PlayStation at PAX Prime 2015

If you’re heading to PAX Prime this weekend, make sure to swing by the PlayStation booth (#222) to see our latest games, take part in fun activities, and grab some cool merch. We’re bringing our virtual reality headset, Project Morpheus, as well as nearly 40 games. That includes this year’s most anticipated blockbusters, like Star Wars Battlefront, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Street Fighter V. Plus we’ll have upcoming digital titles like Drawn to Death, Fat Princess Adventures, Abzu and Enter the Gungeon for you to try. If that’s not enough the Indie MEGABOOTH/MINIBOOTH (#612) will be teeming with inventive PS4 games to check out. Phew!

In addition, we’ll have mini tournaments, giveaways, and demos from our studios on the WWS Community Stage all four days of the show. Saturday at noon you’ll have a chance meet, greet, and beat KindaFunny.com’s Greg Miller at inFAMOUS trivia, hosted by Sucker Punch. You’ll also be able to step into the world of Nathan Drake in the Uncharted photo booth and share your favorite pic with friends, or try to win Fat Princess Adventures prizes by joining the Balloon Armor/Balloon Animal contest – we’ll provide the balloons, you get creative to make the coolest armor and weapons.

By playing Fat Princess Adventures or by hanging in our PS Community Booth, you’ll be able to acquire the Fat Princess pin and collect these rad decal stickers. [Psst…there’s a secret message on the back of both.]

  • is there going to be anything on No Man’s Sky?

  • I hope they’ll have Uncarted Nathan Drake will be racing in the Brazilian Rainforest XD kidding

  • Would like to participate in those trivia…would win everything there is to win.
Drawing contest seems pretty interesting as well.

  • Might want to remove the hip seam on the Chloe pinny, as it comes off as a thong strap which is not only inconsistent with her design, but seems like it could anger some of the fans of the character. Also it would be really nice to see an Elena pinny! …or an Elena anything really…

  • Is Armello in both booths? Lucky them :-)

I hope folks report back on Abzu, Drawn to Death, and Fat Princess Adventures as I’m eager to see more!

  • If your going to invite people to pax, It might be helpful to some if you mentioned where pax was going to take place.

    • No offense but if you don’t know where it is, chances are you aren’t getting in (I believe it’s all sold out)… It’s in Seattle by the way.

    • A) They didn’t invite people in this post/thread/article.

      B) If you don’t know where PAX is being held, it’s probably not near you and you more than likely weren’t attending.

      C) Google is your friend.

  • Don’t forget about the Vita

  • This looks wonderful, I hope to hear some great things during the event!

I missed you guys at PAX East this year though!

Maybe in 2016 you could make it in honor of my birthday :)? Pretty please?

  • If you have to start your sentence with ‘no offence,’ its probably offensive. I never said I didnt know where it was, nice responses there Mr. know it alls. ‘Chances are’ and ‘probably’ should never be used to answer a question, and refers more to your opinion than anything. Stay in school kids.

    • They didn’t invite people to PAX, they invited them to their booth at PAX if they were going.

Fair statement, you didn’t ask where it was only that the OP should have said if we are heading to PAX Prime in Seattle this weekend…

And you didn’t ask, but for those reading at home, tickets to PAX Prime in Seattle sold out in under 30 minutes.

    • Maybe, because it was closed to the public, from the beginning.

Personally, it sounds more like a game designer convention, than anything else.

My other two conclusions are, as follows
that they saved the embarrassment of showing ticket sales, or
that an average american, with dreams of resale, bought them out, in hopes of higher priced tickets.

*And Melted, people are offended by almost anything these days.
Its a common prefix (not sure what a prefix is, but it works for me). Like people conditioned in the military, to use the term “with all due respect” .

Usually if just signals to me, that the person is usually reasonable enough, to have a civil argument.

But it is kind of pointless, and childish to advertise a party, and tell everyone they are not invited.
      Much like “Greatness Awaits”.

  • Andrew,

Any chance for the Summer Lesson demo at PAX? Would love to see that :D

  • Booooring game lineup this year from both Sony AND MS. Glad I’m skipping PAX this year. No more for me until NEXT gen. Almost 8 years in a row is enough anyway. :)

  • There should be a booth dedicated to #BetterPSN

  • I’m looking forward to finding out more info about these 3 games.

    Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
    Star Wars: Battlefront
    Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection

  • Do you have PAX exclusive t-shirt merchandise this year? If so, do you have any pictures? I’m unable to attend but one of my friends is going and last year you revealed some exclusive clothing on the blog. I was able to get a “the last of us” shirt last year because my friend picked one up for me!

  • So is there anything new on The Forest from Endnight Games, I thought that was supposed to be coming to PS4?

  • And just think Sony, instead of reducing the cost of your older games, (which most developers use as a basis for these knock-offs)

and adding funds into a REAL development team,

you can offer a lineup of titles, that I wouldn’t travel 50 miles to see, and continue a trend of less than mediocrity,
    and the occasional gem.

    Smart thinking.

I guess bankers are so out of touch with anything other than money, they have no idea what real value is, thereby ruining a no brained investment.

It is either that, or developers are far and few and making so much money on AAA games, that they got lazy.

  • I should apologize,
Some developers, may have put a lot of hard work and love into those.

But maybe I wouldn’t be so ignorant, with better updates, game play, and developer bios.
-Besides, I wanted to bring a really great game to people ($$$), and sympathy ploys about living in some basement/attic.

Sorry, but it is what comes to mind, when your wife makes you watch shows like First 48 FBI Collection on A&E or Netflix.
