  • Buying this right now! <3 LBP!

  • Can’t wait to dive into this. Keep the Adventure packs coming!

  • I kinda can’t help but smile any time I watch a LBP video or play the games. Great series and I’m glad to see the support continue :-)

    • Awww… It especially warmed our hearts to bring back all of the old Creator Curators and other memorable characters from LittleBigPlanet and LittleBigPlanet 2. :)

    • I’ve been playing since 2008 and i’m not stopping anytime soon!

    • It didn’t warm your heart, Steven, and it didn’t warm Sumo’s. You’re just in this for the money. If you actually cared about the game, you wouldn’t be working with those Sumo Digital dogs.

  • I went to the PSN store and didn’t see it up. I definitely want to get this but any ETA on when it will be available through the store? I’m sorry, I’m a little impatient when it comes to awesome content like this. :p

  • AlCaPwn_Tenacity

Question to StevenI: Will you and the Sumo team ever add any new sequencer instruments to the game at any point in time? I’ve been playing the franchise for the last 4 years and the only thing that keeps me on the game at this point is the music making feature and it was a huge disappointment when I bought LBP3 release day only to see that they haven’t added new guitars and better synths and added somewhat mediocre drum kits and a ukulele instead. it would be nice to have some sort of solid information to go by, thank you.

  • My son requests since Mincraft did a LBP mashup that LBP should do a Minecraft mash up…make it happen!

    • Agreed, but…. It should probably be A. Cheaper or B. Same price as other “level packs”, but more levels, materials, and a complete storyline. But… Who would want a storyline in a Minecraft level series?

Idealistically it would be a $2.99 one-level kit, showing Minecraft’s characters and giving materials for all ores and blocks and objects for the objects. Lots of items, and stickers such as “creeper face”, etc. At least that’s how I would expect it to go down.

  • Have the updates fixed the save file size, or does it still take up over 500 MB (half the available size in our cloud storage)?

  • I’ve looked in PC store, PS4 Store and LBP3 PS4 store, it’s not there yet. ETA?

  • Can’t wait to get this, I would imagine it will be out later this afternoon just like normal store update days?

  • I am still waiting for them to fix bugs in the original game.

I can’t pass this area on my game (I can if I join another game). There were four of us on the elevator and it broke and now the right flap is not where it should be and you can’t go right as you fall through the ground.

Look at where I am standing on this image this flap should be straight not stuck in the ground.
The ground to the right is also for some reason not solid on my game and I fall through it.

Can I restart a level or do I have to restart the whole game?

  • I am unable to find this DLC. Is it within the game this add on must be bought?

  • This DLC is broken to all hell. Avoid!

  • Wow $5.99!? Amazing price point. Thanks you so much for this. Going to pick this up later today for sure. Hopefully this isn’t the last Adventure Pack. Please tell us you have more in the works.

  • Great to see this out. I’m a bit sad that this wasn’t given more attention, but oh well.

Some quick questions, though: Is Carnivalia ever going to be mentioned/returned to again, since a LBPV2 is pretty unlikely? Does this game contain a new Hub area (Those were my favorite parts of LBP3, finding new quests), or is it just like the old games?

Also, when are local multiplayer trophies going to be supported? And, are there any chances of adding in two extra four player levels mixing the characters, like with the first area (The last two areas each felt like they were missing two levels, sadly)?

Other than that, I’ll definitely pick this up as soon as I get a confirmation that it works. No offense, but I just want to make sure that this wasn’t rushed out like the base game.

  • I’m still stuck in the game due to game-breaking bugs, as well. They were doing great with releasing fixes every month or so, but now it looks like post-release support has dried up like it did with LBP Vita. (The front and rear touch latency in the LBP Vita bonus levels makes them frustrating at best and unplayable at worst.)

Will the PS4 version get any lighting or rendering upgrades via DLC or patch? 3DTV support? Given the support for more depth levels, I was really surprised stereo 3D was left out of the PS4 version.

Will we eventually get the complete LBP1 and LBP2 game levels as DLC in LBP3? I’d love to play LBP1 again with the PS4’s 1080p resolution.

    • Having the stories of previous games available via DLC like Persona 4 Arena Ultimax would be amazing.

I own LBP1, but never got to LBP2, and would definitely purchase it.

  • Definitely getting this, but I’m also experiencing progression blocking bugs, the main one seems to be save state related and has been happening to me since launch.

In the Manglewood Swamp hub world, there’s an area in the lower part of the map that you need to use the boost boots to get to, where a robot will come forward and some platforms are supposed to fall so you can get across the swamp to the right. The robot came forward for me but the platforms never dropped and I am unable to get the Collectabells and Prize Bubbles on the other side.

I’m at a loads as to whether or not this means I need to start the entire game over and hope for the best or if there’s a work around. Maybe joining someone else who has the are unlocked already so I can collect the stuff I’m missing? I really don’t want to have to start over, but I also want to be able to collect everything.

