While the Vita selection is disappointing, I’m pleasantly surprised to see that the things on the list of PS3/PS4 games that also appear on the Vita at least, for the most part, do appear there.

As for what I’m interested in, I might get Peace Walker HD or some of the SNK games.

Now if only we could get the PS1 Classic situation on Vita sorted out, it’d be a 20th Anniversary worth celebrating.

Planing to get MG Peacewalker to play on Vita… I have a PSPGoCFW and another PSP Metal Gear Peacewalker edition (with the UMD) but never played the game to the end… Belive it? (And is a nice game!)

Just out of curiosity, is the price for Metro Redux for the US only? Or has the store not fully updated yet? The two games separately are on sale but Redux still remains at 49.99 in Canada.

+ GummyCore on September 8th, 2015 at 4:47 pm said:

I also don’t see the $12.50 PS+ sale price on PS4 Metro Redux (which consists of both Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux), only the $7.50 for the individual games. Is the price not updated yet?

+ KonietzkyStrain on September 8th, 2015 at 5:13 pm said:

Was wondering the same thing. I only see the separate games but the PSBlog post shows it individually AND a collection. Will definitely wait on purchase to find out what-is-what. Sells for $20 for the disc version new locally.

I’m in the US and I still don’t see any sale price for the Metro Redux bundle. I’d buy it for $12.50 if it actually was on sale.

Yeah, nothing I want/don’t have.
I’m tired of seeing “deluxe” editions on sale and not the base games.
Also, it seems as though adding tons of titles to the PS3 sales is just a way to pad the sales page. PS3 is done.

+ MattyT on September 9th, 2015 at 7:25 am said:

If you want to talk about “padding a sale page”, imagine if each of those deluxe editions also had the base game on sale. It’s a better value to us, the consumers, for the deluxe editions to be on sale. Especially for older games, the typical consumer is going skew towards getting the most content in a single purchase.

    Ahhh poor guy. You sad?

    + penguinx42 on September 11th, 2015 at 1:27 pm said:

Or when deluxe/bundles are on sale but the DLC isn’t. I already have RDR. I don’t want to buy it all over again to get a deal on Undead Nightmare.

Saying PS3 is “done” is kind of silly though. Most of the sales are on older games, and most of the older games are on PS3.

Well…the GOOD news?

1) Nice selection of discounted (good) AAA titles for PS4. =)
2) Long list of games.

The BAD news?

1) There’s no variety in PSN’s Sales anymore. 80-90% of these games are just THE SAME repeated list that we’ve seen 100 times already. As an example, it’s the “20th Anniversary” Sale…and there’s not a lot of “Classics” in there.

2) As usual with Sony…Overpricing is the name of the Show. And that sucks. SMH

3) The Vita got the shaft again. Not that the PS3 did a lot better. So basically, if you didn’t bought your PS3 this year and/or you’re a Vita owner…you’re pretty much $&*%#. Bummer. *sigh*

So…overall…it was a nice attempt…but ultimately if we consider this a “celebration of PS history”…it fails. Badly. =(

At least we still have the Flash Sales, huh? =P

Just wanna voice out on the bad support pages.

Bought Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix for PS3 and Capcom Puzzle World just for the same game to play on vita since its a PSP game.

After purchasing from the PS store then boot up my vita, can’t find the game. Went support and there’s no live chat and all the support seems to say too bad, better luck next time.

4 bucks isn’t alot for a donation or lesson. Just a bitter taste in my mouth for a lousy purchase and reading sarcastic support remarks.

And still, no SPF2T on Vita.

The sale is actually disappointing considering this is suppose to be a celebration of 20 Years of Playstation overall. You got a great range of PS3 games. but lacking sales for other systems..There should be a bunch of PS1 & PS2 Classics as well as Vita and PSP games.. There are a bunch SNK Arcade/NEO GEO games. As much as I like some of those games, but this is suppose to be Anniversary sale for Playstation, not SNK.

I agree… seems like PS3 owners are getting the “Best-of-the-best” but other systems are very anemic in quality and selection. Which is odd considering how much Sony has been pushing the PS4 system. Same thing seems to happen every month with the PS+ collection of PS4 games.

I pre-orded Uncharted 4 in June 2015 and now its asking me to pre-order again and I can’t get the pre-order theme. Also my auto download date is 3/29 instead of the official 3/18. Any fix for this?

If this is the 20th Anniversary sale, it is what I have grown accustomed to from Sony.

3 year past Plus subscriber who moved on to Steam, where they already ( recently) had a Metro Redux sale for $5 each.

Maybe if you had better sales / IGC, there would be less complaining, less insults to those that do, and much more business.

I’ll be keeping hopes on my Vita, but have already started purchasing much lower cost Android games (that are being added as games to PS4), since my faith dwindles with each passing year.

WOW …. can’t even answer a simple question about Metro Redux if it was a mistake or not about being on sale. It’s just 1 simple question Sony and you can’t even response back. Care much about your customer!?

Interesting that the Metro Collection is now removed from this post BUT it is still listed all over the web regarding this post. LOL.

Well, that’s a nice list, but I was expecting a sale with all or most of the classics games like Crash Bandicoot or Spyro the Dragon =/

Only the first episode of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is discounted? That’s a joke, right? It’s got to be. No discount on the HD Remake either. But of course, Resident Evil 4, which has been discounted hundreds of times is here again.

Hey PS Blog! I just purchased Patapon and Resistance Retribution on this sale. I never got around to playing either one, but I figured this would be the perfect time to let you know that a new game in either of those series would be more than welcome. Preferably a new Patapon on Vita and a new Resistance on PS4. Thanks for your time!

Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded and Remix are listed as PS3 games but can only be purchased on PSP, that sucks I was gonna buy both of them for my PS3.

The prices for the Collections for Jak, Sly and Ratchet for Vita are kind of a slap in the face for Vita owners. There are some good prices on other things, though. I think the FF14 price on PS4 was really good.

Don’t bite the hand that feeds you, Sony.
