  • Come on Sony give us ni no kuni

  • They really need to consider making that $99 a year option permanent. Its the only price point I want to consider in the next few months.

  • When will the new sales be up on psn? Just curious

  • I know this is for the US but are there any plans to bring this number of games, or the 12 month subscription offer to the UK. We seem so far behind as far as PS Now goes.

I really enjoy the service but most of the news and updates seem to be US only.

  • Doesn’t make sense why we have to pay to play our already paid for ps3 games in the first place. The $99.99 should be a permanent thing not just a holiday thing. Too much money sunk into games as it is. If yall gonna do that, reimburse me for the games I paid for on ps3.

    • Well said!

    • It makes perfect sense. Streaming costs money and the price you paid for those PS3 games did not include the cost of streaming those games at a future time.

    • Yea I’m just ignore that kid’s statement. Like I said it cost to much for games, not gonna keep paying for already paid for games.

    • While I slightly agree, many of these games cost $20+ on PSN. $99 for one year to play over 400 of these $20 games is a good price. If you don’t like it, don’t subscribe. I do agree the normal price SHOULD be the $99, but streaming and getting rights to these games cost Sony a lot of money.

  • I feel like you guys should bring back Crash Bandicoot and other really good games from ps2 and ps1

  • Still missing key PS3 games like:

    -Jak and Daxter Collection
    -Ratchet and Clank Collection
-Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction
    -Resistance 1
    -Resistance 2

  • For anyone who’s owned a PS3 for a few years, I doubt there’s much interest in this service. My 2 PS3s still work fine. I still use them. My digital content for my PS3 now surpasses the physical versions. I have zero interest in streaming a PS3 game on my PS4, especially since I already got the games I wanted to play anyway.

Backwards compatibility will probably never happen for PS3 titles..at least not on the PS4. Xbone compatibility is vastly over-rated. I speak from experience. Title selection is pretty paltry, and some of the most requested titles will never ever be BC because they are multi-disc sets. Xbox has never (well, one neager exception) offered digital downloads of any title spanning multiple discs!

If only Sony could let us use a external HDD. That’s the one thing Xbox 1 does and why I buy more games for it. Sure, I can swap out the PS4 drive, but pluggin in a HDD is far far easier and cheaper. But Sony keeps pushing a service on us that no one really asked for (not necessarily bad) but ignores a request (external HDDs) that many have been asking for since day 1.

  • I just hope that through h.265 or the onlive acquisition that you manage to lower the bandwidth requirement and add higher quality streaming (surround, 60fps and 1080p)

  • Ni No Kuni, Demon Souls, Mass Effect collection.
I would buy it just for any of those.
Or I can borrow someone’s dusty ps3, I’d rather get it on psnow

  • Since White Knight Chronicles is (mostly) an online game and will be very grindy/impossible to Platinum solo, is there any chance the servers will be turned back on since it has joined PS Now?

  • I really think Sony should allow gamers free access to games they have already purchased digitally on PSN with Playstation Now. It would get me to use start using the service and then I’d consider adding a subscription to access all the other content it offers. To me Playstation Now is the answer to PS4 backwards compatibility and I don’t understand why Sony doesn’t use it as such. I think you would get more people to pay for the service to access the rest of games it offers if they have a positive experience using it in this way first. I know I would.

  • Would you guys please add Ni No Kuni? I’m so disappointed every time I see such a huge list of announced games and this one is left off. It was the best JRPG in years!

  • Perfect update!
Heavenly Sword, Killzone1-2, Journey, Quest for Booty – my Vita is screaming with joy!
    Thank You very much.

  • Will Heavenly Sword have trophies? I’ve always wanted this game to receive trophies. It would be so awesome if you guys gave it a trophy patch.

  • Quick question James Martin, has the service improved since the beta ? I had a pretty bad experience back then. Do you still really need a wired connection to your system ? My setup at home doesn’t really allow for that.

I am afraid to use my free trial just to find that out because I don’t think 7 days will be enough to really test it out. I’m hoping you might offer a 30 day trial in the future so that I could really get a feel for the service as it is now, play multiple games and not have internet issues or PSN outages affect the experience.

  • hey guys, im a huge supporter of this service. but the 99.99 yearly subscription needs to stay as a locked in price not as a limited offer. More people will be enticed by that offering.

