      Between Ratchet and Clank, FF7, KH3, Bloodborne, and Uncharted 4, it’s about time I buy myself a PS4.

      they have a lot to live up to … there are essentially two markets for that game – gamers like me who will probably nick pick the **** out of it and gamers who never played it … for me I want them to add and improve on everything … I would actually hate a game that plays exactly the same way …

      I shed a tear for FF7, man, it was about time!!! Still, there is not release date :(

      To be fair, we got World of Final Fantasy announced for Vita (and I’m pretty hyped for it, lol). :P

      Also, yes 3DS has decent games but I can’t stand playing on such ancient hardware. Small screen, poor plastic build, low resolution, horrible online infrastructure, games from 1990’s that never go on sale, region locks, the list goes on. It’s a good thing Nintendo’s handheld division is doing worse every year, maybe they’ll be forced to improve soon (Sony too, because of course Vita has its share of flaws).

    @PlayStation Making a hottest trailers list+not including MGSV is like remaking or bringing back FF7 + Shenmue + Beyond Two Souls + Heavy Rain + Uncharted 1, 2, and 3 + God of War (multiple times) + Ratchet and Clank + but NOT bringing back the #1 game fans voted for on your BLOG SHARE website… SOCOM…

    Seriously, I love these games + remakes but show some love to SOCOM already, it’s what tactical / competitive / social gamers want and are MISSING!!!

    Oh, and watch the MGSV trailer people.. It blows these other trailers away in my book…not in graphics, but in story, emotion, cuts, music, and powerful imagery…

      Forgot to mention Resident Evil, Jak+Daxter, Devil May Cry… Seriously it’s time SONY takes note, SOCOM is the biggest franchise that is being ignored. Yes, it’ll take effort to bring it back (with online), but the reward is much bigger if you do it right (how the ps2 socoms were, not the ps3 games). Socom was bigger than HALO when Sony did it right…..

      SOCOM COMBINED ASSAULT WAS MY FAVORITE. SOCOM 2 WAS WHERE IT GOT ME INTERESTED THO. SONY SHOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER MAKING A REMAKE OF IT ATLEAST. ALL THEY NEED TO ADD IS BETTER GRAPHICS AND THE MILLIONS AND MILLIONS OF SOCOM FANS WILL DEVOUR IT UP! SERIOUSLY ITS NOT THAT COMPLICATED. IF THEY CAN REMAKE A WHOLE PS3 GOD OF WAR GAME..SOCOM FROM THE PS2 SHOULDNT BE THAT DIFFICULT.       Man i miss the days of Socom! I started with socom2 tho but i did try the first one. Anyhow as i played socom2 i almost instantly fell in love with socom like if it just came natural! Well as Socom3 came out it was a dream! Imagine like battlefield sized maps only without air vehicles but some while after ppl werent playing the big maps bcuz they would complain theyre too big and takes forever to find the last person. Anyway i love the big maps cuz i would just out snipe anyone and kill anyone that would get close lol i think my favorite map is devils road on terrorist side! So after Socom3 there was Socom: Confrontation and it was made by a different developer, Slant Six. They just mimicd the previous Socom games so it was good bcuz it was almost the same feeling i had playing previous Socom games. Now Socom4 was made by the original game creator Zipper Interactive so i had high expectations on it and really i mean i love Zipper and i wished they never got closed but to me Socom4 was almost perfect but what really killed it for me was the cover system. I really didnt like it, it felt somethin like gears of war and i hated that. So for another Socom to be made it has to have the original gameplay and no cover system.

    @oo7PorscheMGS ……………………………………………… Why in the hell would sony bring back a franchise that utterly failed with the last two games? socom 3 was the begining of the end. confrontation was better than 4 but worse than 3 especially since it was online only. but socom 4 was an utter freaking tragedy. it was a complete COD clone. had none of the socom feel what so ever at least confrontation had the feeling a bit. No, you are not getting another socom. It isnt going to happen. what you can get is h-hour. one day. it is being made by sof studios which was started by one of the big guys and they have been slowly working on it to make it like socom 1 and 2. leave sony alone about socom. they can only destroy it more.

      Umm, that’s exactly why we DO need socom…because the ps3 socom games had multiple problems that prevented them from succeeding… Socom confrontation kept freezing for the 1st 6 months it came out… Socom 4 came out and the PSN went down for a month+ right at its launch… Not to mention they took out many classic socom features which we all know about.

