Drama. Magic. Zombies. Magic zombies? Maybe not that last one, but we’ve got the other three in spades with our new free games coming to PlayStation Plus. So without further ado, here are your PS Plus games for November!

Leading the (zombie) pack is critically acclaimed The Walking Dead: Season Two on PS4, by the expert storytellers at Telltale Games. The second season follows Clementine in her struggle to survive a world torn apart by the undead menace. Guide her actions and influence the game’s outcome as nail-biting choices must be made to keep on living.

Also available this month is Magicka 2 on PS4. This spell-slinging action game empowers you and your friends with the elements to defeat your enemies (or sabotage those same friends). Hysterics may ensue, which might be a welcome break after all those zombies…

These PS4 games are free for PlayStation Plus members starting on the first Tuesday of November, and you can find the full list of PlayStation Plus games below. Enjoy!

    Why can’t walking dead season 2 be cross buy with vita? I bought season 1 on vita and I want to continue it on vita!!!

    Yes. They may be old games, but they’re the type of games I like to see of Plus on the PS3 – games that were once top-tier games that maybe people missed.

    Since I’m hoping black Friday will bring me a deal on a PS4 for Christmas, and I still need to finish Walking Dead season 1 on my PS3, I guess I know what I’ll be playing in November.

    Love all the selections this month! Dragon Fin Soup is my favorite out of the group. We could use some clarification on which Invizimals for the Vita. PSP? Alliance? The Resistance?

    Only disappointment for me is regarding no cross-buy or cross-save on TWD:S2 because my S1 saves are on Vita. Still, I can live with it for free over paying for continuity.

    Thes year has been awful for ps+, I remember before the ps3 came out we where getting 2 triple A games a month. Now you get indies no one wants and games that are half a decade old. PS+ Needs to change, how has games for xbox live become a much better service, while you keep getting worse?

      Good for you. PS Plus has better selections that Games with Gold. Grass always seems greener on the other side. Trust me, I have both.

    Best month for PS Plus in a long, long time. Specially for PS3! I already have played both on other platforms but I’m happy to add them to my PS3 collection and now I have a good excuse to go back and play a bit of them again.
    As for PS4, I’m glad we finally have a month without any indie platformer or retro-looking game (nothing against them both, I had fun with some of them, but enough is enough!).

    Solid month, let’s hope it keeps going this way!

    TWD and Magicka 2 I couldnt care less about, but dragon finn soup i’ve had my eye on so thats cool. I am a bit concerned there hasn’t been a AAA title on ps4 ps+ in quite a while.

    So many whiny people on here. If you don’t like it then stop paying for it and switch to Xbox Live. Amazing how entitled people have became back when Xbox Live was new you got NOTHING but online play for $60 a year. Now you get online play on playstation and multiple free game’s a month and people still whine about it.

      Agreed! Unfortunately times change, it seems XB seen that they were losing to Sony and made the effort to not only offer free games, but to also top Sony each month with better games to offer. It would be nice to see Sony make a similar effort rather than be complacent since they have been dominating this generation.

    The only PS+ game I’ve played in the last 6 months was Rocket League.

    Please put value back into Playstation Plus. As far as I’ve seen, you made it mandatory for PS4 online and then decreased the overall value of the games available in comparison to the service we received on Playstation 3.

      Sorry to hear that you don’t like videogames. I got some great games through Plus the last six months: Super Meat Boy, MGS5 Ground Zeroes, Valiant Hearts, Rocket League, Limbo, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Teslagrad, Broken Age just to name a few.

    I wish TWD: S2 was for Vita, since I just bought the first season for Vita, but I’m still looking forward to that. Magicka also looks interesting. Excited about having Mass Effect 2 on PS3, as I played it on Xbox 360 awhile ago. And I’ve never played Beyond Good & Evil, but I’ve always heard great things about it. No idea about Dragon Fin Soup and Invizimals, but I’ve actually enjoyed quite a few of the Vita titles that have come out via PS Plus recently, so I’m down for that.

    Magicka 2 is a big win and Dragon Fin Soup is cross-buy, so that’s another PS4 title and it looks cool. I’ll play through TWD Season 2 since I played season 1 on Vita, but I didn’t really like season 1 much. I’ve never played Mass Effect, let alone 2, so I’ll probably check that out, but wondering if I’ll miss much if I skip Mass Effect 1.

