PS4: Big Holiday Lineup, Lower Cost
PlayStation 4

Since the launch of PS4, we have been thrilled with the amount of gamers jumping into the world of PlayStation for the first time. If you haven’t made the jump yet, and you’re starting early on your holiday wish list, I have good news – we’re dropping the price of the PlayStation 4 system in the U.S. and Canada. Starting tomorrow, October 9, you’ll be able to pick up PS4 starting at the new price of $349.99 USD / $429.99 CAD (MSRP). • Omg, this has got to be the greatest news I have herd in a long time. Is it true? Did we Canadians really get a $20 price cut? I hope this is not a prank cause I would be so disappointed if it wasn’t true. YAY for canada, we freakin rock.
Bur I’m not gonna get the ps4 just yet, imma wait till the next price drop, hopefully by Christmas it drops at least $5 or $10. Cause that would be the best and greatest Christmas of all time. Yay for loose pocket change price cuts!! Cause in the end… nobody likes there pants pulled down cause they have to much loose change in their pockets.

    • Yay! I’m so glad I waited 2 years for that $20 price cut! Now I can finally afford to buy a PS4…NOT. **** Harper for ruining our economy. Maybe I’ll wait until next year; hopefully the new government will fix it a bit so Canadians can actually afford to live in Canada. If that guy gets in again, I’m leaving.

  • What is the difference between the limited edition Star Wars and the standard $350 bundle?

  • Will these new holiday ps4s feature hdmi 2.0 hdcp 2.2

  • Finally just upgraded from XBOX 360 to PS4 and I am stunned by the quality of the graphics of games such as The Witcher III Wild Hunt, Drive Club and Watchdogs. However, the missus and I really enjoy sitting down in an evening when the kids are in bed to enjoy playing two-player split-screen 3rd person games that we can both enjoy over a wine (or two). But where are the games guys????

I think that with the power of consoles like the PS4 and the advancement of movie quality gaming, the demand for mature games that you can share with a partner or a mate locally is going to grow. People who don’t currently play computer games because they they had considered it a strange solitary or on-line only environment, will give it a go and get hooked if the local multiplayer games are available.

A replica of Army of Two or Gears of War for PS4 would be perfect! For now we are playing Resident Evil but once that’s done we don’t know of any similar games available on the market that I can buy currently.

I truly hope that I haven’t made a mistake choosing the PS4 over XBOX One!

Here’s hoping someone at Sony is listening.

  • Only $20 price drop for us In Canada. Thats sad and weak. Come on Sony you can do MUCH better then that.

  • Only $20 off in Canada? Really Sony this will not increase sale in Canada. This won’t make someone buy a PS4 any cheaper. I know the weak dollar is in effect but why is the Xbox One here in Canada $350. Please discount another $30. That will make a difference for you sales here in Canada