    • I went through story, got all items, and… My progress reset and won’t let me get back to Manglewood.

  • As soon as the DLC pops up i’ll be grabbing it. I adore the whole LittleBigPlanet series, as does my wife. For my wife, she loves the twee stuff, but it’s the creation and customization aspects that keep me coming back. I’m thrilled that there is even more fun to have.

When I saw the Bloodborne Hunter costume, I just had to come back and start playing again. Bloodborne ranks very high on my list of favorite games (right up there with Zork). Will we see more Bloodborne content, say a Level Kit, or more costumes? I’ve been storyboarding my first real level, and the Bloodborne music would be quite an addition.

  • The DLC is finally up. Sucks to hear about more glitches though…

  • I purchased the DLC, but when I go in-game to download it (which I have to do for some reason), it loads an empty store page that says “No Content Available”. Did I waste 6$ or am I doing something wrong? It says it’s installed when I go to check my add-ons for the title in my Library, so I’m just super confused. I struggle with the store so much since it was changed a few years ago… ;__;

    • That’s odd. I just went to the webstore, set it to download to my PS3, then went to more stories or whatever and it was good to go.

  • Does the Journey Home mean back to the land of polish where LBP1 and 2 live? Media Molecule turned out masterpieces but LBP3 under Sumo/XDev was a rushed out, buggy mess that wasn’t worthy of the name. Maybe that’s because Sony figured it had to be out even though the polish wasn’t on it yet but the end result is the same.

    • Also, though, LBP3 was very short there were MORE than a couple very polished levels there guy. Yeah, it was released pretty buggy but it is fine now and they had multiple sales including the 24 dollar digital DL one that was insane. It’s the only reason I bought some of their DLC packs.

  • Game is playing great for me atm and I play with someone in NZ lol. Anyway, we NEED a SALE for the DLC that most of us ALREADY had with LBP2. I’m talking the damn move pack, the MGS pack, and the others. I have bought most of the others but there is no way I am paying again for those redundant packs. What a ripoff.

  • What happened to the “free” DLC they were talking about a little while ago…??

  • Oh my goodness I’m super excited for this! I’m a huge fan of the dia de los muertos and 50’s aesthetic levels. Hope Sackthing gets a new calavera skin, I need another one badly!

  • Congrats, the pack was awesome and I loved the new costumes! The levels were fantastic as well, Is there any chance we will see more of these premium level packs in the future?

    • It was only four levels. And four costumes. It should have been free, had CHAPTERS OF STUFF, had more costumes and materials per chapter, and should have been an update to adventure mode (which is unfinished). As well, I demand an update bringing back the useful glitches and the dev logic.

      Custom pins FTW!

    • Chapters is a bit much to ask, we got 3 new awesome levels that were created with a lot of detail as well as 4 skins for each character and a new power-up, what more can you ask for in a short DLC?

  • So… You grant us an unfinished game for $60… Make a ton of useful logic secret… Remove glitches that increase creation potential… Remove the secret logic… Purposely limit the community by changing the physics system… Make us pay $6 to finish the game… And make all the DLC short, sweet, and overpriced? StevenI, you’re just another greedy Sumo Digital dog. Bring someone who cares for the game into the developer chair. You’re just screwing us over in the bum.

BRING BACK MEDIA MOLECULE, ALL THOSE GLITCHES THAT INCREASE CREATIVITY POTENTIAL, AND SOMEONE TO MM PICK WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY’RE DOING!

    • BenSmart112, maybe go do something useful with your life instead of acting like an over-privileged jerk. Real mature to attack someone doing their job repeatedly when you have no idea if what is posted is true or not. The world does not revolve around you and your feedback is not constructive as it is insulting and aggravating.

  • I enjoyed the DLC, though a bit short. Maybe make the next one a little longer? I also wanted to use Oddsock’s bouncy power up in more than one level!

  • The collectibles trophy is glitched unfortunately. It’s disappointing because the company promotes co-op play, and the game fails to function properly. Why did Sumo decide to have level completion / trophies count only for the host? Why does it say 97% collectibles when I have 100%? I’m hoping for an additional patch to rectify this latest issue.

    • Yeah, I know. I played with several others this weekend. Some of us got the trophy, some of us didn’t. You could post it on their Twitter. Maybe they’ll patch it.

  • Hey, Steven.. I’m just curious, I wonder when or what the next DLC of LittleBigPlanet 3 wile like? I would really like to see a pack where there were:

    -5 New special materials
    -20 – 30 New materials
    -55 Stickers
    -10 Decorations
    -12 Objects
    -3 New music
    -4 Interactive (Int)music
    -2 New backgrounds
    -6 Costumes

That’d be my dream pack.. Could be possible!

Oh, One more thing.. I wonder what DLC for “LittleBigPlanet 3” is Sumo Planning? (Just Curious)
