Souls just look amazing :D Finally a Zelda/Dark Souls/Shadow of Colossus type of pixel game for PS4!

My wallet will need to be rescued from the depths during the next 2 months. I gradually noticed the prices of the indie games have gone up from $10-$15 or sometimes $20. This would be the time to have the buy $100 and get $15 in credit next month. I’m sure a few gamers myself included would spend close $200-$300 during the spring fever event. It would be better if during launch week the games are 20% off but if bought during Spring Fever the games are 10% or 15%. That would bring gamers back to buy multiple games. This would be the time to step up your game Sony, especially before the big E3 announcements in June.

I kinda hope they have a few other good games on sale each week while waiting for a few of the new releases because I have a decent chunk of a few of the “soon to be on sale” franchises (like Assassin’s Creed, GOW & GTA) and I’m not at all interested in COD. Well here’s to hoping.
The Lego game sales have some pretty good discounts, but not a game series I am interested in.

Why is the Lego sale over with? The game page said the prices were good through 3/10 and it’s still 3/10 but the game I wanted is no longer on sale.
I love the discounted game franchises but the 10% of titles really bother me they should have some major releases for that like ac unity, Advanced warfare, or grand theft auto !
