500gb is ridiculous.
All of your consoles should be 2tb minimum.
It always comes down to cost. You can swap the drive yourself, it’s a standard 2.5″ drive and swapping is supported
I understand that. I had the 2tb drive before the PS4 so I could swap it out before I ever plugged the thing in. The point is it’s 2015 and 500gb doesn’t cut it anymore. My 500 gb PS3 is already full, and games, updates, and dlc file sizes are larger this gen. 500gb was a bad idea 2 years ago. Now it shouldn’t even be an option.
I’ve filled my 500GB drive no less than 4 times. I suggested it’s a nonissue; I simply delete the content I have finished/don’t plan to go back to and reinstall if, for whatever reason, I end up wanting the content back again.
Did you never learn how to use the “delete” function?
You can always buy your own and swap it.

If you use this one you can then put the 500 gb drive from the ps4 in this case and have an external hard drive as well. ;)
I don’t get all the hate. The PS4 should have bigger hard drives.
