Listen to Songs from Hotline Miami 2, Out Today on PS4, PS3, Vita

When Hotline Miami released on PS3 and PS Vita in 2013 it delivered a tight run and gun shooter experience dripping with an unmistakable visual style and dark story that struck a chord with gamers worldwide.

Some would argue that while the game itself was a modern classic it was the pulsing soundtrack that might have been the most memorable part of Hotline Miami and a large part of the game’s legacy.

With the arrival of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number comes an incredible new soundtrack with 49 tracks from dozens of artists from around the world. While we don’t want to spoil the full track listing – it’s best experienced in the context of the game – the team thought it would be interesting to highlight their favorite tracks for the PlayStation community and give a little sample of the audio fun awaiting in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number.

Hotline Miami 2 is available now on PlayStation Store, and is a Cross-Buy title across PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.

Wait what? If I search for it on PSN I only find the PS3 and PS4 versions. No Vita version and no 10% discount from PS Plus.

Damn Sony why is it that we are only getting indie games, ports, and no exclusives. Come on Japanese people JK please DO NOT BAN ME……please. But not enough people are clamoring for the exclusive content we had expected so I will have to get them going. Oh and what happened to the psp library, more importantly why don’t we have the hardest hitting psp exclusives evening available for download you know the ones like Crisis Core i.e. final fantasy etc. We don’t care about the ones that weren’t special. I guess sometimes you just have to ask in order to receive. Final FANTASY Type-00000 to would be nice. It not all about sales.

Man, this music is like pure crack… Can’t wait to hear the new tracks by MOON. Hydrogen in the last one always got me so pumped. Will be picking this game up once the plus discount goes live.

@11 I thought the first one played way better on Vita than PS3. Has Devolver ever released any broken games on Vita? I don’t think so.

I’m picking up the game for sure but is the soundtrack ever going to be offered in it’s entirety on something like Bandcamp? Please provide a consumer friendly avenue to purchase it. Thanks.

Can’t even bring myself to listen to the music here! I have to appreciate it in all its glory, in-game! Then I’ll most definitely grab the soundtrack and listen to it on the go, just like I did 2 years ago with the first game! haha

I remember watching the announcement trailer for HM and being blown away by the music I was hearing. Im so glad cause it introduced me to an absolutely freaking awesome game. Cant wait to buy HM 2 later today! These tracks are off the chain!

Also, I’m trying to buy it through the Website store, but as of now the game is not showing up. Tried to connect through my Vita and it won’t connect to the store.

  Hey there! Store update didn’t quite finish by 2pm Pacific, but it looks like Hotline Miami 2 is showing PS Plus pricing for me now. If you’re not seeing it yet, give it a few minutes, or maybe try a different browser if you’re checking on the web.

Maybe the PS Store team is being affected by daylight savings? :p

Tried the first game when it was free on PS Plus (and after hearing the PS blogcast guys rave about it) and I loved it. I definitely plan on buying this one just to show the devs some love (and I’m assuming this game will be good too lol).

Started playing it yesterday..couldn’t stop…had to stop because the battery of the controller ran out and then I saw the time, it was 2 in the morning. Also, freaking amazing soundtrack.
