Why always ps3 titles better than ps4? why? why? Maybe we bought wrong console.
Now this is the one thing I dislike about having PS+. If I could I would purchase Uncharted Golden Abyss so that I could own it. But since I got it for free on Plus, I can’t buy it.
@101 dude, the PS3 has been out Since 2006. The PS4 since 2013. Do the math. Obviously the one that has nearly 9 years of seniority over the other would have better games.
I was disheartened to see Terraria was not on sale for the vita as well. :(

Good sale. I don’t feel any great sense of urgency to buy the few that interest me, and there are far too many previous Plus freebies and the like on this list. But that doesn’t make it a bad sale blah. Not everyone had Plus when this or that game was free blah blah.
I recommend Hitman Trilogy for $8 if and when the prices actually work. It’s meant to be old-school stealth action (and each game really shines when played that way), although you can technically kill EVERYBODY in the most brutal way possible and still complete objectives. Fun stuff.
I’m tempted by Retro City Rampage DX, but there’s no urgency as I have confidence it will be on sale many more times.
I’d like to see a meaningful (20% or more) one-time discount code that could be used on anything. I think sales would reach ludicrous proportions.

First off, thanks for not being hostile. No need for any of that here. And i agree, no need to attack the devs. They don’t decide the sales. I’m all for voicing your opinion on here, but it’s not their decisions. And yeah, phantasy star 2 would be awesome. I’ll take just about any hand held rpg from the psp as long as it’s halfway decent.
@105 – You should make a greater effort to understand what you’re replying to. What I said was very clearly generalized. I didn’t suggest that nobody cares about PS3. It’s just ridiculous for a cross-gen game to go on sale for only a last-gen platform. We are well over a year into the current generation of consoles and we should not still be seeing this issue. Prices should be matched for all multi-platform games. They aren’t somehow more valuable on one. Sales don’t have to happen at all, but if they are going to, they need to be done right. It’s almost like a ‘clearance’ approach. Sony is far more invested and dependent on PS4 now, and that’s understandable. PS3 is a fading platform and old games should be cheaper on it. Just not multi-platform games.
Just wondering what if anything, applies to Canadian customers? The last sale I bought Surgeon Simulator for the PS4 and while the store took my money and downloaded the game, it has remained locked ever since. This was the first sale that did not include Canadians … Is there no way to add the difference to cover the disparity between the monetary values? Certainly not good news for those of us North of the border …. Might want to clarify to buyers that Canadians will no longer share in the perks of psn sales. ?

Anyway…I still disagree. Like jabberwockgee said, old things will ALWAYS be cheaper than new things. PS4 games are ALWAYS going to be more expensive than their PS3 counterparts. That’s Economy 101.
At least until the PS3 is actually DEAD…in 1 or 2 years. If you thought otherwise…then you know nothing about how capitalism works.
So I don’t see anything wrong with Sony’s current “approach” to Sales. It was to be expected.
Might bite on the Sonic Adventures. Worth it? Six bucks for both doesn’t seem too bad. I never finished the first one on DC. Anyone know if R&C Into the Nexus is cross buy for vita like retail? And does anyone recommend any of the vita titles for these prices? Thanks Sony for giving me things to consider!
@Moofboy Are you thinking of Full Frontal Assault? I don’t even see Into the Nexus listed for the Vita. If you missed it with PS+, I’d recommend Steamworld Dig. Warriors Orochi 3 is fun but I’m not sure how well it runs on Viat since I have the PS4 version.
I think the SA games are decent for that price and for both the $5 DLC is worth it as well if you like the games.
If ur a souls fan or not I recommend Lords of the Fallen. Lotf is very pretty w/strategic combat & addictive loot, there r soo many interesting secrets in this game that u would never know about unless u research it. Also, if u missed spec ops TL and you like well crafted 3rd person shooters with dramatic choices & mmeaning then play this game. Mafia II is a very nice period piece game 1950’s/60’s ala GTA. Dante’s inferno IMO is more than a GoW clone, it is a well made action game with beautiful artwork & a very interesting take on a historical piece of literature, it’s very visceral and very adult.
@ 101 If u think ps4 is the wrong console ur sorely mistaken. To all the ppl acting like ps4 & ps3 owners are 2 separate entities in many cases ur wrong. I own all 3 (ps4, ps3, vita) and I care for and love each eequally, ALL 3 are great consoles/devices. Quite honestly the ps3 is still selling well and month to month doubling the 360 in sales, for all the criticism of ps3 I find it hilarious that in one less yr it has outsold the 360 in lifetime sales by millions. BTW, if u own a ps4 u would be stupid not to own a vita, if ur a trophy hunter u would be stupid not to own a vita, if ur a PS plus member ect u should consider Vita. I play all three systems like any good Sony gamer should.

Awesomenauts PS4 for 2.50 is tempting. Cmon with lords of shadow 2 and MG Rising if they were a lil cheaper I might bite. Seriously if uve never played Dante’s inferno it is on par with god of war.
Dante’s Inferno looks good but ill wait for the ultimate edition to go on sale. Please Sony put the Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Adventures DLC on sale. Also Lord of the Rings War in the North is one of the best offline and online Co-op games i’ve ever played. Thanks for the good sales!
For all those of you that want to know if Silent hill Origins is playable on Vita, after seeing a lot of forums that say it is not and after having talked with playstation chat support who also said its not compatible, I decided to take a plunge and spend 4 dollards to test it myself and IT WORKS! and it looks amazing too with the oled screen. This is for US accounts. I dont know about other regions. Hope this helps to any ppl that havent decided yet.

I can’t decide on whether to get Sonic Unleashed or Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.
I’m actually a big Sonic fan so it’s hard to pass up…but as a game, ninja gaiden seems like the better game overall…
I’m leaning towards ninja gaiden but it’s kinda hard to decide still.

Really absurd time to end the Flash Sale imo (9am PT??!!). You should make the flash sale last through Monday until like 12am EST. I really wanted to get touch my katamari for vita.
…and what’s worse it that you still have the Flash Sale posted in the store but without the discounts…
thanks for ending the sale 10 minutes before i finally managed to get the money for sonic unleashed that i’ve been pushing all my advert all morning to be able to afford, guys.
I bought 3 games from this sale alone, and countless other throughout the years…over $430 worth of psn games.
But sorry that a $12 discount is too much apparently.

This is good for discounts on the new ps3 games that is coming out.
Actually i had firday AND the whole weekend, problem’s that i still only managed to procure those extra $5 i needed to buy sonic at the last 10 minutes of the sale, since people were unfortunately not buying from me much.
And i also wanna note i realized of this flash sale on the 18th, not 17th, because i cannot check the blog 24/7.
I hope that you could understand my frustration at the situation…if you can make it the ‘whole weekend’ surely you can leave it on for 10-15 minutes,
I am not asking for a whole 2 more weekdays.
But anyway disregard my last post, it’s just a pity that i’d miss out on such a game on a difference of 10 measly minutes.
It was one of the best sales i’ve seen here, all things said and done, and 3 games out of the 5 i wanted ain’t that bad…i should be glad that i am mad that i couldn’t get some of them in retrospect because that means the sheer number of quality games available was so good that i couldn’t possibly get them all…i wouldn’t mind any more sales like that, you’d be seeing so much more bussiness from me x’D

Weekend is when I play PS4 now…I saw the flash sale on the PS4 Store but damn I forgot to take a look on the games on sale in the PS3 and I missed a lot of games I wanted and they were extremely cheap.DAMN!!!!!
I missed out on a LOT of games on sale because they didn’t announce this on their Facebook page :(
