Was going to buy it but then i saw they discounted binding of isaac by only 10% yet they claim the sale is up to 90% off , not supporting this false advertising when its only one out of 73 games with that discount and it´s misleading and bad business practice, looks like sony soon has to pay another $20 to every psn owner as compensation from the next lawsuit, but @ sony send me a check never buying a thing again.

    + Passmore76 on August 25th, 2015 at 11:32 pm said:

AlemanGC since there is at least one game that is 90% off it is not false advertising and other than Binding of Isaac most of the games do have pretty good discounts going on. Just because one game is only down 10% doesn’t mean that the you should judge the entire sale based on that one terrible discount. It’s maybe a little misleading but hardly an uncommon tactic or bad business.

+ klerikofkaos on August 26th, 2015 at 12:05 pm said:

@AlemanGC: It’s not misleading at all. It says “up to 90%” which means that the discounts can range anywhere from 1%-90% at their choice. Saying “up to 90% off” doesn’t guarantee that every item is marked down 90%. It’s the same as when a store has a sign saying “Sales up to 80% off.” If you look around, some items are 20% off and some are going to be 80% off. The same works in a digital market as well.

    + Keith_Loving on August 26th, 2015 at 4:37 pm said:

@AlemanGC: Sony has been having sales just like this since the creation of the PSN Store. This is not a new practice and it won’t be the last time they do this. Good luck finding a lawyer for the lawsuit, because there is no case of wrong doing with this sale advertisement. You’ll be wasting your time and money trying to make a case where there is no case to be made.

Sorry
But we DON’T need any retro sales cause they are every week on sales.
Moreover, a lot of them were ps plus games in the past.

I wanna (and I’m not the only one) Jrpg sales more frecuently

First i counted maybe 2 or 3 as free games in the past. Second, we just had a big JRPG sale a month or so ago

    Earth,
but the big JRPG sale (golden japanese week) is THE ONLY ONE in the year!!
    The same happened on 2014.
I have never seen some games on sale (and they are not so new)

What are you talking about? This is great for some of us!

For instance, I got Tower of Guns and Towerfall Ascension free with PS+ but I let my subscription expire so I can’t play these games anymore unless I renew it. This sale means that I’m able to buy them for cheap and also keep them forever!

I’m sorry, but you don’t speak for everyone. I’ll probably be picking up 3-4 titles in this sale. Very pleased with the selection.

I urge everyone and anyone to pick up DeBlob for the LOW LOW price of only $1.50 (heck, even if you don’t have Plus, it’s a steal at $3.00!)

Easily one of my all-time favorite games, so simple and unique. It ranks right up there with Katamari Damacy as the kind of game I think I’ll only sit and play for a half hour or so and before I know it, it’s 3 hours later…

Beyond Two Souls at $6 is a steal.

But Binding of isaac with a 10% discount only when sale says up to 90% off ? what an insult i´m DONE WITH SONY i rather buy games elsewhere on other platforms where customers arents tricked and lied to

Agreed, in fact I liked The Binding of Isaac Rebirth on the PS4 and was looking forward to buy it if I got it discounted, this discount, however is too low considering I can get it back for free when I renew my PS+ subscription…

+ Inaccuracies on August 25th, 2015 at 2:53 pm said:

You’re funny. 3 dollars off of 15 is a 20 percent discount, not 10. And it says “up to 80/90 percent off”‘, not “every game is 80/90 percent off”. Calm down.

    + bajor27 on August 25th, 2015 at 4:22 pm said:

I’d be VERY surprised if you can find a place to shop than. Seriously, sales everywhere are listed in that fashion. It’s either “up to X% off” or “from $xx.xx” (the lowest priced item).

You were neither tricked nor lied to. They correctly advertised it to you.

Some of these are enticing, but with PS Plus free games being indie games each month, I wonder if these will show up in the future Plus selections. Although Hotline Miami 2 and Grim Fandango are calling my name. Must resist….

If you want to play them, than just buy them and enjoy them. Skip eating out once this month and you’ll probably break even on the cost — and that’s assuming they end up free in the first place.

I wish some of these games had demos. Any chance of another 99 cent flash sale with Journey and Flower for the PS3?

C’mon, no Shovel Knight?! I’m just waiting for a sale to get it… But it never happens :/

It was on sale before it came out. Totally worth full price though. The game is great.

Finally Strikers 1945 Plus on sale for $1.50. Great game, very Raiden-esque. Just wish there was more “retro” games, especially some of the PS1 catalogue for Vita.

Ratchet and Clank Into the Nexus is calling my name. I believe it comes with Quest for Booty also so this looks really good to me. Maybe the Namco Museum Essentials at that price too. I like this week’s sales CC!

Can you confirm QFB as included? You might have sold me on it if so…

    Moofboy, It is included!
Into the Nexus = 6741 MB
Quest for Booty = 2388 MB

Quest for Booty does not have trophies if that matters.

I’m actually very impressed with this sale guys. Well done. Everyone should buy Child of Light at the price. Also, From Dust is a good god sim, especially for less than $6, even better for plus. I am in for Grim Fandango on vita! Why Super Putty is so expensive is a huge ? to me though.
Anyone have more vita suggestions that haven’t been a part of the IGC?

Just picked up Grim Fandango for my Vita, Wolf Among Us for PS3, Beyond: Two Souls, and From Dust. Now when I’ll get the chance to play them, that is the question since I still have games in the wrappers that I bought three years ago and still have not touched.

Man, so many goods games! My primary system is the Vita, so I’m loving all these great indie vita games. Although, I kind of wish that when a game went on sale, it was equal across systems. The Vita versions of Binding of Isaac and Child of Light aren’t on sale :(

When does this start? I just checked the store and two games that I really want to pick up for their amazingly low price aren’t discounted or is it only US and not EU because that would be stupid and would really suck?

The note at the end of the post says US only.
