Today I would like to introduce a brand new boss enemy from the game.
Just like in Demon’s Souls, Bloodborne will feature many boss enemies of all shapes and sizes, and there will be a variety of ways to defeat them. So I think you will find that the gameplay in Bloodborne is rich and diverse.
I am happy to introduce a new boss character called “Darkbeast.” This electric beast emerges from giant skeletal remains. With lightning coursing through its body, it bombards the player with its erratic and off-speed movements. You can check out this beast in action in the video just released as part of IGN First.

A malformed beast enveloped in blue lightning.
With a long body made of only bones, and a wrinkle-covered skull, people say this beast must be very old, very ancient.
Or perhaps, it is a descendent of the city of the plague of beasts.
This marks the last post covering content from IGN First’s month-long coverage of Bloodborne, but we have more in store for you before the game launches on March 24, so please stay tuned.
After seeing that Image on the blog’s maind page I had to come here I comment my opinion. Not everybody wants to see the boss, to me is a not welcome huge spoiler.
I would never open that because I am waiting the surprises that Bloodborne will bring!
I’m jazzed for Bloodborne, but I do wonder with the high interest in From Software right now, why aren’t their catalog titles available on the PSN? Where’s King’s Field, Shadow Tower, Echo Night? Kuon?
I agree with most people here, and I actually entered the post to say the same thing without even checking the comments,
Please don’t spoil the bosses; encountering them on Demon Souls for the first time and getting scared the hell out was part of what made it an unique, excellent and engrossing experience.
I know you have to sell the game and keep possible buyers hyped, but for people that are already decided to get it, this is taking away really bad from our experience in discovering the game.
But yeah, now it’s done, and I have to say it’s looking really good.
Not spoiling much for me, glad to check this out and increase the hype. So excited for Bloodborne, already pre-ordered my copy, can’t wait to get my hands on this game. This is my most anticipated title this year, love the souls series!!!
What if the delay for the March line-up is so we can get Destiny, Far Cry 4, or Assassin’s Creed Unity……. What if ??? or something to up Microsoft !!!!
I’m not able to see how a still image could spoil anything… but maybe that’s just me. Cool and spooky looking by the way, not my kind of game but it seems to be shaping great, bet of lucks!!!
my god some of you are such whiners! …. a COUPLE STATIC pictures of a boss isn’t going to spoil ****. IT doesn’t tell you how the boss moves or acts or what you have to use to kill it, all this does is show how gorgeous the game is.
The post title states “new boss.revealed” people need to learn to read and quit being spoiler babies when they click on it and see a spoiler. Spoiler sensitivity has gotten to the point of obnoxiousness online in the past few years. Lol.

You cant really avoid it, if the first thing you are greeted with is a picture with spoilers. How about a generic picture that just says Bloodborne; Spoilers. People can click if they want or avoid. Easy. Currently, everyone has it spoiled just for visiting your site.
Everyone complaining about spoilers get off the damn Internet. I dont go to forums and blogs about things i DON’T want to see. That logic makes you look like a damn fool.
On topic: Can’t wait for my CE copy of the game and guide to arrive. Go Sony and From Software!
Could Sony host these videos? Sites like IGN are part of what is wrong with gaming. Developers making titles to please critics rather than gamers. The Order has been one of the very few exceptions. I really do not want to give clicks to a site that has no concept of community service. And though you won’t or can’t say it out loud, Sony knows as well as anyone that sites like IGN only harm gaming and thus gamers themselves.
I know this is kind of a spoiler but, even though I’ve now seen what it looks like I don’t think that it will take away from the awesome experience of actually taking this boss on.. I cant wait! Already pre ordered my nightmare edition. I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for it.
