Prepare to drop into high-stakes combat and protect democracy at all costs — Helldivers is coming to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita this week in a flurry of friendly-fire chaos!
Helldivers enlists you in an elite squad of soldiers that travel the star system, obliterating any enemy of Super Earth that dares rear its insectoid head. With full four-player cooperative, and the looming presence of friendly fire at every turn, Helldivers is packed with challenge and three different alien races itching to destroy you. Procedurally-generated levels keep even the most versatile soldiers coming back for more, and a non-linear mission structure opens up even more carnage-laden options. Bonus: Helldivers supports cross play and cross chat across all three platforms.
If squashing space bugs and cyborgs isn’t your cup of tea, fear not: Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is also headed to PS Vita this week. In it, you’ll guide a clan across many generations in an effort to purge your family of an ancient curse. With watercolor visuals and spectacular battles, this RPG brings a new twist to Japanese mythology.

I’m looking forward to the March Plus Preview Preview. It will be an entire blog post devoted to thrilling us all with the anticipation of what the actual Preview post will be like. It will be filled with glorious images and videos of people being amazed.
The actual Preview post, I’m afraid, will be somewhat of a letdown by comparison. But I’m really psyched for the other one.
@LODI16b oh look i’m a gamer , but i don’t know how to play seriously ? games are becoming more easier and you still don’t know how to play ? DAT GAMER DAWG
I`ve been waiting for Helldivers for so long! Great job guys on bringing it for us!
Day one buy!!
It`s a great week for PSVIta owners! and there is more to come!
What is going on with the new PlayStation Network re-banding? Video Unlimited was supposed to be rebranded to PlayStation Video in February.
Is PlayStation Vue comming out this month?
Will PlayStation Music be here on March 29th? Or are we just not going to have a music service on PlayStation for a while? And on that not can we ever expect PlayStation Music on PlayStation Vita? That is the only platform I ever extensively used Music Unlimited on, as I really only stream over 3G while at work.
I am extremely exited for all of these sevices, especially PlayStation Vue, as I hav wanted to rid myself of Cable and Dish services for years. Hope everything is on track for Q1 like has been said on multiple occasions.
As for the drop. I am looking to pick up Helldivers and La-Mulana EX.
More budget indie titles for the PS4 again… yippee… Infamous Last List and Injustice Gods Among Us was a huge glimpse at some hope that PS4 owners were starting to see some real games for a change. What a step backwards this is. We should see titles like Knack and Killzone by now. Thief is a fairly new game and PS3 owners got that one akready so age of game can’t possibly be an excuse.
This is the last big Sony-published Vita game and it’s digital-only and almost 3GB. The few times you do release Vita games, you make sure that we can’t buy them.
I hope the march ps4 game is Wolfenstein. I know they won’t give away Far Cry 4 or Dying Light and that’s pretty much the only games I don’t have that I want lol
Enjoy the Drop!
Hey Ryan, do you know if they added an easy mode to La-Mulana Ex?
They talk a little about balance tweaks here! https://blog.playstation.com/2015/02/27/la-mulana-ex-out-next-week-the-ex-stands-for-extra/
