PlayStation Underground: Shu Plays Bloodborne

Welcome back to PlayStation Underground, our online show about video games! Today, we are pleased to host and honored to have our special guest, the President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida!

Before we were all swept away by the hustle and bustle of E3, Shu stopped by to showcase his personal obsession with Bloodborne by braving a high-level Chalice Dungeon with absolutely no fear (but maybe a little bit of caution). Shu also shares his heartfelt appreciation for the project, his history with FromSoftware, and his favorite weapons to employ against flaming hell beasts. He got a Platinum Trophy on this game, people!

My special thanks to Shu for stopping by to share his own Bloodborne character and face crushing defeat on camera…

OFFTOPIC: Sorry to post this here, but how do I get the blog mobile version back? Once I switched to the desktop version to see some tables that were to big, but after that I was never able to return to the mobile version while browsing on my phone. I have even deleted the phones cache to no avail.

  Scroll to the bottom left and there is an option to go back to mobile version (at least on my iPhone mobile browser)

  Yeah its odd, I have Android/Chrome but I don’t see that link. Chrome has its own option to “Request Desktop Site” but when I turned that off I could no longer get mobile blog.

Oh man! After Plating this game I feel more need to come back to it every time I see someone playing it. I hope the DLC will be announced officially soon so I can get my hands on it as soon as possible.

I bought Bloodborne down to play the Witcher 3 the last two months. But after watching this, I am firing up Bloodborne again.

Ryan you should post Shu’s winning Japanese play though. The video is out there. Folks it’s really hard to play this game while talking. I love Bloodborne! Shu keep up the good work! All the best.

You guys need to post PS Underground to the What’s New section on PS4. Same with the upcoming Conversations with Creators series hosted by Wil Wheaton. I love the PS4 and loved the PS3 before it, but one of your other competitors has and still does a better job at letting casual gamers (as in ones that don’t visit PS Blog or log in to make comments) know what’s happening when they fire up their console.