      Mass Effect 2 on PS3 comes with a “Prologue Comic” at the start of the game to allow you to make the important decisions from the first game as well as let you know what happened. That way, you won’t be TOTALLY in the dark. But the best Mass Effect experience is to play all three consecutively. They’re all excellent titles, and I highly recommend them to anyone into action/rpgs/science fiction and excellent storylines. Mass Effect 2 is also the one in the series with the best collection of characters (in my opinion). It was my first Mass Effect title so I’m sure I’m biased. Best intro sequence in videogames!

    Wow that was a lazy video. At this point Playstation Plus is becoming less and less worth the money. If I wasn’t playing Destiny I wouldn’t bother with it. You don’t have to add AAA games, but do something with PSPlus to make it useful.

    Oh man, I was hoping this to be false, haha. I’m not disappointed. The lineup still looks pretty good to be honest. I just wrapped up Season 2 last night, and oh so incredible! Season 1 went up a long time ago on PS+ I think so yeah, this is good for anyone who has played Season 1. I thoroughly enjoyed it. About Magicka, I don’t know, I’ll add it up and see how it goes.

    Also, PS3 lineup looks sweet! Can’t wait to try Mass Effect for the first time, and Beyond Good and Evil! Now, if only I could set up my TV stand in time to hook everything up! Hah.

      You’ll really enjoy Mass Effect 2. And when you’re finished with it, I highly suggest buying Mass Effect 3 somewhere, it should be pretty cheap. Amazing games with amazing graphics and a great story to top it off. Never get sick of Mass effect and super excited for 4 to come out next year :D Be advised, they’re pretty long so you’ll be spending some time trying to complete them but it’ll be worth it.. Trust me.

      Hardly. PS+ games, for sure, they’re **** again. But PS+ for online play is making Sony over $600,000,000 per year (and rising) since it became a requirement for PS+ online. They have increased their subscribers by at least 10,000,000 since the PS4 hit.

    I now have no excuse not to play the Mass Effect trilogy again on PS3. I’ve 100%ed the trilogy on 360 and was sure a HD collection was coming but alas, apparently not. Just need to buy the 1st one (3 has previously been free).
    I also feel like Beyond Good & Evil is here as a primer for an announcement. It’s began cropping up again recently.
    Walking Dead and Magika are both good picks. Really hope Invisimals isn’t a psp game as that would be a massive step backwards for the service.

    I really like this month’s offers. I only own one of the titles (Mass Effect 2), so that’s a plus. Also, I’ve been watching Dragon Fin Soup since it was announced for future release on Playstation platforms, so I’m very excited to be able to dive into it day one on Tuesday’s update. That in mind, Sony/Playstation, please keep up the day one indie freebies in the future. I LOVE getting the chance to play a title the day it’s released. It also means folks can’t say they own EVERY title available for the month :P

    I also agree with the previous comments about the Plus preview video. It helps to put all the titles in the video. Even if you just edit together clips of all the trailers for the games without a PS rep providing commentary, or just embed the trailers on the post individually. It saves me from having to hunt them all down.

    As for the Invizimals game, they haven’t released a PSP or PSone title in Plus since they dropped the classic support(that I can remember anyway), so if I was a betting person, I’d go ahead and say it was one of the Vita versions. Either way, my Vita is slam full, so this game will just go in my download list hoping for the day I upgrade my Vita memory card (again).

    Actualy this month is basic, every month should be like this, im not very happy because after awful month i was expecting something better, the store is full of good games that are already old . I never played a single game from this games lineup, im gonna buy twd season 1 before play twd season 2, please keep on this level and im very happy.

    PS3 has a pretty ok lineup but I’m a bit not over the top about the ps4 lineup. Being as this is the 2 year anniversary month of the ps4, you’d think they’d offer something, even one thing, that is a lil more higher end than these. I’d even say by now, some of the launch titles would have been offered up, like Knack or Killzone. Maybe next month, to celebrate Christmas and PSX???