    • 100% agree! I want to subscribe, but I won’t have any money to myself until literally the DAY after this deal expires. I need to pay rent.

    • A little update.

I subscribed at the $99 price. Good deal, but I wish there was more “BANG”. Theres alot of good games missing, like the entire Little Big Planet series.

  • when will these new ps3 games be added like is it straight away or is there a date for the release

  • Yummy Look at all the sweet candy. I love this service. White Knight here I come. #happyIam

  • if I buy the suscription twice am I going to get two year of service for 200$ ?

  • Hey I had a question for PS Now. So for this money, I get all these titles to “stream” to my PS4 correct? So I’m able to play PS3 games on my PS4 right? Also do I get trophies for these games as well? One more question. What is the reccomended internet speed for these features and what is required to play these games? Also if my internet connection doesnt suffice (im pretty sure it does), could I get a refund? Thank you!

    • * Do the titles stream to your PS4: YES
      * Will you be able to play the PS3 titles on your PS4: YES
      * Do you get trophies for these games: YES
      * Recommended Internet speed: I’m not sure, but you can use the trial (see link above) to determine whether it works with your connection.

    • Thank you very much!

    • I believe the recommended speed is at least 5mbps. Personally, I recommend at least 10 if you have more than one thing using the internet.

    • From my experience, 5MBPS is fine if you are the only one on the internet. But you need much more than that if say, your roommate is watching netflix or playing online while you are on PSNow.

  • Thank you @sony so much for your continued work on play station now! You’ve givin me every reason to purchase a year of your service with your support and want to add further games. Looking forward to streaming and promoting this service though starting my video game channel!

  • PLEASE ADD SUDA51 GAMES AND NI NO KUNI AND GAMES LIKE RED DEAD REDEMPTION IT WOULD BE SO AWESOME

  • Sony had its CES conference today. I believe it was two years ago that the company announced the service at CES, so congratulations to everyone who worked to make it a reality. One thing they mentioned at the announcement at CES 2014 (?) was compatibility with smartphones and tablets. I’d probably stay subscribed year-round if that was available. Is it still in the works?

  • And STILL no Tekken games. At the very least add some Tekken 6, 5 or Tag 2 so I don’t have to keep plugging in my PS3! You have plenty of other fighters like Street Fighter and King of Fighters etc, give Tekken some much deserved love, especially seeing as Tekken 7 comes out soon!

  • D
Its great price at 99 i send some of my 99 this month on trails of cold steel for ps3 heres my 2 cents i still own a ps3 and 4 please u cant own evey single game in the ps now libary yea ther2es a few titoes i have or had and dont mind playing a game 5hat i had at one time shure but hell get over it open up that game stll sealed in the box and play on ps3

  • To everyone complaining about having to pay for a streaming service that ties to your PSN account where you already own said games as a download, I have 2 points for you:

    1. This is why you can’t purchase individual movies/shows/videos on Netflix, because unlimited streaming of their service of even a select amount of titles, would lose them money at some point in the future, even if 10+ years from the point of purchase. And this is at 2-3 hours maximum for films.

    2. The link below explains the Data Cap issues that exists in streaming games with Playstation Now compared to streaming videos via netflix. The only thing left out is the physical cost of not only operating a system of servers for access of all users at any point of time, for every game on offer, but the cost of sending the Data itself, with constant input, as well as output, unlike video which is 99% output.

  • If PS Now was on PC I would be all over this offer. I had to leave my PS4 at home for 2 weeks and no longer own a Vita. When I’m at home I’m playing back log of ps4 games. So you see why this service only works for me if it’s on PC.

  • Can someone explain if ps now will use any gigabytes on either consoles i really want the subscription. But I don’t have a lot of space.

  • Still no Demon’s Souls :/ Oh well maybe someday soon, still have my fingers crossed for an HD remaster though.

  • 19.99 a month is WAY too much for this service…

  • I might be more willing if it had better games. Nothing I really care about. Would love to see some PS1 and PS2 classics added, as well as some GTA games.

    • You say “better games” and say there is nothing you really care about…but then you say you want GTA…haha what a taste, sure you don’t care much for quality.

