Here’s hoping you don’t have any plans for a while. The Witcher III: Wild Hunt is coming to PS4. Explore a massive open world and continue the story of the legendary Witcher Geralt of Rivia.

@1 Nobody said you have to buy anything as soon as the Store update happens on Tuesday. Nothing’s going anywhere, and you’ll still have all the time in the world to pick up PSN cards if you have to.

Witcher 3 isn’t the only place where the hunt will take place. The House of Wolves expansion will launch on May 19th as well, where all Destiny players will begin their hunt against the traitors!

I have a question though that is kind of off topic. When PS2 classics are announced, there isn’t a designation on which platform they work on. Are they PS3 only at this point or are they added to PS Now as well? Thanks!

I already pre-ordered “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” at $53.99 (after 10% discount). In fact, I pre-ordered it twice – had to re-pre-order after Sony canceled my pre-order when the game delay was announced.

Now that there is a “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Expansion Pass” planned, how do I get it at $22.50 (10% discount) instead of paying the full $24.99?

Or how do I cancel my pre-order and then pre-order “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Game + Expansion Pass” at $76.49 (after 10% discount) instead?

Wow the only good game i see in here is Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed for PS Vita (its the only game that works for me only, don’t know much info on the other games but yea). I love to play my PS Vita games on the big screen with my PS Vita 1000 Model if possible right now. It may have something to do with the port next to the game card, maybe you hook adapter to it and it gives you HDMI port then or so. No way i’m buying PlayStation Vita TV that can’t play all its own Vita games on big screen. Anyway i’m for this adapter with HDMI port or release PS Vita 3000 model with it built-in without losing anything that makes PS Vita its self. :) >.<

Got a limited edition incoming (second daki, but arriving before the Hatoful one), and just impulse-bought an OLED Vita to sear my eyeballs out on! Finally get to use this Persona 4 Golden gear, though it;s a shame about the significant “mura effect” it’s got.

@Ry-Dog – Honestly, nobody reads any of that because it’s just spam. And in what way do you expect your pound signs (“hashtags”) to make any sort of a difference? If you want to write out a proper comment and request one or two games you would like to see, there is a better chance that someone will read it, but you should know that it won’t do you any good. Notice all the terrible “classics” we get, and notice how there are great classics that many people want but are never added to the PS Store. Requests are truly pointless.

1. Please enable 2 step verification for PSN.
2. Please allow us to add a recovery email and phone number to our account.
3. Please allow PSN ID to be transferred between regions.
3. Please enable a pin number to prevent unauthorized access to the PS3 and purchase on PSN.
4. Please free up the 10% of the internal HDD that is reserved for the PS3 OS.
5. Please give us the ability to individually backup, install, save, and load games to from an external HDD connected to the PS3.
6. Please allow current PS+ users to purchase games that they already got on IGC.
7. Please make PS Now more like iTunes and not like Netflix or Redbox. Also, allow users who already brought PS3 games digitally to get it on PS Now at no additional cost.
8. Please create a PS1 and PS2 emulator app for the PS3 and a PS1, PS2, and PS3 emulator app for the PS4.
9. Please link Ultraviolet to PS Video.

The Witcher 3 looks kinda like Shadow of Mordor with a dash of Dragon Age. I like me a good jrpg, but they tend to overhype the crap out of wrpgs, so I think I’ll wait for the reviews before deciding on that one.

I was going to buy The Witcher 3, but I cant stand that framerate. What I cant seem to get my head around is, Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain is 1080p and 60fps and that’s open world.

Also my brother and I was watching footage on the witcher 3 on gamerslyde, with the 1.1 patch intact. He said that footage looks last gen. I have to agree. To me the best thing about the game is when you talk to npc and make choices. The horse riding does look ok, but no way as realistic as Red Dead Redemption and that was last gen. Im just alittle disappointed , I was hoping better. I will probably buy the game when on offer,and wait and see if the dev addresses the framerate. At least lock the framerate to a consistent 30fps or maybe a butter smooth 60fps, I wish.

Only thing about digital is the downloads… takes longer to install instead of just popping a disc in lol

– PS Now is always going to be a rental service because it requires expensive resources, specifically, at least all of the following: a full cell processor, roughly 512MB of memory, some form of GPU and a ton of network bandwidth. This is because PS Now is essentially a network farm of PS3s(cell processors, memory, all the main components of individual PS3s). The reason for that is related to my next point.

– It is going to be a very, very long time before it is possible to emulate a PS3 on anything that doesn’t have a cell processor. First of all, the cell processor’s main core is a PPC processor, which is notoriously difficult and inefficient to emulate on x86. Then there are the SPEs, which still dwarf conventional CPUs in floating point performance, so it’s not possible to emulate them in real time. There will NEVER be a PS3 emulator for the PS4, and it’s going to be quite some time before it’s even possible on high end PCs.

– I have no idea why you’re complaining about how the PS3 uses storage. The OS doesn’t take up that much space, much less than my 360 used to use. It’s not going to change now anyway. Just buy a big damn drive and be done with it, it’s not expensive now.

The Witcher 3 looks like a great game. Too bad I have a backlog at least two years long. Not that I’m going to wait that long to get it, but I can’t justify getting it right away. Sigh, so many games, so little time. It’s really a great time to be a gamer. There are so many great games to play, there’s not enough time to play them all. You wouldn’t know it listening to all these tiresome, whiny little brat millennials. I’ve never seen so much complaining in my life. Holy **** they can’t shut up about their pathetic little first world problems.

Hey Ryan, do you happen to have any info on FFXIV Heavensward preorder? Square Enix has been giving us the boot and blaming you guys on not being availabe for preorder through the PS store because of Sony, I doubt this is accurate since it went live back in April, and the game is due next month. Been checking every week on Tuesday for preorder availability through PS, was hoping you guys could be more helpful than SE blaming it on you, thanks.

Farming simulator, i laugh a lot when i see that. Where’s the fanboys warnings at? Last time i checked profanity was forbidden. Actually prices would be extremely beneficial for those who are targeting a specific game and want to make sure their affairs are in order for its release. Some come out with its expected prices but some want to double check. Cant really blame them for it. Nothing for me personally this week. The witcher 3 has a lot of hype i dont think will stick, cant trust all reviews. Some bad and the game was fun for me and vice versa.
