hi Ryan, is Broken Age complete edition : package of Act 1 and Act 2 for ps4 and ps vita correct ? i am wondering why Project Cars is not available to pre-order In PSN Store yet ?
Hi there! Not a dumb question at all. Yes, the PS2 Classics are playable on PS3. I just list them as “PS2 Classics” so as to make clear that it’s not a PS3 game/version.
P.T. Aka the playable teaser for Silent Hills for PS4 is being removed from the PS store in just a couple of days..if you haven’t yet, download a copy! If you do not have a PS4 and are planning to get one, download the game from the PS store from a web browser. You do not want to miss out on the game! Does this mean the game is no longer being released? I certainly hope not. I am hoping the game is developed in another studio.
If the PS Store gets updated in time, I am totally going to be streaming Omega Quintet Tuesday evening. It sounds like the type of absurd combination that I’m going to love.
Whenever Koei Tecmo releases a game on PSN, they first release it bundled with a few bonus add-ons for the first 4 weeks of release. After 4 weeks, the game is re-released, but without the bonus add-ons.
This week, the bonus bundle version of Toukiden Kiwami, released 4 weeks ago, will go away and be re-released as a game-only version. That was probably why it was showing up as a new release for this week.
The backlog commands my attention currently. But I may pick up Project Root and Broken Age down the road. I also enjoy seeing PS2 classics being released digitally; please continue with the re-releases.
As for requests; please move project skylight out of beta, and release more PS4 face plates soon. EBay scalpers are currently selling the PS symbols gave plate for triple the MSRP.
Can’t wait to pick up Omega Quintet on Tuesday! I don’t have a camera yet, but I’m considering getting one because of the interactive features I read about for this game. Which somehow brings to mind if the Tales of series by Namco will be making a transition to the PS4?
#HauntingGroundonPSstore
^this game came out on the Japan Playstation Store as a PS2 classic last Tuesday,
this might higher the chances of the game coming out digitally in the US.
If you still want Haunting Ground to come out on the US Playstation Store, please copy and paste the hashtag above in your comment. It might motivate Sony to release the game on there ASAP. That ESRB listing of the game for the PS3 has been on the ESRB website for nearly THREE YEARS, and we have been waiting too long for it to come out.
Bit off topic :D but why are there no basic PS4 Consoles(i.e with no games) on Amazon for a week or so? Well it said sold out but come on SONY PS USA don’t make it easy for you know who to catch up in sales :(
I think what we are all missing here is that an indie game is being released that doesn’t utilize outdated graphics for the Vita! Project Root looks stunning in terms of graphics and game-play. Combine that with the fact that its shump with bullet-hell style game-play, and you have a game-style that is sorely lacking on the Vita.
Day 1 purchase for me. And cross-buy only sweetens the deal.
Got Omega Quintet pre-ordered, but gotta pick it up Thursday sadly. Can’t wait, the beginning of the Niche RPG PS4 possibly? I really hope IF brings Hyperdimension Neptunia VII to NA this year.
-I have been looking forward to this more than any game this year. Thanks to everyone at Sony involved in getting this game on PlayStation Vita. The 3G Vita is by and far the best mobile device ever made. Hope we see a 4G Vita on shelves in the near future.
Tropica 5
-So glad to see games like this making their way to PlayStation. I would really like to see more city builders, things like RollerCoster Tycoon, The Sims, and Cities Skylines would be amazing on PS4 and Vita, and escpecially with Mouse and Keyboard support.
-On this note It would also be great to see MOBA’s and Real Time Stratagy games like Command and Conquer and Company of Heroes on both platforms as well.
Awesome Job PlayStation Team, remember One Platform, One Brand, One Sony. PlayStation is the future of Sony at home and on the go. Expand PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita far beyond games and media. Make these platforms part of peoples everyday lives. Use the PlayStation Network and PlayStation Store to turn these into dominate cometitors to Android, iOS, and Windows 10. Your future is your own.
@Widow3cdo
Those are only visible to people with whom you’ve shared your real name, and only on PS4 and the mobile app. Outside of those devices (such as the Vita, PS3, or here on the Blog) you only see what you have set as your general PSN avatar (which I STILL can’t believe you have to have a PS3 to change your avatar to a purchased one (not one of those stock avatars)).
Enjoy the Drop!

Yes, it’s the complete Broken Age on PS4 and PS Vita, correct. And I’m not sure about Project Cars yet, sorry!