      It’s simple, make a QUALITY Socom similar to the ps2 SOCOM games and you can make lots of $… Socom had millions of fans.. It’s why it was the #1 most voted for game on Sony’s own blog/share website…

      And yes, SOCOM fans KICKSTARTED H-HOUR, but unfortunately SONY is NOT supporting H-Hour as they are Shenmue 3 for example.

      HHour / SOCOM need SONY’S help, Sony is really missing out on an opportunity to make a HUGE shooter again.

      Look at how successful Rainbow 6 Seige will be, just look. Socom was 10x that game, 10+ years ago too. Socom had so many better features even games coming out now still don’t have. Again, huge missed opportunity.

      i agree with you bro it has potential but sony is the reason confrontation and 4 were so screwed up. because they bought zipper and had slant sux do confrontation. socom 3 was awesome compared to those two games. i dont want sony ever touching socom again but they could support hhour and should since they destroyed the series.

    I am most excited for is Horizon, it just seems so cool and my kind of game. Then of course The Last Guardian and Uncharted 4. I’ll get to them all eventually ha-ha!

      Yes Doom looks amazing too, that chainsaw is badass. I’m not really huge on shooters but will definitely be wanting this one. A lot of indie games are catching my attention too :-) My next game though will be Fallout 4. I’m VERY excited for that. There’s so many amazing games coming out it’s just crazy exciting. Definitely a great time to be a gamer…especially a PlayStation gamer. Really enjoying your coverage of E3 too, you guys are doing a great job with it and the live events viewer works perfectly.

      Whilst I do think it a travesty that nobody at SCEA or SCEE seems to have the slightest bit of interest in Persona, to be fair Atlus only showed the exact same trailer as before. No translations at all.

      They did translate the P4D trailer though. Yet there’s still no enthusiasm from SCE towards these highly sought after PlayStation exclusives.

    I thought that vita games were going to be announced like resident evil revelation 2 gameplay but it was not even mention in e3 except when that final fantasy game was anounce but that was because it was also for ps4.

      Also, I just verified, because I wasn’t sure that was true, but Dark Souls was never exclusive to Xbox. It came out multiplatform on the same day.

      SONY published Demon’s Souls, but that was, and still is, exclusive.

      Not sure what you are referring to exactly.

    Have you guys thought of Co-opping with Xbox/Microsoft to release Horizon on Xbox One? Considering the Dark Souls franchise was originally only for Xbox, then they let you in on it. That would be the perfect game for it.

      Hey, I think that all CAPS McGee over here thought you were referring to Forza Horizon.

      Since you’re referring to Guerrila Games’ game, my assumption is that SONY owns the IP. They are also publishing it. Microsoft did not publish Dark Souls, so it coming to PS3 wasn’t a huge surprise.

      It just wouldn’t make sense for SONY to do that, especially considering they never have. Yes, there are times exclusives, which are usually payed told hold via publishing or otherwise, but this is definitely not the case. SONY owns the Killzone franchise. It looks like they’ll own this new IP as well.

    I remember a while back Square Enix had a survey about what game they should make next and I chose a remake of Final Fantasy VII. I really thought to myself that it would never happen, that I should just keep dreaming. But then I see this at e3 I just cannot believe it. Dreams do come true! Lol best of Sony e3 2015!

    when the “low point” of a press conference is footage of the new Call of Duty you know you’re doing something right. man…so many games so little time. it’s going to be a busy couple of seasons.

    i hope they keep the materia and fighting system from FF7 the same and just streamline the interface but keep it the same. not all the new stuff they’ve done in recent games. just a shinier re-done gorgeous remake of the original.

    Sorriestst E3 show ever….thx for wasting a full year on stupid crap that excited nobody but FF7 idiots….at least when we had PS HOME I could get excited on free stuff and this year not even a PS4 theme free…I was left in the dark with no big news for the system either..not even a freaking update to customise something or mak PS4 stand out…yeah, thx for the unannounced media player but guess what? Doesn’t even play FLAC files….

    My wife and I are wishing, hoping, and Praying, that Bloodborne will get a 3D patch update, so the game will look it’s best, and we also are hoping for an announcement for an Exclusive Remastered Edition on PS4 of Demons Souls, with 60fps and 1080p graphics, updated to fix the bugs, and give the game amazing new details and animations! 3D support would be the cherry on top to see on our brand new 4K Ultra HD Sony 3DTV set!