  • I really hope this arrives over to EU within the couple of next months (or at least during 2016, I suppose)…

  • Great to see 40 PS3 console exclusives games being added. With 100+ PS3 exclusives and more than 300 PS3 games to choose from, I feel DISAPPOINTED when I don’t find any Tennis games.

There is no tennis games on PS4. Is it possible to add Grand Slam Tennis 2 from ps3 to ps4?

I cannot go for PS Now until this is done!

  • How about Castlvania Lords of shadow?

  • I would like to see Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Final Mix, and kingdom Hearts Re: Coded in the PS Now to play on the PS4.

  • I love the idea of PSNow. BUT, I own over 30 PS3 titles that I would love to be able to actually play on my PS4 without having to fork out even more money. It is getting to the point where it makes no sense to buy any games anymore because you can’t really own them. There should be an easy way to put he disc in the PS$ and it show that you actually have it in to unlock free play from the service. But, no.

I also hate the fact that I can never buy a new game for my Vita that is still a great piece of hardware but has been abandoned. No more AAA tiles or great software. I did not buy it to play apps.

SONY is really dropping the ball and I have been a HUGE supporter for the last 15 years. I am very disappointed.

  • I’m really loving this service A LOT. It hasn’t given me trouble for the free trial I’ve used. I have a PS3 but playing them on the PS3 for a cheap price is more than worth it. There were lots of PS3 games I never got around to playing but now they are on PSNOW and it’s great. I don’t have many concerns about the service and I’ll subscribe later.

I just have one question. Will you guys put imports from Japan on the service or will it just be english only titles? The PS3 had lots of games that never released outside of Japan.

Also, when will Sony start to add PS1 and PS2 games? I would also love to play some PSP & Vita games on it if possible.

I’m really in love with my PS4 for various reasons I didn’t expect Sony to come up with a great service like PSNOW.

Also, how exactly do the companies who put their games on PSNOW make a profit? I know you probably won’t answer that one.

  • HI, I moved recently to Canada and I decided to try psnow here because I didn’t bring my ps3 with me, so far I’m satisfied by the service, I have just two questions, is there any way to change the language of the games? the service will still be available for me to use if i go back to my country (italy) to spend the summer? thank you to the moderators

  • Nice 48 exclusive games is a lot…and considering there is no better quality than PS exclusives then its a helluva awesome games being added to the service.Pretty cool for those who use it…PSNow is growing pretty fast.

  • Does every account on the ps4 need the subscription? Or as long as its active for one family member it works for all?

    • Just like with Playstation Plus on the Vita, you probably need one account per family member. 400 dollars for a family of 4. VALUE!!

  • So Why Aren’t All The Gran Turismo,Need For Speed,Hitman,Wolfenstein,And All The Other Blockbuster Games From PS3 Still Not On PS Now???

  • I Will Not Become A PS Now Subscriber Until I See More Blockbuster Titles.

  • Will the 20% voucher code that comes with a new ps4 work on this $99 12 month ps now deal

  • Please add Star Wars The Force Unleashed 1 and 2!

  • I feel like people’s concerns always go ignored on here. I love me some Playstation, but I will choose to save 100% and not get this terrible service. Now, I will go ahead and say this: This is probably an excellent service for those people who have never EVER played any PS brand stuff. for the rest of us Sony veterans this is not good.

Stupid Microsoft has started backwards compatibility, which was probably an idea they stole from Sony’s best console ever, the PS2.

I know money is important, but keeping customers( that already bought your console, buy your current gen games, and spent hundreds of dollars on PS1,2,3 digital games ) happy is usually the best business practice. Keep that in mind if you also want to beat Microsoft when the PS5 vs Xboxwhatever battle begins. Disillusioned fans tend to never forget.

  • Nice to know moderators only respond to the positive comments and ignore any advice from the fan base. Even when said “good comment” has a part the moderator doesn’t like he conveniently leaves it out of his response. Thanks for listening to your customers PlayStation!

    • They NEVER once have engaged with anyone that’s not kissing up or praising. Never once have I sen them address concerns or offer REAL solutions. It’s kind of terrible.

  • Does it work well for online game?

Bring back MAG game with good server!!!!

  • I hope you guys come up with a better payment option.

  • Where the heck is Playstation All Stars?? Why hasn’t that been added on here yet?