    I just might redeem my 30 day voucher that I have been holding on to for the past year, haven’t had PS Plus in over 2 years now.
    But I am going to wait a few weeks so it rolls over into December, who knows, they might give out some good games 2 months in a row.

    I’m happy to see they they are putting a AAA PS3 game on plus, again. I got my ps3 late in the game and haven’t caught up on all the good titles. Beyond Good and Evil looks like a lot of fun, too. I’m in the mood for a goofy action game.

    Not too excited about the ps4 games, but I’m happy for those that are! Maybe I’m wrong, I’ll give them a shot.

    I already own half of these games namely Walking Dead Season 2, Mass Effect 2, and Beyond Good & Evil (Which are all AWESOME games) but the rest of the lineup looks promising :) I am especially excited for Dragon Fin Soup

    Okay. For those who have an opinion against these line-ups and more or less, say it’s an “awful lineup. it’s disappointing to see such a lackluster lineup going into the holiday rush.” You guys are ridiculous. You pay maybe $50 A YEAR for this content, which might I add, gives you AT LEAST 6 $5-$10 retail games which is a $30-$60 retail value at least EVERY MONTH!! AND YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT IT! It’s extremely sad that every one of you are PS Plus members and I see you every month complaining about it. You have every right to have an opinion but get some perspective.

    I just came here to show my appreciation like usual and laugh at all the whiny comments from entitled brats who are mad Sony isn’t pandering specifically to them because they’re either too cheap to buy the games themselves or mommy and daddy wouldn’t buy it and now they feel entitled to it. Because God forbid you don’t the new shiny games for free.

    and graphics obsessed indie haters aren’t real gamers so their opinion doesn’t matter anyways.

    PS+ isn’t supposed to be your main source of games you know. It’s a monthly supplement, icing on the cake.

    The problem is most of you are too ignorant to realize that Sony has to work with developers to get these games free. They can’t be like “Let’s make Advanced Warfare free!” and then push a button and it happens. There’s a lot of logistics and legalities. SOmetimes the games they give us weren’t even THEIR first choices.

      Also, they have probably well over a million PS+ subscribers. They can’t specifically pander to every single customer’s diverse tastes every sing month when that many different gamers are subscribed.

      You people need to learn how to be more realistic and reasonable. You may think your complaints are justified because you see others on here complaining but trust me, you’re a vocal minority. Most people are too content with every month’s offerings to bother commenting.

    Another month of straight garbage… There should be two tiers of PS+, $20 for the multiplayer only, and $50 for the multiplayer and monthy indie garbage

    I own beyond good and evil and I have played the first episode of walking dead season 2 and it will be nice to finish it up. mass effect 2 is a nice game but I think most people who have wanted to played it already owned it by now. get better games for December. I just want some decent aaa games that are not 5 years old

    I’d be super stoked for the PS3 games if I hadn’t already played them, though I’ve since misplaced my Gamecube copy of Beyond Good and Evil and this seems like a good excuse to play through it again.

    The game selection has diminished since the PS4 came out, but I still feel like I’m getting my money’s worth with a subscription.

    Not that great. Better than September and October, but still not great. I don’t understand why they don’t put Knack or The Order 1886 on Plus, it’s not like they’re selling anymore.

    I wouldn’t say this is a blockbuster month in PSPlus free offerings for me, but there are certainly high quality games on the list. I look forward to playing Magicka 2 and seeing what Dragon Fin Soup is all about. ME2, Walking Dead season 2 and Beyond Good and Evil are all great games, I just happen to have bought/played them before.

    It’s unfortunate that this comment section has become a toxic whining sounding board, but I guess its technically “feedback”. Thanks for the free games PlayStation :)

    Thank you, Playstation for not listening to the PS3, or Vita subscribers anymore you guys are the real MVP seeing how most of your subscriptions come from one of those two consoles still its almost like you’re Microsoft now except now a days they have better Live rewards then Plus does line ups such a waste.

      This was never based around a meme? This is strictly my own tamed review of my entire three years having the Plus subscription (Which I’m planning on not renewing now) I can tell they don’t even care about anything besides the PS4 Subscriptions to plus because they clearly don’t even try anymore if you take time to even look back on the line ups they use to have.
